You shouldn't save any Tribute if you want to maximize profits. Tribute is a resource that is lost at the end of the map and a random window is just a random window. It might feel bad if you see a mirror in a random window and you don't have enough tribute, but you haven't actually lost anything.
@@Exosta On another note: in about 10-20 maps my Glacier didn't result in a single altar spawn on the boss. Whereas City Square has been over 50-70% of the time, with the ability to drag the boss all the way over. I also noticed that your trade searches for the blood-filled vessels are no longer valid; I can't seem to buy them anywhere except on the TFT discord on which they are over 25 chaos each.
For some reason, I never even thought of using multiple blood-vessels on a single map for the extra juice stacking. Thanks for the video. Even though I don't play trade, I want to make use of Ritual more for the socket/link omens and fractured/synth bases in SSF.
Nice Overview and also a pretty good showcase how to use Vessels. However I'm into Doing Rituals in City Square Maps (did about 400 now) and I can definately tell you, you CAN pull the boss into a nearby Ritual in order to get more Tribute, even if there was no Ritual on the Boss-Space. Same goes for Delirium Bosses (Kosis/Omniphobia). So I would definately double-check what you said in the Video, that it's only possible to get Tribute for the Mobs that were already in the Ritual Space.
5:45 is something nobody ever mentions, that i just recently learned. Im glad you brought it up as well. Its a hidden interaction that u ignore when u have multiple items to differ

followed the harvest crop rotation strate the other day. however another popular youtuber poe has posted a similar thing, and the horned scarab shot up way too much up in price ytd lmao. although i made currency, it was much lesser cos of that. at one instance it was 190c on the currency exchange ( i used to buy it at like 135-ish few days ago when i tried the strategy) Good job making more guides. Please make more guides on specifically other ways to farm or even better, how to farm cards like apothecary more efficiently as i have been looking to get the card/ item . thanks!

Greatly appreciate the public no mf strats. Have been doing Ritual myself and its quite fun. Id say among the no mf strats pure craicic hunting is more profit/hur but also more boring while Ritual can hit you with that jackpot mirror.
I got the Perfect Frozen Tiger yesterday. I only encountered that big hit because I heard the laugh of that king. I knew it is special and that I should defer and reroll so I get more invitations. But I never did a really juicy stategy, I was just playing around, so my Tribute number was kinda small. I am sooo interested in doing your strategy, thanks for the vid.

In regards to using two scarabs of abundance, it doesn't sort the items by "best in the upper left" but by cost. This means that if one of those "best" items would normally be in the upper left, but it gets reduced to 0 by the atlas passive, it will then be as far bottom right as possible. It is of course extremely rare that this could happen to something really valuable and it get pushed off the window but it still scares me and I think is significant for people to know.

ritual vessels are quite cheap, i would say buying them from the auction house and ignoring the splinters in rituals would save a lot of time and headache.
very good presentation. Going to take a few reviews to completely digest everything. one wish and few questions. Would be nice to have a worksheet in a "Dark Mode" option. The mechanic of the blood filled vessels is glossed over. If you defer the splinters until phase 2, how do you get vessels to fill in phase 1? How many vessels is enough for phase 2? Or do you buy splinters during phase 1 until you have X stored tribute filled vessels.
Simply put, you start phase 1 with zero vessels from scratch, then you start farming some (you can get easily more than 1 per map, often times 2). Sustaining them in phase 1 is trivial
TIL - tribute is not saved across maps, or is it use it or loose it. So defer/ buy splinters with last tribute. I think this is where I missed the ball. Spending the tribute does not effect collecting the blood
i do not understand how youtubers like ziz become famous. they put barely any effort into their videos, and are lacking so much information. just like in runescape, if you want to get proper information look for a small creator. thanks for that great video
A neat trick for ritual bases : you can use the recombinator to increase the ilvl of your ritual base (recombinator split 50/50 the ilvl of both items). So no need to farm t17 to generate high item lvl bases. ••Edit : ilvl formula seems to be avg of both item +2 and not 50/50 split (base on sirgog recomb guide)

Great video.I cant really go to phase 2, coz i kinda get all items with defering.but this is how i run the maps - just roll City Square for map have 2 bosses. no 8 mods or so.I removed legion and took deli on the tree.kill the bosses in the ritual = 16-20k tribute every map.

technically breach monster are present in the circle when you open the map they're just invisible , you can tell they're pre spawned sometimes when you see a weird partially transparent spot on the map (it's a breach boss) that being said i don't think they respawn in ritual regardless
2:45 well, I can lure the spider from toxic sewer to the circle and it counts for blood vessel but not sure if it counts for tribute, but she respawns throughout all other rituals
A couple of things I found myself and from different sources: 1. Always rush the boss, since if there's an altar spawn with the boss it will give significantly more tribute for this map 2. There seems to be a limitation on how many extra enemies can be captured by the ritual, that's maybe why sometimes the boss does not always spawn with the later ritual as it might get overwritten by other minions(Need more tries but that's my experience so far) 3. There's a moving blue ring spawn with every altar, stay in the ring and see it becomes golden. Some say it increases the tribute but I couldn't feel a significant difference 4. Maybe not good idea to have Singular Focus, as it would block non-favourite T16 map drops, and those could turn into T17 maps by Voidstones. Have 12 favourite spots for Glacier should mostly be fine for map sustain, also T16 maps are dirt cheap already
I agree on almost everything you said. Rushing the Boss is very important. You need to activate the juiciest Altars first. As for the number of monsters from the Altars, it is indeed very limited and RNG-gated. In fact, the Blood-Filled Vessels provide more Tribute than normal Ritual because they have 20% more maximum monsters alive! As for the Ritual Scarab of Wisp I experimented with my positioning. I had a vague impression that if I stand inside the Wildwood Circles I get more Tribute, but visibility isn't that great and tbh I am very unsure about how this works. I agree that maybe Singular Focus is too much. I almost always leave it up because I really like to experiment a lot and often times I don't complete Maps when I record videos, so my sustain is very bad.
@@Exosta standing inside the circle from Ritual Scarab of Wisps makes a huge difference, you get 70% increased tribute while in the circle. I tested some botched runs where I didn't spec into shrines and the monster numbers were really small. The difference was like 5-7k tribute without the scarab to 10-12k with it. The only problem is that you can't see the damn thing most of the time and it likes to jump away when you get inside it. I died many times while trying to spin around the ritual and find the circle. I think it would've been better if the circle itself empowered the monsters like the wildwood mechanic does so you could just hit them and not have to play the annoying minigame of finding the circle all the time (that's also how many people including me expected it to work when reading it the first time). It's the only thing keeping me from fully enjoying RItual.

This might be a dumb question but are monsters listed in any particular order on the blood-vessel? Sometimes I have one generate on the last alter and even though there were a bunch of unique monsters in the encounters they often come with none mentioned at the top whereas others will list them. In the case that there are none, are they still worth using for the buff? Because, imma be real, I've tossed the blanks. :3 Also, I've noticed that the drop rewards seem to deplete over the course of the encounters when it comes to unique mobs. Is this just RNG doing its thing or do the diminishing returns of their tribute also impact their loot table? IE: I run T8 Twinned City Square ritual a lot in SSF since I am not jacked and the first couple of alters with the bosses it's unique city but by the last one it's pretty bare bones.

The gold isn't bad. It is prob better than the passive gold from some of other strats since you get the mob gold and then the ritual itself will drop additional gold when completed. I get roughly 15k-20k per map. I am running 8 mod maps, the 3 cheaper ritual scarabs, 1 elder influence scarab, eater of worlds, and 1 domination scarab.
12:09 but sometimes you get random reward with 0 tribute cost(free), and its allways in bottom right. its moved from left top(divine orb for example) to right bottom. is it mean if you have more rewards ritual window can have - you can lost ur divines\mirror\some sweets coz of it?
This is a very good point you raised there. That is why I looted very few 0 cost items. This is a 1.25% chance for the reward to be free, which is really a small chance. I also think that the value you get by using 2x Ritual Scarab of Abundance far exceeds the possible loss derived from those 0 cost items being lost.
It seemed to me that any item could be 0 cost, regardless of position... I am pretty sure I already got 0 cost jewels that were right in the middle of the window.
I looked through the MF Academy Strategy Guide, I couldn't find your Atlas tree build. There is only a POE planner link with no nodes leveled. Which tab is it under?
3:20 can you explain what you do with shrines like how it works? Do you ativate shrines kill monsters than open ritual? Same with legion how it works? Is opening ritual order matter and how so?
You first kill the monsters from Shrines and Legion, and if they are were spawned inside the Ritual circle they will be respawned by the Ritual as well
Did you test legion and ritual yourself? Im pretty sure there was a changelog way back in the days saying this interaction was fixed and i recall i tested it like 2 leagues back and i didnt managed to get any legion monsters into ritual.
Can you recommend good HH builds that don't take much to get going (I can craft what I need until endgame upgrades). I have my HH and currently running a home-brewed slam chieftain and it's great and tanky but GOD I hate constantly pressing warcries
Hello there i actually farmed the ritual this past few days i do it city Square map some times i don't spawn ritual in boss but i tried to lure it to the ritual besides the boss and got significant boost in the favor actually i also put ritual vessel to the first finished ritual with the lured boss and i captured them in the vessel i don't know but when i did that with out luring them i got significantly lower tributes but when i lure them they spawn and i got more tribute
This is the second report I get of this behavior, which is really interesting. I still think that luring Bosses takes a bit of time but that's a cool finding
@@Exosta I also run city square and when i lure boss to ritual and kill it in ritual circle it guarantees spawn 100% times (did 50+ map) after i start that ritual . And then it sometimes spawn on 2nd ritual and sometimes even on 3rd one. But when i dont lure bosses it spawn in ritual maybe only 25-50% times. So this is established fact that luring boss guarantees spawn in 1st ritual cause i ran 50 maps with luring and it spawned all 50 times.
12:15 that is wrong , the extra items you get with almost no tribute cost , those that appear at the bottom rigth(sometimes cost 0 tribute ) can be expensive , i found a stack of 5 div for 0 cost at bottom left , and i also find a kalandra´s toouch in that place too , looks like the extra items you get from all the scarabs/atlas passives are just shuffled into the tab
Yes the sentence was not correct because I did not think of the 0 cost possibility. I still think that maximg Ritual Scarab of Abundance has more value than the value you may lose from some 0 cost items that fall out of the window
Well, very intresting. Ill be blunt for a bit. You have an heavy accent for example, 'respawning' thats not how you prenounce it at all. However due to the context and also the illustrations on the screen i dont have to rewind to figure out what you are saying. Sadly my game crashes when I try to do a ritual with 4 blood filled vessel. Like not even error "The Game stopped working" messeage it just freeze and close itself.
@@Exosta ritual specific fliter which focus on highlighting good synthesis bases with +1 charges and other high value items will be insanely op. will save so much time than checking most of the items one by one. I think it will reduce map time by almost 30-40% .
Why do you need expensive gear to farm rituals? You can get very good gear on standard for very cheap, it's only the truly broken stuff that's really expensive.
so considering scarab of abundance have shot up to 2 for 1d in std, do you think its worth buying at that price? I am finding that i am sort of losing currency as i cant keep up with the current scarab prices for this strat right now
Should I defer the items I already reserved or save tribute for the item next window. Example I have 5 splinters already in reserve in the first window with no valuable items, do I defer them again or reroll and reserve the it for the possible items on the next window. or I keep deferring them as much as i can?
Hi Exosta, why when I use domination on the map device, the rituals don't appear on the map? I have skill three of rituals, I also have scarabs, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Do i need a high clearspeed build for that strat? becaus i am playing a firestorm build, and normaly i would not use legion, but if i only have to clear legion monsters near and in the circle it would be ok.
I'm not so sure about the kiting monsters into the ritual not respawning... I run City Square and whenever there is no ritual on top of the bosses I kite them into the nearest ritual and they do respawn.
I am skeptical about this, I think it is hard to perform. I tried to the same with Delirium Bosses and they were not respawned. However it is possible that map bosses work differently!

6-8k seems pretty low, I think you might be doing something wrong, always start activating the juicest ritual first. For me is very rare to have less than 10k tribute to spend. That said, you should stop deferring and start phase 2 based on how comfortable you feel while keeping deferring. If you suspect you can't have around 5k tribute after the last reroll you should have already switched to phase 2. You really need to have "a feeling" for it. Experience makes perfect

Is there something I am missing, I'm only getting 6~10k tributes while doing all the steps got 12k only one time and mostly 6k. There seems to be so little monsters in rituals I dont get it.
Arbitrary Tenets will increase prices up to double the initial price but it will reduce prices down to 1/5 of the initial price. Meaning the most expensive items will just more expensive, while the cheapest rolls will be dirt cheap.

This means that if one of those "best" items would normally be in the upper left, but it gets reduced to 0 by the atlas passive, it will then be as far bottom right as possible. It is of course extremely rare that this could happen to something really valuable and it get pushed off the window but it still scares me and I think is significant for people to know.

Adiv orb happened to be 0 for me, so it does happen! I always peek at the end just to make sure im not missing anything, as at 0 it wont pop up.

ritual vessels are quite cheap, i would say buying them from the auction house and ignoring the splinters in rituals would save a lot of time and headache.
This is also a viable way, I personally didn't mind picking up splinters so I went for that route instead

One thing that i didn't notice mentioned in the video is that additional eater/exarch packs will also be captured within rituals.

very good presentation. Going to take a few reviews to completely digest everything. one wish and few questions. Would be nice to have a worksheet in a "Dark Mode" option. The mechanic of the blood filled vessels is glossed over. If you defer the splinters until phase 2, how do you get vessels to fill in phase 1? How many vessels is enough for phase 2? Or do you buy splinters during phase 1 until you have X stored tribute filled vessels.
Simply put, you start phase 1 with zero vessels from scratch, then you start farming some (you can get easily more than 1 per map, often times 2). Sustaining them in phase 1 is trivial
TIL - tribute is not saved across maps, or is it use it or loose it. So defer/ buy splinters with last tribute. I think this is where I missed the ball. Spending the tribute does not effect collecting the blood
i do not understand how youtubers like ziz become famous. they put barely any effort into their videos, and are lacking so much information. just like in runescape, if you want to get proper information look for a small creator. thanks for that great video

A neat trick for ritual bases : you can use the recombinator to increase the ilvl of your ritual base (recombinator split 50/50 the ilvl of both items). So no need to farm t17 to generate high item lvl bases. ••Edit : ilvl formula seems to be avg of both item +2 and not 50/50 split (base on sirgog recomb guide)

You can lure map bosses into the ritual area and they will appear and give tributtes. I use this in city square map to gurantee 3 bosses everytime.

You can also roll twinned map bosses for double the tribute for the map. There won't be two copies in the vessel though.

Good video! Do you know if legion monsters will appear when you activate a ritual even if the legion was never popped? I assume you have to actually do the legion but did you test this?

Great video.I cant really go to phase 2, coz i kinda get all items with defering.but this is how i run the maps - just roll City Square for map have 2 bosses. no 8 mods or so.I removed legion and took deli on the tree.kill the bosses in the ritual = 16-20k tribute every map.

technically breach monster are present in the circle when you open the map they're just invisible , you can tell they're pre spawned sometimes when you see a weird partially transparent spot on the map (it's a breach boss) that being said i don't think they respawn in ritual regardless

2:45 well, I can lure the spider from toxic sewer to the circle and it counts for blood vessel but not sure if it counts for tribute, but she respawns throughout all other rituals

Sad, it is pretty common to do such mistakes :(
A couple of things I found myself and from different sources:
1. Always rush the boss, since if there's an altar spawn with the boss it will give significantly more tribute for this map
2. There seems to be a limitation on how many extra enemies can be captured by the ritual, that's maybe why sometimes the boss does not always spawn with the later ritual as it might get overwritten by other minions(Need more tries but that's my experience so far)
3. There's a moving blue ring spawn with every altar, stay in the ring and see it becomes golden. Some say it increases the tribute but I couldn't feel a significant difference
4. Maybe not good idea to have Singular Focus, as it would block non-favourite T16 map drops, and those could turn into T17 maps by Voidstones. Have 12 favourite spots for Glacier should mostly be fine for map sustain, also T16 maps are dirt cheap already
I agree on almost everything you said. Rushing the Boss is very important. You need to activate the juiciest Altars first. As for the number of monsters from the Altars, it is indeed very limited and RNG-gated. In fact, the Blood-Filled Vessels provide more Tribute than normal Ritual because they have 20% more maximum monsters alive! As for the Ritual Scarab of Wisp I experimented with my positioning. I had a vague impression that if I stand inside the Wildwood Circles I get more Tribute, but visibility isn't that great and tbh I am very unsure about how this works. I agree that maybe Singular Focus is too much. I almost always leave it up because I really like to experiment a lot and often times I don't complete Maps when I record videos, so my sustain is very bad.
@@Exosta standing inside the circle from Ritual Scarab of Wisps makes a huge difference, you get 70% increased tribute while in the circle. I tested some botched runs where I didn't spec into shrines and the monster numbers were really small. The difference was like 5-7k tribute without the scarab to 10-12k with it. The only problem is that you can't see the damn thing most of the time and it likes to jump away when you get inside it. I died many times while trying to spin around the ritual and find the circle. I think it would've been better if the circle itself empowered the monsters like the wildwood mechanic does so you could just hit them and not have to play the annoying minigame of finding the circle all the time (that's also how many people including me expected it to work when reading it the first time). It's the only thing keeping me from fully enjoying RItual.

This might be a dumb question but are monsters listed in any particular order on the blood-vessel? Sometimes I have one generate on the last alter and even though there were a bunch of unique monsters in the encounters they often come with none mentioned at the top whereas others will list them.
In the case that there are none, are they still worth using for the buff? Because, imma be real, I've tossed the blanks. :3
Also, I've noticed that the drop rewards seem to deplete over the course of the encounters when it comes to unique mobs. Is this just RNG doing its thing or do the diminishing returns of their tribute also impact their loot table?
IE: I run T8 Twinned City Square ritual a lot in SSF since I am not jacked and the first couple of alters with the bosses it's unique city but by the last one it's pretty bare bones.

The gold isn't bad. It is prob better than the passive gold from some of other strats since you get the mob gold and then the ritual itself will drop additional gold when completed.
I get roughly 15k-20k per map. I am running 8 mod maps, the 3 cheaper ritual scarabs, 1 elder influence scarab, eater of worlds, and 1 domination scarab.

If you slain Unique enemies that were originally positioned inside the Altar Circle, they can be captured
12:09 but sometimes you get random reward with 0 tribute cost(free), and its allways in bottom right. its moved from left top(divine orb for example) to right bottom. is it mean if you have more rewards ritual window can have - you can lost ur divines\mirror\some sweets coz of it?
This is a very good point you raised there. That is why I looted very few 0 cost items. This is a 1.25% chance for the reward to be free, which is really a small chance. I also think that the value you get by using 2x Ritual Scarab of Abundance far exceeds the possible loss derived from those 0 cost items being lost.
It seemed to me that any item could be 0 cost, regardless of position... I am pretty sure I already got 0 cost jewels that were right in the middle of the window.

3:20 can you explain what you do with shrines like how it works? Do you ativate shrines kill monsters than open ritual? Same with legion how it works? Is opening ritual order matter and how so?
You first kill the monsters from Shrines and Legion, and if they are were spawned inside the Ritual circle they will be respawned by the Ritual as well
Did you test legion and ritual yourself? Im pretty sure there was a changelog way back in the days saying this interaction was fixed and i recall i tested it like 2 leagues back and i didnt managed to get any legion monsters into ritual.
I tested it and I noticed monsters inside the Ritual coming from Legion, also when I use the Blood-Filled Vessels they are much juicer.

Hello there i actually farmed the ritual this past few days i do it city Square map some times i don't spawn ritual in boss but i tried to lure it to the ritual besides the boss and got significant boost in the favor actually i also put ritual vessel to the first finished ritual with the lured boss and i captured them in the vessel i don't know but when i did that with out luring them i got significantly lower tributes but when i lure them they spawn and i got more tribute
This is the second report I get of this behavior, which is really interesting. I still think that luring Bosses takes a bit of time but that's a cool finding
@@Exosta I also run city square and when i lure boss to ritual and kill it in ritual circle it guarantees spawn 100% times (did 50+ map) after i start that ritual . And then it sometimes spawn on 2nd ritual and sometimes even on 3rd one.
But when i dont lure bosses it spawn in ritual maybe only 25-50% times.
So this is established fact that luring boss guarantees spawn in 1st ritual cause i ran 50 maps with luring and it spawned all 50 times.
12:15 that is wrong , the extra items you get with almost no tribute cost , those that appear at the bottom rigth(sometimes cost 0 tribute ) can be expensive , i found a stack of 5 div for 0 cost at bottom left , and i also find a kalandra´s toouch in that place too , looks like the extra items you get from all the scarabs/atlas passives are just shuffled into the tab
Yes the sentence was not correct because I did not think of the 0 cost possibility. I still think that maximg Ritual Scarab of Abundance has more value than the value you may lose from some 0 cost items that fall out of the window
Well, very intresting. Ill be blunt for a bit. You have an heavy accent for example, 'respawning' thats not how you prenounce it at all. However due to the context and also the illustrations on the screen i dont have to rewind to figure out what you are saying. This keeps the flow in the presentation which is very important to retain attantion and well simply put i subsribed.

Sadly my game crashes when I try to do a ritual with 4 blood filled vessel. Like not even error "The Game stopped working" messeage it just freeze and close itself.

Why do you need expensive gear to farm rituals? You can get very good gear on standard for very cheap, it's only the truly broken stuff that's really expensive.
You don't need Magic Find for Ritual, you can use any strong build without spending a lot
so considering scarab of abundance have shot up to 2 for 1d in std, do you think its worth buying at that price? I am finding that i am sort of losing currency as i cant keep up with the current scarab prices for this strat right now

Example I have 5 splinters already in reserve in the first window with no valuable items, do I defer them again or reroll and reserve the it for the possible items on the next window. or I keep deferring them as much as i can?

I'm not so sure about the kiting monsters into the ritual not respawning...
I run City Square and whenever there is no ritual on top of the bosses I kite them into the nearest ritual and they do respawn.
I am skeptical about this, I think it is hard to perform. I tried to the same with Delirium Bosses and they were not respawned. However it is possible that map bosses work differently!

When the ritual doesn't spawn in the boss room i get very low amount of tribute, something like 6 to 8 k and deferring can get very costly, what to do in this case?
6-8k seems pretty low, I think you might be doing something wrong, always start activating the juicest ritual first. For me is very rare to have less than 10k tribute to spend. That said, you should stop deferring and start phase 2 based on how comfortable you feel while keeping deferring. If you suspect you can't have around 5k tribute after the last reroll you should have already switched to phase 2. You really need to have "a feeling" for it. Experience makes perfect

Yes, bases are all cheap, you can only get ilvl86 by recombinating
The thing about all rituals being in the second part of the map is not correct. I have spawned them many times in the first part...

I think that 6000 may not be needed after all, it depends on your Atlas Passive Tree design. But hard to prove this kind of things
Arbitrary Tenets will increase prices up to double the initial price but it will reduce prices down to 1/5 of the initial price.
Meaning the most expensive items will just more expensive, while the cheapest rolls will be dirt cheap.
