Harvest always was one of my favorite mechanics! Hope this guide will help you to get the most our of it. Watch me test stuff live - www.twitch.tv/ronarray
I have a dilemma/scenario that I'd like you to help with. So, my last 2 groups of plants, one group is yellow and blue, the other is both yellow. Should I take the yellow that is paired with the blue before going to my last set, or ONLY take yellow on your very last set? I guess, if there is more than one group of yellows, do you take yellow at all before the last?
Harvest memory farming was definitely profitable for me. I made about 1-1.5div profit each memory when yellow juice was still 8500/1div. It's great for beginners who don't want to deal with buying maps and scarabs.
Scarab of risk would brick SO many builds. So many build breaking things can come off of it, phys reflect, ele reflect, monsters steal charge(if you don't use ralakesh), reduced chance to block, no recovery, reduced recovery (map mod effect from atlas will just turn this into no recovery anyway). I wonder what kind of a build can handle 3 * risk on a tier 17 consistently. It has to brick at least half the maps.
Deaths oath can do it, miners can do it although sometimes it's painful, pure ele damage attack builds can do it, since awakened ele damage with attack makes you reflect immune, elementalist can also be reflect immune. Chaos dot builds in general can do it. No recovery can be bypassed by life/mana on hit/kill. But yes even with these builds sometimes you'll just randomly keel over.
Well, I runned x4 risks at Bleed lacerate (need to swap body armor if reflect OR off malevolence if no leech). But overall Risk spam is the main strategy for any quantity related drops now. You can go for other setups if your build cant handle it - there are plenty in the video.
I used this strat this entire league. About 300 maps now on T16 8 mod corrupted. Used awakening and crop rotation. This strat is not the get rich quick way as you sometimes brick maps due to making harvest mobs like and exodia lol sometimes you also get 3 crops which is bad. There's a whole lot of lows but highs will compensate it. One disadvantage of this strat is the price of awakening scarab, it will eat almost all your result. TLDR: Harvest with CR is great, fun and engaging but awakening scarab is pricey. You can't afford to brick even 1 map to alteast compensate the total cost. You also need to do alot of maps to get better result with CR as results will not be consistent, maybe 30 maps then sell. The more the better
Yea, I dont think Awakening is worth this league currently. You need yellow dust to be selling for 1/25-30 and right now its roughly 1/42-45. Just keep it smaller scale imo and use Harvest Scarab of Doubling. Significantly better cost/profit ratio.
I think the Twist of Fate atlas skill is a strong one for Harvest if you can run all map modifiers with your build or have a second char that can deal with mods your main char can not. I often see maps with 250%+ quantity and up to 99% pack size with this atlas skill and it can get even higher with influence altars. If you use it with a Vaal Temple map it even keeps the 10 vaal vessels after the map gets randomized.

i just don't get how people use cartography scarab of risk... If you get both "monsters cannot be leeched from" and "players cannot regenerate life, mana and energy shield" how do you run it? I can't think of a single build that can run it, it basically bricks the map and all the scarabs you used...
Any build you recommend to be able to run maps with Risk without so many problems? My build has a problem with the reflects, so if I get one of those I would have to lose the scarabs.
Miners are king for starter/early farm, icicle Deadeye, locus mine, hexblast in top. Because they can farm most mod like chaos builds, so just start melee for 'fun'.
Chaos zoomancer is dealing with everything except no mana regen, and even then sometimes it’s no problem. All reflects and no life regen OR no life leech is OK.

There is no requirements for Favor maps, scarabs depends on the strategy (there are a few different ones with one atlas so I cant fit it there - sorry.)
What would you replace scarab of risk with if your melee build can’t handle it? I honk there are 5 mods in t16 that brick me. I tried like 4 scarabs of doubling too but didn’t notice much of a difference :)
Only 1 Scarab of Doubling can work at the same time, they are limited. I would run Horde, Linage probably or would combine Harvest with some other mechanics to fill the slots.
You can use: Influencing Scarab of Conversion (cheap - random guardian map) Sulphite Scarab (cheap - use Mining Byproducts and/or Packed with Energy - sell resonators) Domination Scarab (cheap - faster mapping till the grove and u gain a few dense packs that drop a bit of gold too) Imo best thing is rush to the grove, use Cr! no pillars no nothing. even Horde scarab makes u run around the map to find an extra pillar for an extra 20% quantity that at 300% quantity has diminishing returns on drop amount. More profit in that case is not more juice per map. It is more juice per hour. Running at 2min/map for average of 20 maps per hour (100% achievable) can deterministically net you over 10d++ profit per hour. Buy bulk 8-mods from TFT/ use doubling -> rush grove -> profit

i prefer to choose less red plants instead of the yellows in your crop rotation tree. with your tree you get alot of harvest without a single yellow plant
For crop rotation you always need to lower amount of yellows - otherwise you will get 3+ yellows and will be unable to stack buff them. I'm glad it is working for you but it was like that for ages.
