I ended up running this strategy on City Square after the Beach Map test and I liked that layout a lot better. It also currently has a more valuable T17 map drop associated with it. I have personally been avoiding Jungle Valley, as I want to kill the boss for map drops but hate waiting around ~30 seconds for the Spooder to spawn in. However that would be a good choice from an altar perspective.
This is one of the best strats i've ever played, i am getting so many t17 map drops, expensive scarabs drops, maps, eldritch, etc, this strat covers so many things - You wanna have fun and go zoom zoom? blast through the screen? Get T17 map drops? Get Scarab drops? Get insane rewards from the Altar? Get rich? Clear maps easily using shrines? Play this tree, it is Awsome.

This is what I’ve done all league myself. To add more value since you are killing so many monsters, grab a bunch of scarab or harbinger incubators, can buy in bulk for less than 1c each. If you have a heist trinket that’s an extra spot you can put incubators on too.
So glad to see someone going to the basics of an arpg, which is killing mobs and getting loot from mobs. Not a time gated mechanic…Having to buy chiesels is mind blowing that ms how bad the loot is this league. People getting more mirror shards with ships rather than harbingers for exemple… how stupid is that.
@@vincegaming2434the past few leagues it definitely feels like killing lots of monsters for profit is something ggg is intentionally trying to make uncompetitive in the market economy, but I will never stop doing it! Haven’t even touched westmarch and I’m at 14 mirror shards. Gotta make a mirror one time before poe1 dies 😅
Been doing this with red altars pretty much all league. Just not as efficiently. Sometimes no scarabs at all. Totally overlooked the magic monsters on that divi card. Really informative video. Subbed and looking forward to more vids =)
I've been doing something similar in Mesa. It's got a good layout where you can kill the boss quickly and naturally drops the fortunate, which is a decent div card.
I was running very similar strategy earlier in the League but except of div scarabs was using Elder, Adversaries and Hunted Traitors and no Beyond. I wasn't absolutely blasting them like you did so they took longer. And I also scryed Divine Beauty on same Jungle Valley map just like you did. It was decent but didn't felt like 10 Div/hour. But when you get Grand embers or some other good altars you get a lot from that map.
nice i did this but with one carto of escalation for extra t17 drops since i was running 8 mods anyways and sometimes throw maybe one multitudes or hunted traitors that i collected just running the strat most of the time, pretty decent great for HH builds
I've been running a similar strat on city square, adding betrayal to it (catarina's been giga profitable for me), tried to tech in your strat (mainly scarabs, alongside the betrayal scarab for intelligence), it's a lot more fun since packs are gigadense :) also, what's good in this strat for me is that I can run all the mods with the exception of less recovery one, so I generally don't even need to roll maps, I just chisel-alc-vaal them, dump everything below 25 packsize and those with the aforementioned mod to my mappers and just go
I've been using this strategy for a while, and I love it. The thing is, I don't believe the added mobs drop extra divination cards, or that they drop them at all. What they do is leaving behind some annoying floating books that smack really hard if you stay around.

with a well rolled ventors and a few other MF gear items I get about 30k gold per map running dunes. If you are trying to get more gold, it seems like the best way to do it for cheap.
How do you choose between 2 Altar nodes? I know the rough value of some bubble gum currency, but divcards which reward unique weapon or div cards that do y, I have no grasp on what is good here and what is bad, also a quick google search didn't answer that question for me. Is there a ranking of altar options? Any reply is appreciated.
From highest priority to lowest priority: Minions drop Grand Embers Minions drop Scarabs Minions drop Greater Embers Minions drop Gemcutter Prisms Minions drop Chaos Orbs Minions drop Cartography Chisels Player gains increased Quantity / Rarity Player gains duplicated divination cards Player gains duplicated scarabs Player gains duplicated maps Player gains duplicated basic currency Minions drop Divination Cards Minions drop low cheap currency (Unmaking, Regrets, Vaal, Enkindling, Instilling Orbs) Player gains duplicated Uniques In general, I focus on giving minions items that are worth around 1c+, after that item quantity/rarity or duplication. If you're a big gambler you can focus Minions drop Divination Cards (especially Jewelery) for shot at something like an Apothecary.
no matter what i do, i cant get beyond mobs to proc. selected all the nodes, had it on the map and beyond option selected on the not a single spawn. this happened 2 leagues ago too. couldn't get any to spawn. just ran 40 maps and go nowhere NEAR the amount of drops. missing 1 map slot shouldn't make that much of a difference. Still cant get beyond to spawn.
I was just chisel and alch/scour until I got maps that my build could run and they had at least 75% quant. If your build can handle most modifiers, vaaling and going for 8mod maps is going to be better.
I am new to end game and what not. But god, I want to do this strategy so bad... But my current build definitely can't do this. I currently have about 20 divines. What would be a good build to try this? I guess I will reroll haha.
@@Jbravo408 Thanks for the recommendation! Was actually a coin toss for me between LS slayer and archmage ico nova heiro. Ended up being the heiro! But may still try the LS slayer. Which/Who's version would you recommend? Some I saw needed like 100 div investment. Really only want to spend 30-50.
@@BantersM There are many LSS builds out there...i just prefer the tankier versions. I went with Harold's crit ls, build is built around the Svalin shield.

All league monsters have significantly less loot so the shrines and beyond are the least important part of the strat and should be able to be repurposed to anything else that you feel like running, the shrine nodes themselves however are really nice with the nodes that increase duration and add extra buffs. Things that buff the natural spawn or add packs that are not considered league specific will add the most loot/gold. We don't know if the packs added by the scarabs have had their loot stripped in the same way that league monsters did.
Please, do not spread wrong info. I suggest you read the 3.25.0 patch notes again carefully. "All league monsters have significantly less loot ". This is false. Some monster got changed/adjusted, but not what you state.
Tried it early on, but if you're at the budget where you're on replica, you probably don't have chaos resist and the books will smash you, and the mods don't last long enough (20s).
So I ran this strat for 40 maps on Jungle Valley with Divine Beauty scry'd, the first 30 maps were abysmal and barely broke even, but then the last 10 my luck changed and I ended up getting similar results to Telvanni, except my 4 Divine Beauties, 1 of them was duped, so only had 3 drop technically. Its funny my wealthy exile is a flat line into a sudden mountain xD I also had a gold flask and a rarity corruption on my ring but didn't seem to help much, and another addition I also didn't get a natural divine drop
Why are you adding your favorited maps? If you're going to run them then they aren't income. Also, you can't count anything that hasn't sold as income. Take a day or two, sell the stuff you aren't going to use, then tell me what your actual income is. If it doesn't sell, it's not income.
Because he included them in the cost. So basically the same thing. Either remove 4c per map (160c) cost of the setup and include them in the final numbers, OR, remove that cost from the setup and remove from the income. Either way he has it listed fairly.

Yes, this is bait. It's so bad that if you have large stacks of any of the scarabs used in this, you should sell them for rock bottom prices, preferably regularly. If you don't want to waste the gold on the market, I'd be happy to buy them directly from you (minus a small handling and processing fee).

Important note, you need to cap your chaos res, else the div scarab mobs will kill you every time they spawn there lil totems on death
Even with Chaos res capped they still 2-3 shot me with those shurikens or whatever lol

I've done almost this exact same strat, but I added in Jun for big ticket drops from Gravicius in transportation. Also betrayal gives decent exp.

I play console also, the market is just insane right now. Trying to find a low investment option thats viable is next to impossible.

Testing this on Dunes rn, not bad tbh, altho not as much Eldritch altars as I expected
And Scarabs of Plenty are now traded 4-5c each ingame... 2c in bulk, but people are not replying. 😅

Those divination mobs' books one shot me way too often. Explain
The projectiles shotgun and overlap and you aren't chaos res capped. Just an overturned mechanics, they're in every league at this stage
They do chaos damage. It's the one thing that kills me in there if I don't move around.

LS slayer is easy peasy...I rerolled from a earthshatter jug that I really struggled with constant deaths...The LS slayer is a breeze so far..

whatever the giant flying purple squares are that spawn from the scarabs are wrecking me, I gave up on this. Good xp while it worked though.
A shoutout to builds that can use replica headhunter while using this strategy.
