    Aim Lab gives players a number of exercises for improving different aspects of aiming with a mouse. You can work on improving your flick responses, your precision on moving targets, and your reaction times on unpredictable targets that require only minor aiming adjustments.
    It can make someone who is mediocre at the game into a great FPS player. So, I decided to find this out for myself through a bit of a challenge. Over the past few years, Aim trainers have gained a lot of popularity. And whether you just want to play your game of choice without getting completely steam-rolled, or you want to start making crazy highlight reels of your aim-bot level skill, aim trainers have probably caught your attention in the past.
    But there's still universal hesitation around aim trainers, especially the free ones like Aim Labs. So, I suck at aiming to know how much improvement could you realistically expect over just 10 days.

      I play 8h/day for less than 1 week (5 or 6 days) and i go for 57k on gridshot to 93k and i notice it works when you are new or your aim is not that good and you become more consistent in you shots. The bad thing is if you stop training or you train in the game you are going to play (like the workshop of overwatch and csgo) you are going to be worst on aimlabs. Literally I was platinum on overwatch and when I start aimlabs I reach diamond but when I started to practice on the game playing and pushing my self and I got close gm but I got worst on aimlabs.
      I recommend aimlabs and kovaks if you are new on a game or your aim is not that good cus you are going to be better and more consistent in general aspects of your aim, but I think the best option js practicing on the game cus every game has they own game style and hit boxes.

    Can I just say that 1 month of aim training 1 hour everyday is way more beneficial than 3 hours for 10 days

    • @eathletelabs
      @eathletelabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +387

      Yes of course! That being said I think for those just testing out aim training, it's easier to commit to a 10-day challenge than 30 days, so I think it's a good starting place for those "testing the waters".

      i think it does not matter how long u train, because some people get bored easily for this kind of training and more enjoy playing matchmaking. the more training u do the bettrr ur aim, however its not help in game like csgo and valorant because its required crosshair placement and movement which is as important as aiming

    New aim trainers: I've been going for 7 hours the last 5 days, gridshot went from 50 to 75k, but that's not a good practice for aiming, just a benchmark. In my main game of apex, my shots have been better, but I need to focus on harder tasks and finding the right mouse grip, seating position, arm position, and consistency with those aspects. 1hr weekdays, 30 mins before 30 mins after gaming, and 2 hrs on weekend. 2hrs should be your max session

    It's important to note that training is still training! My key to improving aim if a decipline is still hard for me like tracking, I would spend more time in tracking than spamming gridshot for "trigger happy."

    • @tempestindustries9446
      @tempestindustries9446 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im learning to focus on my tracking since its my worst consistent skill cuz i jerk too much due to the amount of flick shots i do and am used to smgs and shotguns and straight on fights. Though im learning throwing in a couple semi easy gridshots really refreshes the brain and gives me the dopamine hit i need to keep going while training my arm to have more stamina and have better reactions

    Love the video bro. I've been using Kovaaks for over a year. It wasn't until recently that I found a community named Voltaic that created their own scenarios and ranking system for the exercises. I can say with confidence that if you do the right scenarios you can improve very quickly. However, that doesn't include the amount of you training you have to do for in-game mechanics (i.e. counterstrafing for Val, movement drills for apex, etc.). Love the videos. Keep up the good work.

    I feel like Linetrace and Multilinetrace are underrated.
    Start with them and then go to Spidershot, Reflexshot, Microshot, Motionshot and so on which are pretty similar just without the lines.
    It's also fun to grind Linetrace, switch to a different Flicking task and get a new highscore right away.

    As someone who has somewhat decent aim, I can say that aimlab is something that can't be used to improve EVERY aspect of your aim. Rather improve your ability to just hit a target or stay consistent in hitting a target. However you can't not play the game you want to get better at and still get better at it. Because every FPS game has unique movement systems that you need to learn to adapt and track to. Not to mention the fact that aim trainers give you an obvious target. Trying to use that in a normal FPS game will get you demolished. In conclusion, aimlab CAN be helpful as long as you use it for the right types of aim training, and you should always practice your aim on the game itself rather than exclusively on the aim trainer

    • @peregrine3400
      @peregrine3400 ปีที่แล้ว

      I definitely agree. A lot of the difficulty in games is simply the amount of things that distract a person, something that I found getting in the way of training my aim. I'd often compensate using other mechanics like movement and it didn't allow me to focus on training basic tracking as much as I needed to.

I just started aim training every day again a couple weeks ago and I'm seeing very quick improvement. The biggest thing I have learned through over 1,200 hours in aim trainers is exactly what you said in the video: You HAVE to challenge yourself. Aim trainers are good for honing aspects of certain skills you will be utilizing in game, but you need to actually throw yourself out there into many different games to get the full effect. It is important to experience the trial and error that comes with competing against other players, do not expect to go in and instantly flick on everyone after only a few days of training, it is a long process and it takes a while to actually be able to apply the skills you have honed using aim trainers.

    I will be doing just Aimlabs for a month(maybe just a bit of range in VALORANT) as i dont wanna focus on competitive VALORANT coz of exams
    so is it helpful and how far can i go considering the results in the video?My flicking accuracy is pretty decent(15-20 scores on hard bots)

    I remember in counter strike source, I had a server with bots that doesn't shoot purely for aim training. I still enjoy remembering how those who used the server far surpass those who laughed it off. Learning to aim only for the head, and recoil control. It takes patience because only perfect practice will yield results though, and those who didn't take that to heart ended up worse or no improvement.

    Holy, I training over 3 years, not get this result of your 10 days, it’s very bad for me, but I won’t losing hope what I will become ultra aimer, that I can be better than Levitation (A TH-cam channel with a guy who has better aim than shroud) and be on top. But I want some advice. But I have one question, you just trained over 10 days without playing shooters or you played but not showed it only at the end of the video? And how to know my weakness and strong sights?

    Hoping Aim Trainers help me to improve at aiming. I just started yesterday, training on Aim Lab and I am constantly challenging myself to the limit. Wishing for the time I come back in Valorant I'll be able to play like pro players. I am training for 4 hrs per day, 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the afternoon.

    I haven't used aim labs or any aim trainer myself, but I have only recently come back to pc after a 15 year hiatus. But I find even very basic shooting ranges in some fps games are worth spending some time with. I was playing back for blood the other day, and I was waiting for my mate to start the game. I spent the time just trying to hit all targets in quick sequence with only head shots. I tried a few other guns as well in the mix and started to enjoy it quiet abit. When the game started I just started hitting consistent head shots and weak points with absolute easy. I also have gotten pretty fast with movement by playing games like doom eternal and severed steel, dusk etc etc. And this last week everything started to fall into place all at once. Now I'm pretty damn fast and accurate, but I know I could do better and maybe hit that more pro level I see often. I wanna start playing Cs again, but I feel like I'm not quiet ready for the big leagues lol. I do like playing about on quake champions though! And have definitely started to become a problem for the enemy team, but damn 😳 some people on here are gods. I think it really depends on the game for me, because I'm either really good or not quiet good enough to get a strong kd.

    the things is that aim trainer does really help you if you have an experience with fps for around 1 year or 2 years or maybe even more its just a matter of experience most people that goes into aim training is that people who want to get better and out aim and out duel people in their games. on the other hand if you are pretty new to the fps games with using a mouse and hop on to an aim trainer and expect to top frag every game is something you can't do without experience. its like saying you have the aim yet you don't have the movements or the game sense to actually back it up.

    doing aim labs gridshot ultimate 15 reps( 15 minutes ) before launching an FPS . Sure helps a lot. Been playing shooters since i was like 1th grade kid sniping at de_snipe_it5, but still when i started aim labs as it first launched i couldn't get more than 50k on gridshot. Now im starting my warm up with 80 and finish around 90-92. I rarely do the other routines, i jump straight into games after those 15 minutes of gridshot. Muscle memory and reflex is improving and stuff, but it is not as much of an improvement as it is for your brain and how it operates while you're shooting and most people don't realise it and expecting results after doing couple of days training is just naive. View it as both physical and psychical training, instead of just physical and you will see progress to your overall shooting.
