Wanted to thank you……on one of your videos you removed a bolt that was cross threaded and before it got ruined you took tap n die and fixed both the bolt and the frame nut. I encountered the same problem yesterday and I remembered your instructions….fixed both within a few minutes……thanks again …. I am learning from you.
Dam Jake I never would have known, thought it was shot like this just to show off the suspension. Remember it's not a real shakedown if you don't get stuck at least once. So consider this test a success.
If I had to guess that truck is a mid 2000s F150 with the overhead cam 5.4L. The front door looks to have the odd ford window dip to see out the mirrors. The rear door/window is pretty much square so not a nissan frontier or tacoma. And not a chevy because of the overhead cam engine.
@ it's definitely a gen one raptor. Can tell by the cam gear on the motor and the front bumper and rear tow hook on passenger side of hitch. Also has method 305 wheels on it lol.
you can still recover videos from that formatted SD card. As long as you didn't use the SD card after formatting, you should be able to get all of the videos from there. Try recuvva from piriform, it's my go to basic recovery tool.

Gotta make sure people can still be jealous of the illusive unicorn.😅 Love the clean look personally and hate advertising for companies on my property with most other decal kits. I can tell the suspension is tight af now and super helpful for the off-road stuff...absolutely perfect "mod" you did.....wish I'd have done that to my WR2FIDY before my 2nd cali trip honestly.... and....HELL YES you ARE doing the trip on the 300!!! (take the high road......66 mate!) ;) have fun fighting the wind of New Mexico and Arizona in a CONSTANT 5th-6th gear battle on the 300..... (Serious advice) "Dead bolt" your chain so there is no master link if you haven't already....and if you are running a master link.....bring a 4 pack of "full set" masters and 4 extra additional retention clips. People like to try and sabotage your journey by popping retention clips.....(coughs) Cyrus with a chopper or muscle dummy car, white trash that "compliments" your bike or asks "how much is one of them worth mang" and anyone with an ohio plate (coughs)..........shhhhhhhhh ;) Always remember to take off ALL accessories (mounts or bases for mounts mainly) And dude, I'm calling it now.....if you're leaving in dual sport trim....you are gonna need a new rear tire by the time you get to oh idk...... Flagstaff or Pheonix depending on your route?? and maaaaaybe a new chain while on the way back round abouts Albuquerque or Las Cruces if you don't rev match EVERY SINGLE DOWNSHIFT YOU MAKE ON THE WHOLE TRIP ...... If you see a dust storm ahead and you think you can clear the valley ahead of you before it gets to you - YOU WON'T - Pull tafuq over and wait because borderline F1-F2 tornado sized dust devils ARE inside of those things at RANDOM and the winds are 50-75Mph CONSTANT ......... I wonder if they make a fork boot to help keep dirt out of the fork seals, I've seen a few people have problems with the seals blowing out and in your suspension rebuild video you had some dirt in your seals, I think a fork boot would greatly improve the reliability.
I dont get it it , so many reviews say the CRF300L is the best dual sport out there but everyone says the suspension sucks. Why buy it if you have to put ~ $1500 into to a suspension upgrade? Why not just buy the KLX300?
The KLX300 comes with better suspension stock, but nowhere near as good as an upgraded CRF, so it still needs upgrading. Might as well save the upfront money. Plus the Honda has more power, better instruments, better gearbox, ABS option . You don't need to spend $1500. The suspension upgrade on my CRF250 Rally cost me $900 including tax and professional installation.
Honda is a Honda that’s why. This bike has the cbr300 motor and some people have gotten 100k miles from there bikes.. so suspension is just one small drawback
suspension noticeably gooder then stock? just put a hyperpro spring on the rear and forks off waiting on racetech kit fer the front... and the snow to melt here in canada eh...

I got a MotoX pipe for my CRF300L, Im pretty sure its just a FMF Powercore Q4 pipe for the 300L and it sounds and preforms great (you gotta get a heat shield for it tho cause it dosnt come with one)
I’m trying to avoid the MotoX since it’s a knock off fmf. I’m sure it’s well made and makes good power. Just with what I do and companies I work with it’s not a good look if that makes sense.
Nice little adventure, but not really much of a suspension test. Now my recent content being a complete MX Virgin and taking my 460lb KTM 790 Adventure S to the sandy Motocross track at Lazy Springs MX and bumping into MotoBroo Lars however... 😎
I’ve ripped around those trails with stock suspension a few times and all you can think about is the suspension. This time I just got to ride, hardly thought about it at all. But I went to an off road park on Thursday and filmed it. They use to do Red Bull last man standing out there so it’s pretty legit. I think that will count as a proper test!
GETT A EXHAUST and header i feel like it would sounds just so much better and pair it with a ecu tune and power commander and a nice air filter you will fly .
I still don't miss my CRF 250L. Having over 100 hp on a bike is way too addictive. I did get a Seat Concepts seat for my 12 Super Tenere. Can't wait to try it out.
🤷♂️ I bought it at the gas station. They got it from the Dallas fuel refinery. Doubt they know where it comes from. I worked at a gas station for four years and couldn’t tell you where our gas came from.

Squished? It’s wide screen but I’m not distorting it or cutting off any top or bottom to get there. Imagine the normal 16x9 with more on the sides.
