The Washington commanders need a program like that
Which season and episode is this one?
Super realistic! Cops who don’t know the law 😂
BB guns are toys not guns 😂
How can you "buy back" something you never owned?
Women Sargents like that is the reason crime is so bad.
Good ideas
Great job
🙏
😂😂😂😂😂😂 that too in Chicago
Roman played in an episode of Law & Order SVU
What episode is this?
yes finally we see main characters getting into trouble for the crap pulled
@@gokuandmario4ever and what if they were wrong or worst what if they found evidence that leads to a killer but because they didn't do it by the book the gun and evidence are thrown out in court. they disobeyed a direct order, found a woman that dropped off a gun into a no questions asked buyback program and then they both lied to the woman on why they were there.
and trying to do what they felt was right is a lousy excuse because the same excuse can and is used by people who do horrible things. not saying what they did is horrible, just saying doing something because it feels right doesn't make it right
also, before someone comes in and says it. yes, i get it's a show so it isn't real but showing the consequences of doing things the wrong way is important to anyone who takes inspiration or looks up to these characters
@@gokuandmario4ever buybacks aren't the right thing to do
How is gun buy backs even legal, like it how dare you give my taxes back for my property
It's amazing how many people would bend over and drop pants for the cops if they asked
I wish CPD was not so understaffed and stretched thin with an overabundance of crime. Officers could actually do their jobs like this. Also the bureaucracy, beetlejuice has only made this cioty worse. Say what you will about Daley or Emmanuel, they were corrupt but not stupid.
3:04 just "float" the gun to homicide hahaha
2:42 - So basically the rules of the gun buy-back program, if followed, allow criminals to get easily get rid of guns that would tie them to a crime and the police will even do it for them, and pay them at the same time so they can put that money towards the purchase their next illegal gun for the next crime?
well duhh
Sounds like a gun laundrying scheme. Get your dirty guns cleaned by the police and go buy your next gun.
Besides that criminals don’t turn in their weapons, only law abiding citizens do
"We literally did not make a single statement that ended in a question mark."
*30 Seconds Earlier*
"Do you think we could maybe come in and exchange it for the other one?"
"Know what was weird about that puppy?"
How are writers this bad?
"Do you know what's weird about that puppy?"
😂 gun buy back….only in states like this smh
Burgess dont wanna smell stinky in patrol
Wow, refusing to solve an actual crime in favor of a silly buyback program
If I'm not mistaken, they stole this episode from BLUE BLOODS SEASON 2 NO QUESTIONS ASKED. A no questions asked gun buy back program. A gun that was used in a hostage situation with a customer getting shot but survived, ends up in the buy back program... it was taken to the program by the shooter's brother
"I just saw a tumble-weed." that's honestly kewl!!! Timestamp is 0:00 :) also, what color was it? I'm pretty sure they are usually brown, but, anyway :)
They need to explain it to Hank, he will update Platt and all is good. good clip!
No such thing as a “Jewels”.
It’s “Jewel”
It’s jewels
@@TheNinthHeart no. We just mistakenly add an “s” at the end: the way people also do for other Midwest chains like Kroger and Meijer.
Some Chicago grocery chains have ACTUALLY had an “s” at the end (Mariano’s and the now long-gone Dominick’s): but never Jewel.
It's not a buy back if you never sold the gun this is paid gun grab
Sadly they ended losing their jobs at the end that led to the series finale.
Buy Back? The police never sold me anything. How are they calling this a buy back?
Yes Trudy may have ashort fuse at some moments but the agents love breaking rules very much too.
