We’ve been using NFP our entire marriage of 7 years and I can’t imagine any other way. We’ve had 100% success for getting pregnant on the first try all 4 times and also have avoided pregnancy when needed with also 100% success. Thank you Kayla for speaking on this topic!!! I think so many women will benefit.
I've been using NFP for 2 years now and would never even dream of going back on the pill. I feel so empowered and in tune with my body now I know exactly what's happening at each point in my cycle! Thank you for sharing your experience 😊
Came here from today’s Q&A since I’m new and YES YES all of this! It’s so hard to talk about this in today’s society, so thank you. NFP isn’t easy, but it is so good.
LOVE THIS! ♥ I've been using the Sympto-thermal method for 3 years and have found it incredibly empowering and fascinating. We were trying to avoid pregnancy for 2 years and then switched to TTC. I knew so much about my cycle going in to TTC we were able to conceive on month #1! So happy you're loving it too 😊
So happy for you and your husband!!! Your growth together is truly AWESOME! God so clearly has had a hand in that! 💜 I hope you all continue to strive to do God’s Will!
NFP has been an amazing option for our family. We’ve been successful for 12 years and the times we did plan for our 2 kids it worked out perfectly. I would say as always proceed with caution, pay attention to your body as it changes because we’re now pregnant with #3 and it was a bit of a shock lol.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I remember watching this video a year ago and not understanding it at all. My husband and I have been on our own journey back to faith and the church over the past two months and I’ve gone off birth control for the first time in 14 years other than when we had our kids. And are currently looking for our own nfp coach. It’s interesting coming back to this video now that we’re on this journey also and it’s resonating so much now. I get it. And I appreciate you sharing it. ❤
This! I wish this is something my gynecologist would have discussed with me. I've felt so overwhelmed for a long time being pressured by doctors to take birth control hormones as if this was my only option. NFP only works to prevent pregnancy if you are very deliberate, but it is definitely a viable option! I want to feel healthy and avoid putting poisons into my body! :)
Kayla you KNOW I love this video!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I loved hearing your thoughts on the possibility of baby #3 because you know I’m thinking about that for us 24/7 🙃 Such great advice and perspective. So proud of you for going on this journey and for sharing about it to help others! ❤
I am currently going through this exact thing. I just found out having sex with condoms is a cardinal sin and I feel so convicted. Im excited to glorify the lord & try NFP. Thank u for sharing your journey 💕
Birth control really messed with my hormones and I hated jt. I been doing NFP for 13years and it’s the best thing. I don’t have any friends or family who do NFP and when I mentioned it to my friend she kind of laughed at me. Like she never heard about it. Most ppl thing it won’t work and will have unplanned pregnancies. I’m so glad you are sharing your experience and educating others about NFP.
Hubs and I are not religious at all, and are in fact very science based. NFP makes sense to us, and has been successful during our times of trying for children (2 beautiful boys later!), as well as preventing unwanted pregnancies during our 8 years together. Now that we are finished having children, the snip is in my hubs future and he is 100% on board!
Thank you so much for making this video! Very helpful and informative. My question is if you are both open to whatever happens at this point, what is the point of NFP? If you’re not trying but also not preventing, why not just skip all the tracking and just be intimate whenever?
Thanks so much for making this video! I do have a device for checking temps and it gives you the "green light" or "red light" lol. I've had it for forever now but have yet to use it because my life has been very busy and tracking my temp etc. every day seemed like a daunting task that I couldn't keep up on. Our second pregnancy came as a total surprise when our first son was only 5 months old. Since then I have been almost scared to be intimate with my husband and more often than not try to evade him completely because that's what was easiest/safest to me. Being religious, plus a few other reasons, contraceptives weren't an option. Watching this has given me the encouragement I needed to change things for the better of my marriage and walk with God. Thanks for always being honest and straight forward, for doing your best, and for sharing your journey in faith.
Hello friend! I was looking to see if you put a link to something you mention where you log your fertile days on your phone like an app or something like that but did not find it. Because I run out of space on a chart I have and do not know where to order more.
My husband and I have been doing this approach since we married (6 years married). We got pregnant super fast (3 times) when TTC :) And I have learned so much about my body and my cycle with it :). I stopped birth control right after I married when I discovered that a friend had been trying to get pregnant for 3 years but couldn't. Her doctor said her uterus was damaged because she had been using birth control for too long (6 years), and despite her age (25 years at the time), her uterus was like a 45-year-old women's uterus. I panicked and stopped immediately, regardless of what my doctor said. We also decided not to do any other contraception and chose NFP, and it's been great!! I know not everyone reacts the same to birth control, and the type of lifestyle also comes into play when TTC, for example, but I feel healthier without it! Highly recommend NFP too :)
Did this with my daughter & we knew I was pregnant way before a test would show positive. I was researching like crazy & was so in tune with my body. It felt amazing honestly.
I find it really interesting and empowering the idea of understanding my body and of course I think like most of us I'd prefer not to be on hormonal birth control, it impacts my mood and my weight and a lot of things. But ultimately I really need the reassurance of being certain I'm not going to get pregnant. At least right now as an overwhelmed mom of (about to be) two. Still interesting to hear how it's done, thanks for being open!
For me right now it’s more about understanding my body and my cycle. I like having the information so that I can spot if there are any changes or any issues that maybe I should look into more. Like for a couple cycles I had shorter cycles so I was able to notice that by tracking things. But I imagine if you’re not abstaining and don’t care for the info, you COULD not track.
@@KaylaBuell thank you for the insight, I’ve really been thinking about this but am so so nervous to take the leap. Hormones have taken a toll on my relationship, and mental health I’m so over birth control
Kayla I love all of your content, and watching your family grow 💕 I’m a Catholic mama of 2 and you are so inspirational, you motivate me so much! I wanted to ask you if you could please post a video on age gaps! My daughter is 4, and my second baby girl is 4 months old. I really want a third baby eventually but leaving it up to God. Can you speak on your experience with a two year age gap compared to the age gap with Sean 🙏💕 God bless you and your family ✨
I had no idea that NFP was what my husband and I have being doing for like 12 years now 😲. Haha. So thanks for educating me. I stopped birth control in college about a year into us dating because I was just having too many weird issues with all the birth control I had tried. We avoided pregnancy for about 10 years until we decided to try. I thought maybe I was just not fertile because we never even had a close call. My doctor is so awesome and she explained we were just doing it right and made me feel ok about our decision to use natural birth control and sure enough when we finally tried for a baby I got pregnant first try. Now we have a 2 year old. So glad I got off birth control so young.
@@KaylaBuell calander tracking and OPK strips. I add a couple days on to the beginning and the end of when my app says I’m fertile to be extra safe lol
I taught the male and female reproductive system as a science teacher in a Catholic school for years, and I always made sure to teach that the human female can only get pregnant during a very short time period each cycle. I didn’t teach about sex, just the body’s function. It is all VERY fascinating!! ❤ Thank you for sharing your experience! Also, your body is not gross!! ❤❤❤
You obviously said Joe is against baby 3 presently and the video comes across you are very keen on baby 3. Can I ask what therefore changed Joe's mind on being comfortable with you both pursuing this method as I feel there must be a lot of trust from a husband in his wife following it correctly? Baby 3 isn't happening any time soon for us but it is in discussion for when it might happen as I am more for than my husband currently. However I wonder if you would mind telling me if you ever feel a bit down knowing your fertile days and not using them especially on the days where your are keen for a baby?
Im not sure you understood this video, to be honest. I never said that Joe is against baby 3 presently. I said that in the past he was against the idea. And I literally stated that I’m presently completely giving this to God. Some days the idea scares me, some days I’m more comfortable with it. I haven’t entirely determined how I feel about any number 3 but I do feel called to be open to it. As for what has changed Joe’s mind, it 1000% has to do with his growth in his faith. Hope that helps clarify things a bit!
I've been using NFP for about a year. I've always had a bad reaction to any birth control I've tried. It's been working great for us! I track my cycle with the flo app and were just extra careful during my fertile week.
I deeply sympathize with you having bad reactions to multiple things. My own medical journey has been very frustrating and I've reacted really badly to almost everything I've tried to treat my own conditions. Ironically my own hormone birth control journey was the easiest and simplest medical experience I've ever had. It simplified several on going issues SO much I'm really really dreading coming off of it when we're ready to work towards number 2, because those complications will come back. I think it's so important to hear all perspectives because if I only went on my own experience and what I was educated on, I'd view the world so differently. I'm so happy you found what helps you instead of hurts you and I just wanted to take a second to tell you that. Bodies can be hard. 🙂💜
First part of the Video I thought “No No, “knowing” my Fertile days got me my Second Child, lol”. But glad I kept watching, to realise there is so much more beside that, no wonder I “accidentally” got pregnant with my Still very wanted Second child ☺️
Been married over 10.5 years and this is what we did to get pregnant with our 2 and not get pregnant when we didn’t want to since I cannot do BC pills, has worked for us too!
I heard the new Apple Watch automatically tracks temperature for ovulation. I still have the older version, but that will be a nice perk whenever I do upgrade!
If the church recommends you guys personally to not abstain during your fertile window, what is the point in tracking everything the rest of the month? How is NFP different from hormonal birth control in the eyes of the church, if you are purposefully abstaining during your fertile window? This is so interesting to me! I’ve heard of NFP many times but I never knew it was so prominent in the Catholic Church!
Good questions! I track the whole month just because I want to understand what’s happening in my body. Really just to learn about what’s going on. But I’m theory I could just not track. And in terms of the church’s teachings and why and why nfp is allowed as opposed to contraception, the videos I linked in the description box do a great job of explaining things way better than I ever could!
Wow thanks for this! I have a 3 month old and I’ve been asking God what to do as a form of contraception… because I definitely don’t want to do birth control pills or have any devices placed in my body. I said surely there had to be a way back then before birth control came about
I love Kayla and mean no offense, but I’m confused now. I was understanding the whole NFP concept until she said she wasn’t preventing anything during her fertile time. What’s the point of tracking or doing any of this if you’re leaving it up to God and still doing it during fertile time. ( I also think this means Kayla gets her third baby! 😊)
Finally came back and finished this video lol but I love how your priest was straight up with you. Haha we need more priests like that. Spacing kids is what we use NFP for. I need my body to heal between kids and my mental health lol, but as soon as I feel ready we start praying about the next. With that being said I also get very sick during the pregnancies the entire time so we have to take that into consideration too the more kids we have. It’s super hard. We have 2, 4, and 6 year olds. And I’m 20 weeks with the 4th. It’s been a struggle being pregnant but it’s always worth it. I’m also 32 and I get nervous about the future and having a child when I’m older and having hard pregnancy then. But like I’ve said we’ve had 100% success with NFP to avoid and conceive so I just have to trust the process and God (and also be extra careful lol) as I get older. I am so glad joe had a change of heart. I started getting teary eyed! I’m happy for you both and looking forward to hearing about baby #3 for you, God willing ❤️😅
@@ogechiagada6213 The Creighton Method. I am lucky in that I have very regular 28 day cycles, and after using this method for 9 years I pretty much know exactly when I’m fertile or not based on the day I am in my cycle as well as cervical mucous.
How long after coming off birth control before you were comfortable and confident without additional protection? I'm currently on the implant, but considering using NFP, I'm worried about results not being accurate while my body gets used to the idea of not being on contraception.
I totally recommend working with a coach of some kind if you’re presently on birth control and considering coming off of it. It can sometimes take a bit for your cycle to normalize again after birth control, that’s definitely something I had to talk to my coach about. I’ve had a couple of irregular cycles in the past 6 months, so that’s to be expected.
Ive used the patch and i loved it! But with breastfeeding its not recommended so i use the mini pill. But i 100% refuse to have anything put in my body that i cannot take out myself. So i will NEVER have a ring or a shot for birth control.
Thank you so much for sharing! Ive been thinking about this. Hate to put hormones in by body and I dont easily get pregnant, so... NFP makes sense. It was so on the right time for you to talk about this 😅
My thoughts: Nfp isn't the right option for me, for a lot of reasons, and I get uncomfortable hearing most people say it's what they're doing because most people seem way too relaxed and unintentional with it, and surprise pregnancies can be very unwelcome. But, a lot of people also do it right and find they're much happier with it. I don't get bad side effects from my hormonal birth control. It actually fixes several medical issues for me. But if I was the opposite way around I'd feel different. I also l9ve how Kayla doesn't pull back from uncomfortable topics. She mentions she's really nervous but once she decided to do the video she was all in on the details, and i WHOLEHEARTEDLY support anyone who's committed to being open and upfront and thorough with any difficult or uncomfortable subject because our world desperately needs more of that. I also love how happy she looks with their decision. She seemed like she was struggling so much with going back on birth control after Jackson and it was hard knowing she had such strong mixed or negative feelings.
I just got pregnant off this method after practicing it for more than a year 😅. It always worked but sometimes can fail but we refuse to take bc pills again. It was destroying my body after so many years
I'm a doctor and I personally wouldn't trust nfp 😀. But I know it works for a lot of people and that's great. Just I have heard too many strories about getting pregnant while "tracking your body". So I put my trust in medicine and an IUD 😀 it has worked great and got pregnant 2 months after removing it and 5 months after giving birth I had a new one placed. But again, what ever works for you is great 😊
You’d be surprised. It’s like having a cookie if you ate one everyday it wouldn’t be as good as waiting a whole week to eat one. That’s gonna be one delicious cookie 🤣
I 100% get giving it to God if it’s meant to be it will be through Gods hand. I unfortunately am not on the same page with my partner so I am where you were a year ago but I pray that God will change his heart and see how I see it.
I wanted to let you know that I haven't quite finished this video but I really do enjoy it I wanted to let you know that I really don't have a partner but or are married but I do track my I do track my cycle I use what app called pink bird but I I and I do enjoy that and I have heard of natural family planning and I thought this video was cool and informative and I like hearing your story
I honestly didn't think this was a method or a thing. I have gone the natural way of things for the past three of my pregnancies. For me it was as simple as tracking my cervical mucus. For those wishing to do it this way instead of being on the pill I can imagine the frustration one might feel not knowing. It's a whole booty load of information that I was not aware of until I looked it up. For anyone trying for a baby, they really, REALLY should research and get to know their body and how things happen.
people have been using this for a long time, and it's really paying attention to your body. I used to even have half hearted period pain when I was fertile. My daughter was conceived this way- knowing on the very day I would likely get pregnant- and I did- and I told people I was expecting 2 days later- this was 37+ years ago...............
So we do a version of this with breastfeeding. It can be super scary and after two csections I don’t think I could do it again. I also know I don’t want to take birth control ever again. We have decided to go the vasectomy route. I have asked previously if y’all believe in that or if that is a viable option? Also I feel like it’s only fair I did all the work of having these babies and recovery he can get snipped. 😅😂😂😂
Having had a c section, and a likely second one in a few years, and a really hard time and complicated recovery from the first, I second this decision!! Hear hear! 🤣
Thanks for this video- NFP/FAM is 90+% effective IF you abstain or use alternative birth control during your fertile window! Since you aren't abstaining during your fertile window you will most likely get pregnant. Good luck ☺️.
It’s okay to get pregnant at 39 or 40. Sometimes couples try earlier on in age but it doesnt happen. And they dont let go of that dream. So they keep trying and sometimes it doesnt happen for them until 30/40 even tho they started trying in their early 30s. For those couples, giving up and never having a child or an added child was not an option. It’s not what they envisioned to be in their late 30s or early 40s pregnant, but it’s what had to happen to make their dream come true.
I don't mean this to be offensive and I'm sorry if it does offend people but I understand after watching this video why catholics have so many children 🤣🙈 Coming off birth control in January for me and my husband to start trying for a baby and will be tracking using some form of NFP.
I love NFP but doesn’t work for our family. We’ve had 3 babies in 3 years. It can be a reality for some people who try but it’s great to have dialogue about alternatives for people who don’t want to use birth control.
I am very grateful for you sharing this information. I agree, we should talk about it more and educate ourselves more. I haven’t heard of this before and I think there was a reason for me seeing it. I really appreciate you putting this together and giving us all something to think about. We’ve drifted away from God and this world has meddled with our minds and hearts. I’ll be sure to discuss it with my partner and see if this is something that would be good for us. Also when you think about it, who even knows what we’re putting into our bodies and the long term effects it’ll have on us. Much love! Keep sharing. ❤
I had my 7th 6 months ago. I am 43 yrs old. I want to learn as much as possible about NFP. I am content if God gave us another but content if he doesn't. I don't want that decision to be on me . I want was God wants. Although I am wondering when he will close my womb also lol
I am also SHOCKED that the American school system doesn’t cover more of this - indirectly of course. In Canada we are taught about the body and it’s reproductive organs in science class. It talks about the woman’s cycle and how it works…. And maybe indirectly teaches this birth control method? It’s not promoted or anything, but obviously you get it. So is this just not covered in America??
When I was in middle school we had a class offered, upon parental approval, called Family Life. It was when I was in 5th grade, around the time of puberty for boys and girls. It taught us all about the human reproductive system and the anatomy and physiology of it all. It didn't cover NFP I don't think. It was a catholic school. I with it had been covered in high school though. At 12 years old it was more awkward to hear about than educational.
I wonder how women before fertility science managed it? According to my Mom (mother of 13) we are just supposed to please our men and if we get pregnant that's God's will. Even using fertility science (according to her) is against God's will. I asked her recently why we even pray if God's will will be done, I mean why ask for anything if God knows best. Isn't praying assuming he doesn't know best? These days I trust in God so all my prayers are just this: "Thank you" I have two additonal babies because my cycle shifted, so... what can I say, we are a fertile, broke bunch of six over here. ..I am currently also raising my brothers two kids in a three bedroom house. He died on a faith based camping trip. Trying to keep the faith on a meager budget.
So let’s say you both are blessed with more children. At what point can you have a say in when you want to stop having children?? You aren’t allowed to just feel that your family is complete?
Since you are catholic, I want to make you aware of the papal encyclical Casti Connubi by Pope Pius XI , this is an infallible document. Catholic dogma teaches us that the primary purpose of marriage (and the conjugal act) is the procreation and education of children. Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii (# 17), Dec. 31, 1930: “The primary end of marriage is the procreation and the education of children.” Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii (# 54), Dec. 31, 1930: “Since, therefore, the conjugal act is destined primarily by nature for the begetting of children, those who in exercising it deliberately frustrate its natural powers and purpose sin against nature and commit a deed which is shameful and intrinsically vicious.” Any type of birth control is immoral , you are abusing the gift of conjugal love, because you cannot morally separate the act from its main purpose which is procreation. And by recommending others to use NFP is adding sin ontop of sin. For your sake please research into what I’m saying. Not only are you preventing a soul from coming into existence, you are preventing all of the generations after who could’ve come into this world by this choice to use birth control. Please really think of the consequences of what you are advocating for… as Catholics we are called by God to be fully open to all the children he wishes to send us.
Thanks for sharing your view with me! That being said, here’s some information you might find helpful in understanding the Catholic church’s teachings on NFP: www.catholicnewsagency.com/resource/56165/is-nfp-sinful
@@KaylaBuell with respect, have you read Casti Connubi yourself? Because there are many mis quotes on that link you sent and also it failed to clearly show when it’s no longer quoting from Casti Connubi and infers it’s own opinion on what it’s saying as if that is what is being said by Pope Pius XI. Also virtuous continence is not NFP, it is fully abstaining for periods in time. Like a month , a year, whatever the case may be, and the intention in which makes this virtuous continence is the fact that you have no intention to thwart new life because you are fully abstaining for that time. It is not “for this week we will abstain because I’m fertile but next week when I’m infertile my husband and I can come together.” The intentions in this “abstinence” are clearly for the purpose of preventing new life. NFP abuses the sexual act by purposely making it non procreative. When it’s designed by God is to be procreative. NFP is 99.8% effective at preventing conception, as true Catholics we are called to be open to life, not .2% open to life. That’s not even 1% open to life.. If you read the surrounding context of what is being said in this encyclical (Casti Connubi) it clearly states that we are not permitted to subordinate the primary purpose (procreation) to the secondary purpose, (which is about the bonding of spouses, the quieting of concupiscence etc.) which is exactly what NFP is. when you read it you’ll see the clear distinction which this modernist and truthfully evil website is purposely leading you astray from. The moral principals are clearly laid out within Casti Connubi (which is infallible meaning it is true for all time), it’s about intention here with NFP. If in your heart you do not want a child, you are subordinating the primary purpose of marital sex, which is contrary to catholic dogma, and a grievous sin that will send you and your husband to hell.. Where in catholic history did the magisterium teach what Paul VI taught in humane vitae ? Is this a teaching that always has been held by the church? or a “new development.”
@@catholicwife with respect as well, I don't believe a comments section on any social media platform is the place to discuss the kinds of questions you're bringing up. I suggest instead to go speak to your priest if you have any serious concerns against the teachings of humanae vitae. I've read humane vitae myself and have also had discussions with my priest and for those exact reasons I stated that my husband and I don't have any good reason to abstain from sex at the moment and that's exactly why we aren't and ARE truly open to life. Perhaps my video wasn't clear enough or perhaps you didn't watch it in its entirety, regardless, that's all I'll be saying here 🤍

That’s so cool! That’s definitely a benefit!
Do you have a link for the thermometer you use?
I wish this worked for me but my cycles aren’t always regular so I feel I would be anxious all the time.
Genuinely curious as to what is the point of nfp or why track anything if you are not going to abstain from sex during your fertile window?
Can you speak on your experience with a two year age gap compared to the age gap with Sean 🙏💕
God bless you and your family ✨
Can’t wait to listen. Been using for 7 years!
Awesome! I’d love to know what method you use!
@@KaylaBuell calander tracking and OPK strips. I add a couple days on to the beginning and the end of when my app says I’m fertile to be extra safe lol
@@daniellelm3 that’s awesome!
It is s good giving all our concerns/worries to God and giving Him the control- He who knows best about all things......
Omg Kayla it’s so evident you want that 3rd child so badly 😂
Thank you for making this video, Kayla!!!
Also say You had baby number 3 and you still use NFP after the baby....would you still use this exact method NFP?
Yea I think Joe told me something about that! That’d be cool!
Yes to NFP! Good for you ❤️
Have a beautiful weekend my friends. 🍂🍁
So would you be open to have 5-6 children? Or more?
🙋♀️you were not alone on the temperature confusion😂
Wow thanks for this! I have a 3 month old and I’ve been asking God what to do as a form of contraception… because I definitely don’t want to do birth control pills or have any devices placed in my body. I said surely there had to be a way back then before birth control came about
Protestants should believe this too!!! And everyone should use it too 🎉
I love Kayla and mean no offense, but I’m confused now.
Which method do you use?
@@KaylaBuell thank you 😊
Ive used the patch and i loved it! But with breastfeeding its not recommended so i use the mini pill. But i 100% refuse to have anything put in my body that i cannot take out myself. So i will NEVER have a ring or a shot for birth control.
Question, when take your temperature do you do it as soon as you wake up? Is it always at the same time?
Same time every day...just do it first thing when you wake up. It'll become a habit. :)
@@AlishaH-fo8qv cookie analogies are some of my favorite analogies!😁
Thank you so much for such an important topic. Super relevant!
Yayy! I’m so glad you tuned in!
Thank you so much for sharing! Ive been thinking about this. Hate to put hormones in by body and I dont easily get pregnant, so... NFP makes sense. It was so on the right time for you to talk about this 😅
Thank you!! ❤❤❤
My thoughts:
Nfp isn't the right option for me, for a lot of reasons, and I get uncomfortable hearing most people say it's what they're doing because most people seem way too relaxed and unintentional with it, and surprise pregnancies can be very unwelcome.
Oh I love you so much for this! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your support just means the world to me! 😘😘😘
I love your channel and your message thank you for your videos.
I just got pregnant off this method after practicing it for more than a year 😅. It always worked but sometimes can fail but we refuse to take bc pills again. It was destroying my body after so many years
I just used ovulation strips and kept note of my cervical mucus. That has worked for me currently almost due with my second.
Thanks for this video
I'm a doctor and I personally wouldn't trust nfp 😀. But I know it works for a lot of people and that's great. Just I have heard too many strories about getting pregnant while "tracking your body". So I put my trust in medicine and an IUD 😀 it has worked great and got pregnant 2 months after removing it and 5 months after giving birth I had a new one placed. But again, what ever works for you is great 😊
I'm glad u mention this because friends of mine got pregnant using this method. It's not a safe method to prevent pregnancy.
I want to try it. I just don't think my hubby would be on board for the abstinence.
You can use condoms during your fertile windows
Very few men would.
🤣
There are other intimate activities to do other than only penetration.... Just saying...
You’d be surprised. It’s like having a cookie if you ate one everyday it wouldn’t be as good as waiting a whole week to eat one. That’s gonna be one delicious cookie 🤣
I'm 34 and I'm struggling so hard to conceive
I 100% get giving it to God if it’s meant to be it will be through Gods hand. I unfortunately am not on the same page with my partner so I am where you were a year ago but I pray that God will change his heart and see how I see it.
I did NFP when I was trying to get pregnant with my first.
I have two NFP babies. But happy I do! My fertility days shifted and welp here we are... a happy family of four... so far...
Wow!! Nice to know I'm not the only one in this modern world whos in NFP. 😲😀😊 BTW 30yrs old here. 😂😅 My husband keeps on telling me let's obey God. 🙌
people have been using this for a long time, and it's really paying attention to your body.
Hear hear! 🤣
Simply put, Catholics are against vasectomies because it eliminates the chance for life. And since Kayla is catholic, she probably believes the same
Thanks for the video! ❤
Thanks for watching!
If you are pregnant and you God forbidden end up a trisomy or any birth defect like I did you can not terminate the pregnancy according to church???
I don't mean this to be offensive and I'm sorry if it does offend people but I understand after watching this video why catholics have so many children 🤣🙈
Coming off birth control in January for me and my husband to start trying for a baby and will be tracking using some form of NFP.
😂 no offense taken lol I think it also has to do with the fact that many Catholics do tend to view children as a blessing from God
@@KaylaBuell and they aren't wrong. I'm not a very religious person. I have my views and mu beliefs but I definitely do think a child is a blessing ❤️
I wished I had of known this during my childbearing years. The pill is not great for you and I cringe now knowing how long I took it. Great video!
I had my 7th 6 months ago. I am 43 yrs old. I want to learn as much as possible about NFP. I am content if God gave us another but content if he doesn't. I don't want that decision to be on me . I want was God wants. Although I am wondering when he will close my womb also lol
Since it is against your religion for birth control and whatnot is it against your religion to get your tubes tied?
Yep!
At 12 years old it was more awkward to hear about than educational.
so getting fixed is against the religion?
Yep!
Maybe this will help answer that: www.catholic.com/qa/what-are-some-reasons-that-justify-avoiding-pregnancy
31, 1930: “The primary end of marriage is the procreation and the education of children.”
Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii (# 54), Dec. 31, 1930: “Since, therefore, the conjugal act is destined primarily by nature for the begetting of children, those who in exercising it deliberately frustrate its natural powers and purpose sin against nature and commit a deed which is shameful and intrinsically vicious.”
Any type of birth control is immoral , you are abusing the gift of conjugal love, because you cannot morally separate the act from its main purpose which is procreation.
That being said, here’s some information you might find helpful in understanding the Catholic church’s teachings on NFP:
www.catholicnewsagency.com/resource/56165/is-nfp-sinful
