    Keiser M3i: amzn.to/2N9IIDd (bundle deal)
This is an in depth NordicTrack S22i vs Keiser M3i comparison video with TIMESTAMPS listed. The video starts with a basic 5 minute intro and then goes into a full POV comparison showing all the similarities and differences between these $2000 indoor cycling bikes. Both of these peloton bike alternatives offer a fantastic drive train and riding experience, however, the nordictrack s22i studio cycle and the keiser m3i are VERY different machines.
CHAPTER TIMESTAMPS ARE LISTED DOWN BELOW.
For starters, the NordicTrack S22i studio cycle has a massive 22 inch rotating touch screen that locks you into the iFit platform, as well as the equally significant major difference of the the incline and decline motor to adjust your riding angle from -10% to +20%. The Keiser m3i does not have any motors for adjusting the incline and decline, and it doesn't even need to be plugged into an outlet to work. In fact the keiser m3i will even work if the batteries on the mini screen die.
The NordicTrack S22i utilizes a relatively heavy 32lb flywheel while the keiser m3i flywheel weight is 8lbs. Despite the significant flywheel mass difference each of these two indoor cycling bikes has an excellent feeling drive train that feels wonderful to ride. Both the NordicTrack S22i studio cycle and the keiser m3i have a very strong maximum resistance, as well as a very light minimum resistance resulting in a wide range of cadence and power output combinations you can put down through the pedals in your workout.
The mechanism in which the resistance is adjusted on each bike is very unique as well, neither the NordicTrack S22i studio cycle nor the keiser m3i have a traditional resistance knob to rotate. Instead there is a resistance lever on the keiser m3i, and the NordicTrack S22i has several means of adjusting the resistance digitally. You can use the push buttons, or the touch screen, or you can allow the auto adjusting resistance on the NordicTrack S22i studio cycle do its thing on it's own.
The NordicTrack S22i max user weight is 350 lbs while the kesier m3i max user weight is 300 lbs.

I had an s22i on order and then watched your previous Keiser video and did more research and cancelled the order ordered a Keiser and LOVE it! So much versatility with a wide array of cycling apps including Ifit and it’s design aesthetic is clean, and built for commercial use, which means long lasting. I use Zwift, Rouvy, Ciclozone, and Ifit with my Keiser and when cast to your big screen, set at a lower eye level, simulates a real road experience.

Great bike comparison! Learn a lot about the Q factor. Thanks for educating me on that. I’m glad my s22i is on level with a real road bike.

I really enjoy your videos, thanks for taking the time. I’m really liking the keiser bike and I think it would last longer without issues, BUT the Nordic track features, up and down, big scree with automatic resistance adjustments , built in fan and for basically the same price, Now I will be basically doing scenic rides, I’m not into the classroom type of rides. So it’s a tough call for me, I luv the keiser bike, but I do need the onscreen atmosphere, I have a smart tv, but I’m not sure if it would give me the same effect. Thanks again for your videos.

I just got one as my first indoor bike for Zwift. Waiting for delivery. There was a shortage, but my plan is to learn on the Keiser and then assuming I get hooked on indoor cycling, I'll get the Kickr bike when they're readily available in a year or two from now. The Keiser's lack of resistance control by the app is the only let down, but the next option I could find was 3k, and not even available. And at that point you're only $500 down from a Kickr.

@@ams914 How have you been liking the M3i? Do you think it has enough resistance to get virtually anyone out of breath with room for improvement?

Can we have a comparison between the Keiser m3i and Echelon X3 please? Or with another Echelon model, but I think a model without a screen included would be the best comparison as Keiser has no screen. For example, Echelon X3 Max (no screen) with 2 years of Echelon fit membership costs about the same as the Keiser m3i (in the UK; Echelon is a bit less now as there is a promotion on Echelon and you need to pay extra for Keiser's M-converter). I would like to know if Keiser m3i is worth the extra cost (as you'd still have to pay for whatever open platform you choose, be it Peloton digital, zwift, Les Mills etc. while you would get 2 years membership with echelon included for the same price)? One can just get the echelon X3 with a minimum 1 month membership (it is impossible to get the bike without paying for any echelon fit membership altogether), saving some £700 compared with Keiser. But, could you then use even echelon X3 without echelon membership?

I have the Nordi Trac s22i and fyi there is a way to use other platforms other than ifit on the screen. I can use free TH-cam vids on mine. I love this bike!

Hello. Has the wide Q factor of the Keiser had any negative impact on your knees?

Do you feel that you sit a bit more upright on the Keiser bike than the Nordic Track s22i and not feel like you’re having to over reach for the front handles?Do you think some it would be comfortable for someone 5’2??Also did you find the cut out on the handles take some time to get used too?

Love your videos, Big Fan! However, I would have a suggestion/observation... you dont need to mention the entire bike model name when you are referring to them throughout your video's. Maybe this is deliberate on your part. But I personally find it a little bit annoying hearing the bike model every few seconds, especially when the manufacturer and model name can be quite long, such as the NordicTrack. Not an attack by any means. Keep up the great work #AFan

Why does increasing the incline on the NordicTrack increase the resistance? It's not like you're actually going uphill, you're not fighting gravity.

The idea is to simulate outdoor riding with their outdoor instructor lead classes, you can learn more about that in some of my reviews with NordicTrack lately

The wider q-factor of the Keiser is great for the ladies like myself who have a little bit wider hips. 🙂
