I've surrendered to the fact I'm (probably) not going to be able to BUY every indoor bike ever made, so I decided to analyze, compare, and share my thoughts on the PooBoo bike using my experience with similar bikes to help anyone looking to get this bike better understand what you can expect. Let me know if you'd like to see a video of this style on another bike I haven't reviewed yet. Thanks for watching, see you soon!

We have this bike and have no complaints. Ours is the new March 2022 upgrade.
We live in Japan and this bike cost us the equivalent of 189.00 USD. Living on a budget an expensive bike wasn’t an option. So if you are not a professional cyclist and just want to have something to keep in shape this is a great bike- been a great bike for our use -we are in our 60’s and use it to stay in shape. The sales rep was very helpful as well. We have the magnetic version- 35.5 lbs flywheel. We added an rpm sensor so we can join online classes that focus on rpm.
It’s very quiet- we don’t have any issues with it being noisy. Ours was well built. No issues.

At the turn of the new year, I bought the PooBoo model you’re talking about in the video, and I pair it with Apple Fitness plus. I was brand new to cycling, and I feel, like you said, and I’ve enjoyed it as a brand new rider. Some things I noticed:
-The seat hurt my rear end, but I came to find that this is a common occurrence for any new rider with pretty much any seat, so I can’t give an honest opinion on the seat.
-I is frustrating not knowing what resistance you’re on, and there are times where my resistance knob will stick and jam. Additionally, I feel the the resistance is inconsistent from turn to turn of the knob. Finally, at higher resistances, the pedaling can become very choppy and sometimes will slip (could be form-related on my part) especially when out of the saddle.
-It does feel cheap, but it gets the job done at this point, then again, what can you expect from one of the cheapest spin bikes around?
-I’ve owned it for a couple months and I’m already ready to replace it, so any suggestions for a bike would be awesome. I do really dig Apple Fitness +.
Cool vids. Keep up the good work.

    This is my review:
I received the bike in early January, and right off the bat I had an issue- no instruction manual in the box. After an hour of scouring the internet (bc the Pooboo website did not have a digital version of the instructions on it) I finally found a TH-cam video of someone putting their bike together. After that everything seemed fine for awhile, then about two months later I noticed the resistance knob started to stick quite a bit and the brake pad was producing a ton of white powder which was annoying (and I should have just returned it then... but that just seemed like a lot of work to disassemble and Box up all of the parts). Yesterday, exactly 10 days after a my 3 month return window closed, mid workout my left pedal completely snapped off. This was not only terrifying, but also extremely painful. I was in the middle of a climb out of the saddle (basically standing on the pedals, not sitting on the seat) when it happened- so my right foot was still strapped into the bike and the wheel was spinning pretty fast as my left foot (attached to the pedal) fell to the ground. This twisted my knee pretty bad which seems to be getting more painful by the minute. At first I thought “you get what you pay for” and wasn’t going to post a review- but this bike cost over $300 and I weigh roughly half of the suggested weight limit- so I felt obligated to let people know that this bike is a health hazard- and I imagine if you weigh even close to the 300lb weight limit the pedals could fail even faster.

Omg my left pedal fell off too after 2 months. I’m returning that garbage, it should be called poo poo bike bc it’s pure 💩

Did you feel weird saying Pooboo during the video? 😉 I think this is a good way to review some of these bikes that share similarities. It made since. I think a lot of people really want your expert opinion on the specs and what not. I enjoyed it. Thanks.

I bought the magnetic one on Amazon and returned it immediately. Seat would not stay in place (kept sliding backwards) computer did not work, and heart rate sensor was giving me a rate without me touching it. Don’t buy it.

What bike would be best recommended for beginners who want to invest in one but be able to use for long term cycling. Preferably one with cadence if not thats fine. But also budget friendly in other words less than $500. But in terms of quality also!

I'm 5'1 and I'm looking for a great updated bike that feels comfortable, because I will not stick around if it's not comfortable. The problem is that I find contradictory information about measurements and height... and some reviews make me more confused. Hard to buy something without testing several models before purchasing.

Can you do reviews on some of the best apps for android users to track metrics when using non Peloton bikes?

  • @Ava_Orchid
    @Ava_Orchid 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I was looking at the y8 which is actually a rear wheel that looks a lot like a upright bike rather than an indoor or spinning bike but apparently you can still stand on it as long as you're under 280 lb. But what confuses me is the way they label their flywheels I'm not sure if it's normal cuz I'm new at this I'm literally just now trying to buy my first bike but I'm spoiled for choice. It's a 13 something pound flywheel that they're labeling is being 35 lb because of the magnetic resistance is that how they all label them is that why they're different labels depending on what you're looking at

I can save you some time. I had the Chaoke bike from Amazon and was very disappointed. Terrible lack of resistance and didn't feel solid. I currently have the Py High S7 which I love, but a clunking sound has developed in the right crank shaft of the pedal and I am waiting for tools and part from company to fix. Why can't a simple spin bike machine exist that will last without break downs and noise??? So frustrating. Good luck! :)

basically the stiffer the sole the better - better power transfer to the pedal and less wasted energy into a squishy sole

In the post you have "PooBoo Indoor Cycling Bike Review".... You should drop the "Review" part to "My Thoughts" or something else because in order to review a product you have to have used one. I'm one of the ones who asked you to start a site with all the comparisons and TailHappy scores a while back. Please don't do what a lot of idiot's do on TH-cam which is trying to review products they never even used all for the sake of Amazon affiliate links. I know you aren't one of these sad channels so please don't start now

Minus well don't do a review on any of these bikes because everybody knows that a $1000 bike or $2000 bike is better than $ 3000 bike .So for You to do a video on a $300 bike makes no sense because you never gonna be nothing positive for them.
