Great review! I'm in the market for a new bike, and this one is at the top of my list. Love that your review included ifit overview as well. Thank you!
Great review. I've been looking at both the 15 and 22. The only real difference that I could tell was the screen size. After watching your review I've decided to go with the smaller size. I plan to purchase the 15 next week. Thanks.

Great and very useful review our S15i arrives next week so now really looking forward to taking a daily ride especially with being stuck indoors with the lockdown and putting on a few extra calories ..
Hello everyone, I purchased this s15i but I can't find the on/ off switch. During the video, it was mentioned but it's nowhere I can see. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
So I’m looking at this, and the vault. I’m 5”9 and weigh 330 I have a lot on my stomach, chest and thighs. Would this be a perfect since it has on bike and complete off bike like strength workouts?
It does have both on the bike cycling workouts and strength workouts off the bike. You can get a full cardio and strength conditioning program with all the iFit classes. We have a Vault in our studio and look forward to reviewing it in the near future. It is a great option for strength training too.
@@TreadmillReviewGuru so I did see that as well my biggest concern about that, is the fact that I live in a apartment on the second floor I don’t wanna shake the floor with the exercises from the vault 😂
Great video! Can you use third party apps on the touch screen, eg. You Tube, etc? Or just the Nordic/I Fit stuff? Also does it have a headphone jack so you can plug normal headphones into it?
You cannot use third party apps on the touchscreen. It is designed to display iFit content only. (There is "hack" that allows you to bypass iFit and access the Android tablet directly, but it may negatively effect the functionality of the bike.) iFit has been updated so it will sync with Bluetooth headphones.
After couples of months the bike stoped working, I tried to contact the hardware support team given the bike still in warranty and they are asking me to disassemble part of the bike and adjust the Reed switch, they don't provide any help on how to do it and disassembling the bike requires tools I don't own. Anyone else in the same boat? I can't believe such expensive equipment stops working so easy and support doesn't help
Is the S10i pretty much the same bike, as S15i and S22i? Great reviews by the way, so thorough. It seems in europe that S15i is only for UK/US market. Hedging towards the S10i, not bothered about the extra inches on the screen for the price difference.
Hi Thank you for the comprehensive review. I don't mind ifit, but my wife likes the old school way. So is there a option where she could just choose a cardio work then set the desired time or strength level 🤔
Thank you so much for all your reviews. Nothing comes close. I am 6ft 7 and 260 lbs (2 meter and 130 kilo) I do have rather long legs. I do favor the nordictrack because I like the features from the ifit console. Like map your own route. Do I fit on the bike ? or do I have to look for another bike? I believe Ifit is limited to nordic track and proform both of which are harder to find in Belgium.
It may work for you. I raised the seat to the highest point and the full leg span from the top of the saddle to the lowest pedal is 41 inches. If your inseam is longer than that, it may not work, but if 41" is enough of a span, then you should be okay. The reach from the saddle to the handlebars when both are set to their highest level is 22" long.
Thank you for your review, I was wondering what you think about the S10I screen size as it is the only model of Nordictrack bike available near me. I was thinking the cast screen might work if the screen is too small.
The s10i screen is slightly smaller at 10" rather than 15" -- but since you sit so close to the screen when you are on the bike it works fine. The larger screen is nice, but not vital.
Yes, you can. It is compatible with any standard bike seat. You can also add a gel saddle to the top for increased cushioning. Just adjust the height of the seat as needed if you do this since it will make it thicker.
Riding an exercise bike like this one is excellent for building endurance and strengthening your cardiovascular system. It might also help with weight loss, but usually more factors like total calorie intake and overall daily activity help aid in losing weight.
Great review. I learned a few new things. Any idea how to turn on / off the Bluetooth? I want to connect my iFit heart rate monitor and can’t figure out how to toggle the Bluetooth on / off so it can be paired.
Make sure you are logged into iFit and it should bring up a little window that asks you if you want to pair your device. Make sure the chest strap isn't synched with another device (like your phone or tablet) or it won't connect.
There are many factors that impact blood pressure. Certainly losing weight is helpful. If you use this bike regularly and also decrease your caloric intake slightly, that should help with weight loss. It will also increase your aerobic fitness which can help reduce blood pressure. I've been looking both the 15 and 22 , except screen size and levels they are same . The one thing that I have read is the lag issue and software in the 22 . Have you found it to be a issue with Nordictrack bikes ? Leaning towards 22
There was a problem with long buffering times and/or lag during iFit videos but the most recent software update has helped significantly with this problem. We've noticed the programs now load faster and don't pause in the middle like they used to.
This was a great review. If you decide not to keep the ifit membership after the one year, what is the actual functionality of the screen? Does the bike have preset programs you can use or is the screen pointless without the membership?
There are free options if you don't use iFit. However, we recommend that users who don't want to use or pay for a subscription look for a bike without a touchscreen. While the free classes on the s15i are fine, you could opt for the Bowflex C6 or something and use your own tablet. Then you're not locked into a subscription if you don't want it.
The Schwinn IC4 bike is the same as the Bowflex C6 bike. They are both made by the same parent company and are practically identical. For more info about the IC4, watch our Bowflex C6 video.
Yes it can. There are some onboard workouts that don't require the subscription to iFit. These do require wifi though. Manual mode doesn't require a subscription or wifi, however.
The s15i has outdoor routes and automatic incline and decline. If you are a mountain biker, you will probably enjoy the many outdoor trail, mountain and gravel rides they have available. Peloton classes are also enjoyable, but the outdoor rides on Peloton are landscape videos you follow along and not nearly as engaging. For those who love indoor spin classes we recommend Peloton. For outdoor cyclists we recommend Nordictrack.
We haven't had any problems with our s15i. However, we have heard reports of the incline motor failing so some users have had to replace that - however, it is covered by the warranty. These are rare incidences, but we get reports about them from time to time. Otherwise, this is a great bike and fun to ride.
Can anyone tell what would be the minimum height of a person? Does anyone know the distance from lowest saddle position to the pedal? Suggested minimum is 4'9" but we are at 4'8"-4'8"1/2 so would like to be sure. And are not aware of any test sites nearby.
I am 4'11 and have the same question. Will it be comfortable for someone of my size I will I be really overextending myself to the handlebars. Also in your GTP review you mentioned the 21-in step through. Curious how high from the floor this center step through area is?
When the saddle is lowered to it's lowest point, it is 35" from the floor. However, when you are sitting on the seat, the span between the lower pedal and the top of the seat is only 28". I think you should be okay. The seat slides forward so you can reach the handlebars. The step through height is the distance from the floor to the space where you can put your foot through and step over the bike. This is 21" high.
Yes, it requires an internet connection to run the programs. You have to have wifi. But it doesn't allow you to surf the web or watch other apps. The screen is programmed to default to iFit and will only run that app.
Yes, ours is on the underside of the flywheel right where the power cord goes into the machine. It's kind of hard to see unless you know where to look.
Our machine has no on/off switch and I feel uneasy unplugging the machine after each use. Why did they not have create an easy way to turn off the machine ?
@@TheTocin4 It is kind of annoying. I don't know why they removed the on/off switch. Unplugging it is a bit of a pain, but it's better for the machine than leaving it plugged in the whole time.

Do you need to have the $468 yearly iFit membership in order to access any of the scenic outdoor routes? In other words, without a membership what features can you actually access on the interface of the bike? Thank you
