Hey BEAT family! SOOOOO many of you have asked me this question in either a comment, a DM or an email. You've asked about whether Christians should be "decreeing" and "declaring" things what that even means. Well, today I wanted to address that issue and I hope you find this video helpful in answer this question and addressing this very serious problem within the body of Christ. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts below, as always. Much love,
Be blessed brother, would you mind talking on the topic of mentorship for those who supposed may have spiritual calling? Do one seek out a mentor or do the mentee seek a mentor? Do you even need one or? We live in a world with twisted mentors at times what’s your thoughts 💭? Thanks
Yes! A big problem in the church today is that they talk about God like a genie. He will answer your prayers but He answers according to His time and His plan. And you have to be prepared for a prayer to go unanswered if what you're asking for is not meant for you.
It happens in my church and it’s made me extremely uncomfortable, but I wasn’t clear as to why until this video. As a baby Christian who grew up as a Jewish atheist, all this church stuff is baffling to me. The Holy Spirit gave me enough conviction and wisdom to not engage in this with others. Thank you so much for addressing this! God bless you.
I was an American atheist. God showed me quick what was what, but I decided to go to a church with a true prophetess, but too much prosperity, word of faith teaching, crowded out the true gospel that I learned. I had to leave and let them know why. I'm praying for them. Wonderful people of God. May God guide them all into all truth.
I’m going to be honest…I wasn’t expecting that this video was going to wind up making me feel very happy. God really has me in a season where TRUST and faith is paramount. The fact that we truly don’t have to do alllllll this (especially as someone who has left the new age) makes me feel like I can finally rest, and feel safe and protected in Jesus. Thank you for bringing this truth to the table.
Matthew 6:9-15 9“This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us today our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 14For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
@@kingdomvision7084 You missed out some words. Here’s the accurate prayer word for word‼️‼️ Stick to facts‼️ Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
@@accesstotheredcarpet Actually, the Lord's Prayer that (Mr./Ms. Kingdom Vision) was reciting was just simply another Bible Version. For as long as the version does not distort the interpretation it is good. For example: ...hallowed be thy name... & ...holy is your name... are the same. Which one you use may depend on the audience your sharing with. I think the importance to remember is that our Heavenly Father desires an intimate relationship with us, and the last time I checked scripture, if your conversation with him isn't about seeking his will for your life and the work of the kingdom, and esp. if in front of an audience you feel the need to be pompous and showy, you demonstrate hypocrisy. God is neither fooled or entertained. The Message Version reads like this: “And when you come before God, don’t turn that into a theatrical production either. All these people making a regular show out of their prayers, hoping for fifteen minutes of fame! Do you think God sits in a box seat?" God's Word Translation reads like this: “When you pray, don’t be like hypocrites. They like to stand in synagogues and on street corners to pray so that everyone can see them. I can guarantee this truth: That will be their only reward." And if you you are committed to the traditional King James Version...: "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward." Family, let's not lose love for one another by disobeying one of the summarized commandments by Yeshua/Jesus to love our neighbor as ourself and miss heaven by inches because our head got bigger than our hearts....for God. Peace and Blessings everyone.
Does anyone else notice how “decreeing and declaring” mirrors the new age practice of the law of attraction/manifestation? I can’t believe those practices have spread their way into the church. Great video Allen!!
Absolutely--and if you ask many of believers who ascribe to that train of thinking, they will definitely refer you to new age reading smh. But that is how the enemy works, by perverting the Word of God. It's crazy.
Why yes it does courtesy of Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, E.W. Kenyon and of course Kenneth Hagin senior, Oral Roberts and a cast of others who support this nonsense.
Name it and claim it. Speak into the atmosphere. Your best life NOW. She was decreeing and declaring all kinds of temporary, earthly prosperity. THE LOVE OF MONEY. In the last days men will be lovers of MONEY, lovers of PLEASURE and lovers of SELF rather than lovers of God. HOLDING THE FORM OF RELIGION BUT DENYING THE POWER OF IT. AVOID SUCH PEOPLE (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Hoping in this life disguised as Christianity. Why don't these frauds 'decree and declare' that in Christ we be conquerors of sin? After all "they shall call his name Jesus for "he will save his people from their sins"" (Matthew 1:21).
Christians: I wanna be like Jesus Jesus:commanded sickness and disease to leave people told disciples to do the same Sinners (looking to see if God is real) can you pray for me? modern Christians uhm I'm not sure if its Gods will Sinner:huh? sooo God wants me sick?
Scripture says, "Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”- yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil." James here makes apt point about how we should view life, through the lens of our sovereign God.
In something in ya life is not in line with Gods word declare en pray. I alwaya say this all those treasures that satan stole from me will turn back to me 100% i decree and declare it and proclaim it
Great message Allen! This trend is definitely the new age philosophy of Law of attraction being taught in the church in not so subtle ways in many churches who preach the "little gods" doctrine.
I’ve recently been delivered out of the Word of Faith movement and still find it difficult to UNlearn these and other non biblical practices in regard to prayer. I struggle a lot in prayer these days, so I often just sit quietly in His presence , because I don’t want to pray wrong. This topic was much needed and appreciated. Thank you for your ministry, your teachings are always on point. May the Lord continue to bless you as he uses you in a mighty way.
The Lord knows your heart. So speak from your heart even if you think it’s wrong. Learn from some good teachers. I recommend Matt Chandler from The Village Church. I also like Sam Storms.
You are not alone, I have experienced the same thing. Unlearning a lot of things that were just plain off. Prayer was definitely one that I still struggle with after years of decreeing and declaring, which is what I was taught was prayer and praying in tongues constantly and being told I was a prophet and speak this and speak that. Just a shame. But thank God for the truth and the truth of his word!
Jesus NEVER said Speak from your heart even if you know it's wrong! Read The Other Side of the River by Kevin Reeves who left the Charismatic church. Stay away from Matt Chandler and Sam Storms!!
Why don't you try writing down your prayers? That way you'll have more control over the words you use, and when you're done writing it, you can pray it aloud.
Those phrases throw me off whenever I hear them. I can't declare something that I have no control over. To me, decreeing and declaring seems like we'd be giving orders to God.
@@christsdaughter9569 ... do you know that the Bible has portions that are DESCRIPTIVE, and parts that are PRESCRIPTIVE. Not every verse in the Bible is a direct command to us. When God tells the Israelites to go and kill the Amalikites, 1st Sam 15:3...it is NOT telling everyone who reads that verse is to go do so. It was a command from God to a certain group of people, at a certain period of time, against a certain particular group. Same with Jeremiah 50:21. Thus, that is Descriptive. It is a piece of history that He wants us to know about, not for us to go "do likewise". But when Jesus tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves, that is Prescriptive. I pray you will get a good Study Bible, such as the MacArthur Study Bible or Ligonier Study Bible, ect. or their Free studies and sermons online. God Bless!
Think about this: If anyone could "Decree & Declare" something, it would be Jesus. Yet on the Mount of Olives, He ASKED God to take His cup of suffering from HIm, then finished by saying, "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." We are here to fulfill the will of the Father, not our own, just as our Savior did. Peace to you, brothers & sisters in Christ.
Jesus "decreed and declared" every time he healed the sick and cast out devils.....he just never used those words. "Decreeing and declaring" is simply exercising the authority of God here on earth to establish His will. Peter did it. Paul did it. Jesus never asked God if it was His will to heal anyone, He just healed them(with their permission). Peter also didn't stop to ask God if it was His will to heal the lame man before doing so. Jesus praying "nevertheless your will, not mine, " was because he already KNEW God's will. And Gods will was for Jesus to be sacrificed for mankind. He was praying to subdue his flesh.
@@Amerdealer I agree with you, but the use of the prase "decree and declare" has become a magical incantation in the church. That should never be done. I agree that we have the authority of Jesus in prayer, and we should pray in that authority. In that, we must always remember those who are healed are restored by the power of the name of Jesus, and nothing we've said or done. Peace to you, sister, and may God continue to do His works through us.
@David H. and @Amaraah, God bless you both as you both make valid points. David, I understood the direction of your initial message and where you were coming from. I agree.
Excellent teaching here! This information is so needed in the church today. I love where Allen says the decreeing and declaring puts us above God. Who are we to command God if anything? Loving your Bible study Pastor Allen.
Very well said and you're absolutely right! We're not to demand anything of the Lord and yes, part of true prayer is asking Him for things, but at the end of the day, we just need to yield to His Lordship and trust that He'll answer our prayers in His time and as He deems best.
Yes indeed and what you've said reminds me of the scene from the passion story, where Jesus Himself is in the garden of Gethsemane on the night before He is to suffer and die on that old rugged cross for sinners like you and me and He begs His Father to let the cup pass from Him and He says "not my will, but Yours be done."
Praise the Lord, finally a video about this topic! Thank you as always for the blessing of wisdom and knowledge, Allen, i -decree and declare- *pray and hope* that God blesses your ministry and gives you the courage to not only speak and talk about mainstream topics, but also those that are quintessentially important and necessary to our Christian faith. God bless you always!
Same here, and all that speak it into the universe. I'm like why should I speak to the universe, as if God just reached out into the universe to grab decrees and declarations He wants to fulfill.
“ I feel” two times. Where do my “feelings” come into play? We don’t go to court and talk about “I feel.” His Word is either established forever or it is not. It’s written in Heaven. It is not “I feel” and I stand on it alone.
Greetings, Brother Parr. When I allude to “Decree and Declare,” in my prayer, I say “I declare what God has decreed about lifting up a standard against my enemies.” Misusing the Word of God and taking it out of context will cause you to become frustrated at times. This is one very good reason why we should study to show ourselves approved unto God. Thank you for your sharing. Shalom.
I did decree and declare and I saw things happen many times. I means by the name of Jesus not by might but by his Spirit. Which means I can declare but it’s the will of God that will happen. The problem is the word decree. The real act is to take authority and speak over your situation in Jesus’name. That’s also the spirituality aspect of Christianity
I just had a discussion over face book with my nieces husband who is a pastor in the hyper charismatic ministry i was involved in to,his response was to to twist scripture to say that Romans passage say we can speak thing into existence,my response was exactly what you said,so glad to be free from the doctrine of demons!
Thank you for this video sir! I can visibly see God working through you. As a 17-year-old Christian for two years, your channel has helped me discern false doctrines, and to understand what the real truth of God is. Since then, I've had the passion of encouraging other people to our Lord. Thank you for being a blessing to all of us Mr. Parr! May God continue to bless your ministry.
Praise God. ..I wasn't aware a churchbI was attending a Word of Faith. But I kept running to the Word because something wasn't right. After 18 months I was sharingbwith my roommate a Word of Faith teaching. She said " You sound angry" I exclaimed, I can't find my Jesus. I feel so distant from Him. I wasn't declaring or decreeing..IJST WAS NOT HEARING THE WORD!..Stay away from Word of Faith, it is another Gospel rooted in the New Age movement. God is not a puppetbon our string WHO has to do as I say when I speak and declare. The only thing God needed to do for me was to send His precious Son to die on the Cross for me. Thank you Allen. Jesus bless this ministry even more than this ministry has blessed me!
@@patricianewhart8289 I agree! I just left a good ministry, but it had too much word of faith, prosperity teachings. I need to hear the whole word of God. There is an old spiritual, 99 and a half won't do. That's the way it is with me.
That video really helped me in my spiritual learning Allen. It is also an answer to my prayer to God, in me constantly asking Him for discernment in everything I do, as a recent reborn Christian. I really want to be cautious in what I do & pray. You don't know how grateful I am to you with this video. Absolutely love all of your videos, your easiness of explaining the truth, it is always done in a very "logical" (logical based on the Bible), straight forward manner and makes so much sense all the time. Thank you heaps! It is crucial for "new reborn Christians" like me to be lead into the right direction as much as possible in what we do/say/think and most importantly in what we pray for. May God bless you always, and thank you for "waking us up" if I should say so and for removing the dust in our eyes that we can't even see ourselves sometimes!
Thanks for this teaching. I think decreeing and declaring in order to make things happen does fall in the same camp as "Name it & Claim it." When I was a child my grandmother taught me to pray that way - especially to rebuke illness. She would tell me to follow preachers like Kenneth Copeland. It never quite sat right with me and as I got older I would not follow her advice on what teachers to follow. I'm so grateful to have found solid Biblical teachers like you and Pastor Mike Winger. I appreciate the in depth studies with a focus on context and original audience before any thought of application. Yes we are to come boldly before the throne of God. But also humbly. It is the height of hubris to try to order God to do anything!
Thank you so much for this teaching. A very well meaning friend sent me one of the "decree and declare prayers" from the video you showed and honestly it gave me a headache listening to it. I had to pray for God's peace while listening to it because there was no humility in the prayer. Thanks for your ministry it has blessed me and helped in my growth as a child of God.
I’ve always felt it was presumptuous and definitely prideful not humble. Thank you for confirming what I thought! God bless your videos and your teaching for Gods glory!🙏❣️
What timing! I was just decreeing and declaring in prayer today! I felt I was standing firm on what I was ASKING of God. Of course I always pray God’s will for my life no matter what I ask for in prayer. His will is really ALL that matters when it’s all said and done. Also, I was giving notice to the enemy that I am not playing with him and I know that what I am going through is spiritual warfare. Thank you for this message. I am always willing to learn as a Christian.
You sound very sincere. I would only change the word choice. To decree is something a king or someone in authority does. To me that is using authority only God has. I don’t mind the word declare quite as much, because that’s just confirming what God already says.
So grateful that you took the time to clear up this mess. Many people I know use that declaring and decreeing language a lot when they pray, not knowing what they're really saying. I'm posting this to my Facebook page to help edify the body. Thank you, Allen!
Thanks for this!! Really well put together. The more i learn about this the more it’s obvious it doesn’t make sense to decree and declare things, but for so long that was just normal and all I really knew in the churches I used to attend. I’m so glad God invites to pray boldly yet there is so much peace in knowing HE is God and He is in control- and that He has the most perfect intentions for whatever He allows in our lives. The name of the Lord be praised!
Amen..Teaching is correct ! Years ago I was corrected of this "error" of decree and declaring prayers by the Spirit of Truth Himself..... Context is key 🔑!
Allen!! Great video!! You know that a lot of us have quoted these scriptures for years with those beliefs for most of our lives.I certainly have(not anymore).I grew up in a believing home(my mother taught my brother and I what we know).I thank The Almighty for clarity and truth!!! I appreciate you taking the time to teach truth. The truth will make you free. John 8:32. That's important. False teachers are so prevalent today. A lot of people are sincere in what they're doing, but they're sincerely wrong.
Yes, you declare God’s word and His will!! I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Everyday, I declared God’s word that by His stripes, I am healed & other healing scriptures. I trusted God’s word that I am healed. HOW HE healed me was His business. I am now cancer free and didn’t happen suddenly. I went through chemo, surgeries, and Radiation trusting that if at anytime, God wanted to instantly remove the diseases , HE could. I trust His Word. That’s it. All of this decreeing multi billion dollar businesses, husbands, babies, and cats is not Biblical.
This is the confidence we have in him if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and if we know he hears us we know we have .... according to his comment on can't pray in confidence because one can't know if it's God's will to answer.... praise God you stood on the word in Faith agreeing with what God promised!! All of God's promises are yes and amen (so be it now). Many mis-label hope and faith. Hope is future faith is now. Hoping God will is not faith. Knowing God can is not faith. I rejoice with you as you're standing in his promise!!!
It never ceases to amaze me how I have questions and discuss with my husband my thoughts and Brother Parr always comes in with the answer. I thank God for using him as a willing vessel and for his ministry. God Bless you Brother Parr!
The Lord's prayer is the best example of how we should say and request things to happen through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We request in prayer through prayer.
I found this video right on time! I was attending this session hosted by our church, and the pastor had some prayer time before and after the session. At one point he said "I decree and declare" and it didn't sit right with me. Thank God I found your video!
So what’s wrong with trying to sway God, check Moses check David Paul. I agree with you on decree and declare what is in Gods word. But a big part of pray is swaying God
@@SuperMatcon Hey bro, I personally believe that what ever they would have asked God for he would have done it anyway, because he knows their hearts. You do make a good point though, I thinking about Abraham and Lot situation
We must realize how dangerous false theology is. My cancer was “decreed and declared” to be gone from my body, and anything I spoke otherwise was “claiming the cancer was back”. My mom convinced me to go to the hospital on my death bed at 70lbs and I shouldn’t have survived. The miracle is God let me live past that but I had to relearn how to walk and face severe consequences. It’s even beyond foolishness, it’s deadly. Thanks for breaking this down brother, excellent job as always
Paul said We had the sentence of death within ourselves that we might learn to trust in the living God. Job said Though He slay me yet will I put my trust in Him. In light of this did you really believe God? We were never instructed to decree. That is not faith. However, if we understand declare to mean speak that which we believe that is red letter bible. JESUS said Have faith in God. JESUS said what things soever you desire when YOU PRAY believe you receive them and you SHALL have them. Did JESUS lie about. I would rather die than say that HE lied. That is blasphemy. Remember that JESUS said these things and not the local pastor nor the traveling evangelist not even that woman that calls herself a prophetess. Grace and Peace!
Same here. I have lupus. God allowed me to go through a host of things to save me because I believe He was trying to get my attention. I was living a life of sin and was going to die, but He saw worth in me and allowed illness to see allow me to see how much I needed Him. I still have lupus, but it is stable. He has healed me. When I tell people that I have lupus, some church folk says "Don't claim that! I declare you healed". No, God has ALREADY healed me and my story is my testimony of not only how He saved my life but saved my soul.
Physical healing is not guaranteed in this life no matter what the prosperity types preach and teach but spiritual healing is. Now don't get me wrong, God does heal but not in the way that the prosperity types say that he does. They have made a living out of misrepresenting God and his word regarding physical healing for decades. They prey upon the desperate and weak who are in need of a miracle in their lives and the worst thing of all is that they say that sowing or giving money activates the blessings of God. These same individuals at the end of their lives have been known to have died from the very same diseases and afflictions that they preached God wants to heal everyone from. Pretty sick huh? In the end what they preached couldn't save them! They preached a false gospel and scrapped the bones of God's people for profit.
@@danmarley2886 Dan, I agree here. But it’s hard . To really take Jesus at his words is hard. Especially when you have people saying that to believe those words is believing in a false “prosperity or word of faith gospel” or all the orher labels. But we must take heed of our messiah’s words. As for the young woman here I am glad you got the medical treatment you needed. These theology issues are sticky .
I love your insights and you opened my eyes to a few things GOD does say we have the power of life and death in our tongues. God healed me of stage 4 cancer so I know without a doubt that when I spoke and asked God to heal me he did
You did declare you asked that is prayer. That is what he is saying. I rejoice for your healing but not because you declared. Try it for something else if it works good for you. With such authority nothing should fail, which is not always the case, why.
Albert Fowler , Praise God, He heard your prayer. I like your belief of the power of the tongue. Go to God in prayer, and He will answer, according to His will. That is truly trusting God.
I don't like when Pastors hoop while they are teaching. It makes me feel like they are trying to stir up an emotional response from me. It feels very manipulative and unnecessary.
So ain’t we emotional beings arnt we told to love God with all our heart And mind since when we are only intellectual beings. So maybe you don’t like hooping but is that any basis to discredit a pastor who does
I was actually reading this morning where Jacobs spoke blessing over his kids before he passed and those things he spoke came to pass. I also noticed the common theme with some of the other father's where they spoke blessings and it happened. So I can't fully agree with this video I'm about 50/50. I think if it's in God's will you can definitely call it forth.
Did Isaac's blessing actually come to pass though? I mean Jacob runs off for 14 years plus, and when he returns, there's nothing to suggest Esau serves him at all.
I totally get your take on the phrase, I also wouldn’t suggest the use “loosely”. However, I also believe that speaking faith rather than fear is walking in faith. Not putting your will on God’s, but just simply having faith for something. I think when people are saying “speak to your situation” they’re saying speak faith and not fear. For example, when David said to Goliath that he would have victory over him, it wasn’t necessarily something that he could put His finger on that God said, but he instead walked into the situation with faith, believing God for a victory. This is the same for us today. I do believe we have to be wise in our use, but sometimes God Himself is leading us to speak a thing that is not as though it were because any show of fear is speaking in opposition to what He wants to do. God bless!
To speculate things as you are doing is not healthy. Its always better to give a biblical interpretation of Gods word just say what you thing is the reality
@@michaelyearwood7835 Hello!! The example I gave was certainly not speculation. (1 Samuel 17) God instructs us to specifically speak over things when the situation permits. (Ezekiel 37) So while I understand his point, it’s not “cookie cutter” to say that we cannot DECLARE life, health, shifts into our situations. This is what faith looks like. Speaking. Action. I pray that gives a little perspective to your comment! God bless!
@@ladylawrence11 I dont think you really understood his point nor the context of the text he spoke of. But I hope that you would give it dome more study
Well it is simple, all you have to do is to see results of declaring, the scripture they use are not the one you used .They use John 14 th because when they decree they say in the name of Jesus referring to the verse so if you see people continuing doing it may be it's working .
Thank you for this! I was using this as a statement of faith but you shed new light on it and I will cease to use this practice except in the proper way. 🙌🏽💃🏽💜
I get what you’re saying and I hear that quote all the time but that’s a very churchy quote and ignores this verse: “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27
In my understanding, most who practice this do not believe you can “speak anything into existence” though some have taken it to that extreme. Decreeing and declaring doesn’t mean I can declare that I have a car and then one pops out of thin air, (we’re not God and God is not a genie). Rather we are declaring (which is just a big word for speaking forth) what God has already decreed or established in His Word. For instance, the Bible says that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Therefore, I am well within biblical measures to declare what God has already said in my life so that everything that isn’t in alignment with God’s Word has to come into alignment. The power is not in our words alone, but rather in God’s Word and when we speak it forth it shows faith in God and pushes back the forces of darkness which seek to keep me from experiencing God’s promises in His Word.
I appreciate you breaking it down .. because the video and the comments kinda threw me off.. I don’t decree or declare but I definitely speak what God spoke in his word because I’m his child and I have a right to do it. Thanks 😊
Yes we can declare what God's word said. But we are simply not to decree anything. That is because we are not to add anything to what God has already decree. If we do we are just playing church. And to tell the truth that's what many of us do every Sunday. I call such people make believe believers.
THANK YOU!!!! This video (which I love his materials) will make you doubt the boldness the Lord gave you in his word!! I had (have) the understanding that he told me to boldly approach the throne of grace and to make my request known! Did I miss something 🤷🏽♀️
The only one that can speak things into existence is God. This feels like new age teaching that crept into the church. You cannot declare to God anything is going to happen lol. It happens on his own will. Neither can you speak words and things come to be. Remember that his thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are not out ways. His are higher. He sees the big picture. We definitely have to stop saying this.
I would disagree that it is something new. Its just bad teaching or misunderstanding that has been around for a long time. I think we are trying to undo it at this point now that there is better understanding or teaching. Like pastor Allen said peopes intention may not have been to cause harm but its just unbiblical therefore its not helpful to anyones true understanding of God.
Thank u!! Thats all it is. We speak God's Word into existence. It's is established. It's a Word for every circumstance in our lives and we decree the Word on it. God honors that..
@@gwencross5016 exactly It’s decreeing Gods word over your life what’s wrong about that job 22:28 says thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established
Thanks so much Allen for that video. It makes it clear that it’s not about me and how much faith I have, but according to my good Father in heaven’s will shall it be done.
Thank you so much brotha for helping me complete my understanding of this topic. I’ve had a recent experience of multiple churches preaching this only to arrive at this declarations has not come to pass in the years time it was foretold. Along with the dreams and visions I endured which overwhelmed my flesh. As you mentioned, I began the search of the scriptures to understand this phenomenon. Once again, your explanation was on point and tremendously helpful. May Yahweh continue to give you favor and blessings upon your wife & children.
And by the way there are so many decrees in the word of God. When man made declaration without any prior order from the Lord. JOSHUA when he spoke to the sun. Elijah when he cursed the 40 boys of Bethel, Paul when he stroke the magician with short blindness... and many more examples.
I’m glad I seen this! We was definitely taught to decree and declare and I never thought to study it because it sounds so positive and righteous. Gee I learn something new everyday in Gods Word! Thank you brother and thank God! His plan is truly amazing!

What about the scripture that says whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven & whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven? Isn't that giving us authority on earth and heavens response would be based on what WE do? Actually using the words decree & declare isn't biblical but we do have authority on earth because of our position in Christ.
IN that verse when Jesus was talking to his deciples, he was giving them permission to speak with his authority when then traveled to other cities spreading the gospel and healing the sick. It wasn't by there own power that they could heal or anything like that, they had Jesus' blessing to do it before they left. There's also another incident in Acts (I think) where a guy was trying to drive out a demon in the name of Jesus and in the name of Paul. The demon said "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but I don't know who you are" and the demon possessed person turned on the guy. One mistake I think the guy made was mentioning Paul's name as if Paul himself had power equal to that or added to the authority of Jesus. Allen is basically saying if your words aren't backed up by what God has already said or promised to you, you can't call things into existence
We don't know how things will turn out or if it's Gods will the things we decree and declare. We can only ask for and believe on the things scripture says and what God has personally given us permission to speak on. Ei: if God told me that my ministry was going to boom in a year I can only repeat the declaration He has GIVEN to me . Sorry this was long lol
That scripture is not referring to declaring and decreeing what we want or need God to do. That term was actually an old Jewish term that meant to bind ‘to tie in’ and to loose ‘to allow’ in reference to what was allowed lawfully. When Jesus gave the apostles authority to bind and loose it was the power to say what was and was not lawful (and also linked to church discipline). They weren’t creating anything new just whatever they said was lawful or unlawful was already bound or loosed in heaven... they were in effect agreeing with it and had power to teach the growing church so. This verse has been taken out of context for so long and it’s only very recently that I learned this myself. Hope this link helps explain better than I did! endofthematter.com/2021/01/what-does-the-bible-mean-by-binding-and-loosing-matthew-1619/
Thank you, Allen. I have seen so many in my family believe in this phrase, and be disappointed in God for not answering their prayers. There is power in the phrase' removing God from His throne so you can sit on it' rings true.
Thank you pastor...for exposing the lies in church and preaching the TRUTH...these lies are hurting people in the church...it is so sad...my heart breaks 💔😢 for those who listen to these lies and believe them. But I praise God because He is exposing these lies. Blessings to you.
It is sad indeed and when you mentioned that those people are currently falling for this junk, one particular passage that came to me was 2 Timothy 4:3-4, where we're warned by the apostle Paul that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will raise up for themselves teachers, having itching ears and they will turn their ears away from the Truth and will turn to fables.
After listening to a lot of decreeing and declaring in my prayer group I just felt that there was something off about it. So not knowing enough I knew I needed to search scripture and listen to teachers like you to help me realize what is true and what is not, about this subject. I think you did a great job at making this plain, Allen. The fourth point is where I felt the LORD lead me too. If we can just declare stuff all day, then what is the point of prayer? I think (this may sound judgy), that the people who spend a lot of time declaring are the same people who spend little time praying. Great Job Allen, I hope you are doing well and I will be praying for you and your wife with whatever you are going through.
Decreeing and declaring are definitely part of the Word of Faith theology. I spent 29 years in a WofF church, and we moved around the country, so I was in four different WofF churches. Believe me, they all teach this. They teach that we have authority because we are "little Jesus's." It's part of the little gods theology. I have since REPENTED of this belief and am no longer a WofFer! Thanks be to God!!!! And thank you for this helpful video. :) God bless you, Brother Allen!
Believe in your heart and declare it with your mouth and it will be done according to your faith and this includes healing. Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that moment. Bcoz we have faith or believed it would happen even if we do not see it yet, we declare it with our mouth and the healing process will occur bcoz your brain will give signal to your cells to get healed. It really works. But first we must allow Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior by living out His words upon our lives. Then the power of healing will occur.
@@michaelalbertson7457 Last two days ago, I was watching the movie titled Sunrise in Heaven. The couple had an accident. The wife was safe but the husband was in a bad shape. The wife and their 2 daughters prayed so hard for the miracle healing. But because of the difficult condition of the husband, later on they accept the fact that if the time is already up for you to face God, there is no other way but to receive Acceptance. I do believe that if its already at the right time and ripe age, we have to accept the fact that all of us will eventually face natural physical death. However, if we are still in younger years, God wants anyone to enjoy wellness and in good health as we obey His will (Proverbs 4:20-22). As we offer our bodies holy and pleasing to God (Prov 4:20-27) and allow God's words to live in our minds and hearts, the Holy Spirit which is alive in our inner being will enable us to guide and give wisdom to be healed in whatever chronic illness man has. That is our heritage from God. This is what God says to us who believe in Him: Jeremiah 32:38-41. They will be My people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear Me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear Me, so that they will never turn away from Me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.
This is a common practice in the Pentecostal Church and other Word of Faith denominations. Thank you for sharing this needed message. However, some people are so loyal to their denomination that they twist the Bible to fit their beliefs. When the things they decree, declare and command do not come to pass, it’s because you do not have enough faith or it’s not God’s timing. Instead, we need to trust the Bible.
Yea right and there we go castigating the entire body of Christ creating divisions calling out names. Can we not treat with a concept rather that degrading other members of the body of Christ
Amen division is of satan n I wonder what some of these caller outers true motivation is im not saying there wrong but I believe these things should be sorted brother to brother instead of increasing an already divisive time n don't forget Jesus & all the true prophets were put to death as being fakes let's not repeat history especially to increase our TH-cam following yes truth is good but there's a way of doing it n it's not shaming your brother on social media.
@@SuperMatcon i hope i haven't misunderstood what you mean but, the truth must be spoken, and most of the time it often causes divisions because there are people who will always reject it. Regardless, it must be spoken. 🙏🏾
Thank you for posting this very needful presentation and when it comes to this topic, as I was listening to what you had to say, one particular passage that came to me was Isaiah 46:9-10, where our Lord Himself makes it clear that He is who He is and there is none like Him, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, His counsel will stand and He will do all that He pleases.
There are no Christian versions of anything . That’s starting backwards. All things originate with God since In the beginning, God. The versions come afterwards and that from copying, twisting, perverting and omitting... as in “did God really say?” the acts of Pharaoh’s “magicians” copying Moses in the Book of Exodus during the plagues, the one practicing divination in the Book of Acts in which the spirit replied “Jesus I know and Paul I know of but who are you?” These are versions. There are no Christian “versions.” The only original is Christ, the Word. And we are to believe and speak this Word. The Lord covered the error in us by stating we are the ones who ask amiss/ask for ourselves. We don’t start at the end of the matter, ie, the fake. We start at the beginning.. and that is with God.... - “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.. “ - and we stand on that Word, we stick to that Word, we commit ourselves to that Word and we let all lies fall off. We commit ourselves to believing, trusting, clinging to, meditating on, muttering that Word day and night, and we live all the days of our life and do everything by this Word, and this true and living all powerful Word shapes our mind, our battles, our situations, the spiritual atmosphere and all that is life in agreement with it in God. There is nothing else. And will never be. Amen
@@noble604 no I know, that’s why I used the quotation marks. I was saying that some christians manifest things but because they are christians they just call it decreeing and declaring. No difference at all, shouldn’t partake in these practices regardless
Angella - I wasn’t clear that I’m not in agreement with the video and that I believe, declare, state and call into existence everything God has for me according to His written Word. If I follow His Word and know He is the One who creates my desires and He is the One who grants those desires which He creates in me and makes a way to be fulfilled, I recognize it’s ALL Him. I speak His Word over myself, my(His) desires, my life, my body, all that concerns me, my family and all situations and I *fully expect my God to perform the Word He has spoken and that it will accomplish all that to which He sent it. This is my belief and I pray it in Jesus.
The decree and declare doctrine has always concerned me due to the negative connotations that someone who is desperate feels when the "spell" hasn't worked for them. It is something taught and practiced in an unofficial way in my Church for which I tend to speak against on a one to one basis. In my view it is positive confession and is about what we can do rather than the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit. Very good approach to the subject The Beat, it has given me the confidence to look into this more deeply and possibly put something in writing to our senior Bishops. Well done The Beat.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26 KJV
I believe there’s a distinct difference between declaring what YOU want to see and declaring what GOD promised to you or instructs you to speak. When it is done from the latter perspective, you rely on the authority and power of God and word of God not your power or word. Also with what you were saying about Paul pleading for his thorn to be taken away, we disagree on that. The reason Paul’s thorn wasn’t taken away had nothing to do with a faith problem or anything, it was to keep him humble and from becoming proud from what God was revealing to him. The thorn for him was afflicting him but was also serving a beneficial purpose. There are things that need to be treated like the mountain to be moved, but there are also things that won’t be treated like the mountain because it could be serving a purpose for the believers benefit.
I think he actually agreed with you about Paul. I think he was just trying to point out that it wasn't removed. We know God doesn't or doesn't do a thing for HIS purposes. So yes, there was a reason behind why God didn't remove the thorn in his flesh...but Paul still wanted it removed and God still didn't. I THINK that's what he's trying to get at. You're correct.
Naming and claiming is different then decreeing and declaring. You decree and declare Fathers word and do so with authority against the works of the enemy. We are given all power and authority over the enemy Luke 10:19. And even though we are to remain humble - Father also tells us to come boldly before His throne. It is written you can either speak blessings or cursings. We are to speak Fathers word with authority as He leads in a given situation. But Fathers word does warn about decreeing or declaring unrighteous things. Father is the same yesterday, today and will be forever. There are approx 49 verses using the word Decree, 5 using the word Decreed, and 3 using Decrees. There are approx 95 verses using the word Declare, 41 using Declared, 4 using Declareth, and 4 using Declaring. Correct that Father is not a Genie - But you can and should decree and declare Fathers word - especially in spiritual warfare. Naming and claiming is usually done by those who want to gain material things, such as money, etc. They name it, then they claim it for themselves. There is a difference. If the LORD tells a person to decree and declare something - then it's best to be obedient - no matter what any one says. May you be blessed in Jesus Christs mighty name!
@@vernamanning6205 I'm not sure exactly what you mean by your comment. But declaring the word of God is not the devil himself. The devil will twist Father's word, by changing a word or words or removing a word or words to manipulate and pervert it, but would not declare Father's word as it is written. Even when Christ was tempted of Satan in the desert, in which he was twisting and changing Father's word to try to do so, even Christ declared, "it is written", when answering.
Excellent Topic. 👏👏👏 Thank you for this video. I must admit i have used the phrase a few times due to previous teachings. I appreciate how you broke it down. God Bless you and your Ministry.
Any other believer going through continuous anxiety right now? Praying, reading my word, praising, not sinning, rededicated my life to God, recently baptized and continuous anxiety can’t shake it. Thoughts? God Bless
Try a fast, maybe the Daniel fast or a 6am to 6pm fast. Keep praying, don't give up. The enemy does not like that you rededicated your life so the anxiety is from him to distract you. Lean on Jesus. Look up Robert Clancy on TH-cam and listen to his prayer every single day. God bless you I pray this anxiety passes. ❤️
@@user-ro1hw5tr7u I appreciate the response. I agree I think a fast would be helpful. They want me on meds but I don’t want to be numb and open to further attacks because I’m “incapacitated due to meds” I try to help everyone around me I’m just all alone when it comes to me. Just me & God and maybe that’s what He wants just the sorrow is overwhelming. I will go ahead and start a fast tomorrow that makes sense.
I've been dealing with so much anxiety too so I can certainly relate to you. Please don't give up and just keep praying as others have said. God is faithful, he'll never let us be tempted beyond our ability. I'll be praying for you, God bless you x
Yes. Sometimes I become anxious. Sometimes I have hard times discerning what comes from Jesus and what doesn’t and this causes me to feel confused, even becoming a little fearful if that makes sense? You’re on the right track by continuing to pray and spending time in his word. Just know that he is always with you and will never leave you. God will strengthen you because you are his. You could very well just be getting spiritually attacked too. This is a possibility but for encouragement, greater is he that is in you than he who is in the world ❤️
The Bible says "let the weak say am strong, let the blind say I can see...". It also talks about the power of the tongue, that in the tongue is life and death. Declaring and decreeing is biblical and just because some Christians use it for selfish motives doesn't make it unscriptural. Jesus Himself talked about talking to mountains. And you mentioned something about our authority to make declarations, to which I would say Jesus gave us the authority and power, even to cast out demons. His name gives us the legal grounds to make declarations
Amen!! Some people use it in the wrong way. Right now I am fighting spiritual warfare and asking God to deliver me. I say “I decree and declare that God will deliver me from these strongholds.”
The tongue thing is because you can destroy people with what you say, you can ruin reputations, with what you say, read James' letter about what the tongue is capable of in destroying others and not building others up. It can lead to death or life, even whether you end up in blissful eternal life or hell. 10:22 "So what can we decree and declare"
You can ask the father for something that he would agree with as long as it is Holy and just. If you are asking for something that is worldly don't waste your time even if you receive it it doesn't mean it's from God. If it is His will. Also understand when you pray to the father sometimes he says yes, no, or not like you think.
Scripture says “the tongue has the power of life and death.” (Proverbs 18:21) Jesus gave his disciples the “power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.” (Luke 9:1) How do they do that? By COMMANDING the demons in Jesus Name to come out. This makes it very clear that as disciples of Jesus we have to and need to use our God given authority in this world. Our words have power. I like a lot of your videos and respect you as a fellow child of God but I have to respectfully and strongly disagree with you on this one. We need to be mature enough as Christians to understand that if it’s not God’s will, we can’t make it happen, yet be bold enough to know that Christ has given us authority, here on earth to change our situations for the better so we can further edify His people and His kingdom. If the Holy Spirit of God lives in us we need to understand that when we decree and declare or speak life into a situation, it is not us doing the work but it is the Holy Spirit speaking through us. The Holy Spirit uses our mouth as a vessel to set things in motion. Jesus affirms this in Matthew 10:19-20 when He tells his disciples to not fret when they are facing persecution because “you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
Prophetic decree flows naturally when we comprehend and speak from our heavenly position. (Eph 2:6) The power is not in the words we use but in the revelation of our authority in Christ. According to Matt 11:22-23.
Thank you for this word. Confirmation. I needed to hear this as I was actually recently questioning this. For some reason it always felt to me as though you’re trying to “control” GOD….in a sense moving HIM to action by these “magic genie in a bottle” words. Am I wrong for saying that? Lol That’s how I felt about it ever since I first heard that term. Again. Thank you. GOD bless you Brother. 🙏🏽❤️
Allen do you watch or listen to any African pastors? For any reason. It would be nice to see you talk about the false teachings in the African church. I'm sure there are many of us here that are African and would like to see something relating to African false teachers (mostly prophets) and their teachings. They're quite different to the Furticks and the Copelands. It'd be nice to see something like that here. *don't know if this makes sense*
There are plenty of them in Africa is like a normal thing. The sad thing is that almost everyone believes and practice what they preach without knowing how unbiblical it is.
False teaching is everywhere, not just in Africa. Almost all new testament books warned against it. Some will even call Allen a false teacher. Sister, focus on your relationship with GOD and how you can positively influence your circle to HIM.
Much love,
Hey Allen, could you do a video on Christians and types of dancing?
What’s the difference of new age and Revival Christian please.? Because I saw the Revival Christian do this thing too like a decree and declare...

There's no secret formula for making God do what we want. The Biblical model is clear: we ask, and He answers as He pleases.
Amen bro.

Amen, never the less, let Your will be done.
That’s the way He’s worked for me. Declaring & Declaring just hasn’t worked for me.
not about doing what we want..its about declaring what the Word already says he wants..
Prayer is not a magic spell and should not be treated as one. God is not our genie he's our father.
I concur wholeheartedly
YESSS!!
Yes! A big problem in the church today is that they talk about God like a genie. He will answer your prayers but He answers according to His time and His plan. And you have to be prepared for a prayer to go unanswered if what you're asking for is not meant for you.
Fathers deny their children what is nor good for them no matter how much they want it

@@accesstotheredcarpet Actually, the Lord's Prayer that (Mr./Ms. Kingdom Vision) was reciting was just simply another Bible Version. For as long as the version does not distort the interpretation it is good. For example:
...hallowed be thy name...
The Message Version reads like this:
“And when you come before God, don’t turn that into a theatrical production either. All these people making a regular show out of their prayers, hoping for fifteen minutes of fame! Do you think God sits in a box seat?"
God's Word Translation reads like this:
“When you pray, don’t be like hypocrites. They like to stand in synagogues and on street corners to pray so that everyone can see them. I can guarantee this truth: That will be their only reward."
And if you you are committed to the traditional King James Version...:
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
Family, let's not lose love for one another by disobeying one of the summarized commandments by Yeshua/Jesus to love our neighbor as ourself and miss heaven by inches because our head got bigger than our hearts....for God.
But they were in the church way before they were in the world.
New age is the perversion. God’s Word is the truth.
I 100 percent agree. We declare what God says about us and Decree his promises over our lives.

All such boasting is evil."
James here makes apt point about how we should view life, through the lens of our sovereign God.
The only thing I’m decreeing and declaring is the will of God. Anything beyond God’s will is my own.

I think the only things we should decree and declare are things already specifically in line with God’s will for others.
This is so true or else we get into the realm of the new age and put ourselves in the position of God.
So is healing in Gods word, is prosperity in Gods word

Man! This hit "home" for me.... Absolutely me.
Exactly!!!
Yes
The Bible says declare a thing and it will be so
@@christsdaughter9569 ... do you know that the Bible has portions that are DESCRIPTIVE, and parts that are PRESCRIPTIVE. I'll let God be God and just learn to trust in Him. Rather than try to force my own reality; my heart could lead me astray and that's scary.
Yesssss, I love this!
Well said
Think about this: If anyone could "Decree & Declare" something, it would be Jesus.
Amaraah - well said. Agree
@David H. and @Amaraah, God bless you both as you both make valid points.

Yes, God's Will Be Done, Not ours!
Yes me too. I never liked it. I knew there was something off about it. Even that manifesting group.

Shalom.
I declare and decree that no matter what my eyes see or my heart feels, God is with me always.💗
Amen Amen you go ahead sister I’m agreeing with you on that

@@locks4u2c yes!!!!! That part!!

This is proper theology. Eye opener as usual. I pray the almighty God continue to enrich you with all the wisdom needed to fulfill his assignment.

How dear we try to sway God, we can only decree and declare what has already been said in his Word and by His Spirit, thanks brotha

To God be the glory!! 🙌🏾

@Quinn Hughes oh thanks

Amen
Did Isaac's blessing actually come to pass though? I mean Jacob runs off for 14 years plus, and when he returns, there's nothing to suggest Esau serves him at all.
But we have no idea what is in Gods will , because we aren’t God. Gods will is Gods will which is probably not ours most of the time.
Actually they were prophesies. And they came to pass because they were true from God
Agreed
Speaking. Action.

Exactly
Amen! I wish that more people understood that truth.
@Desire Of All Nations I am sorry to say that your worng is actually the devil use religion
Thanks 😊
alan talked about declaring and decreeing biblical truths and gave a few examples
Yes we can declare what God's word said. But we are simply not to decree anything. That is because we are not to add anything to what God has already decree. If we do we are just playing church. And to tell the truth that's what many of us do every Sunday. I call such people make believe believers.
We can indeed declare what God has already decree. However the issue is to decree and declare. This we are not to do.
Like pastor Allen said peopes intention may not have been to cause harm but its just unbiblical therefore its not helpful to anyones true understanding of God.

decree and declare God's promises
Precisely! We can only decree what God has already spoken regarding us in His Word.
Amen

Thank you, Allen. I have seen so many in my family believe in this phrase, and be disappointed in God for not answering their prayers. There is power in the phrase' removing God from His throne so you can sit on it' rings true.
So many doctrines these days try to eliminate God's sovereignty. That's the dangerous part. Same goes for the prosperity Gospel

I'm depressed about it how long did it take you to get over it
@@marilouonez6146 What about if you don't get healed?

Last two days ago, I was watching the movie titled Sunrise in Heaven.
We should be salt of the earth 🌎 & uninified at least to the public eye setting an example.
@@SuperMatcon i hope i haven't misunderstood what you mean but, the truth must be spoken, and most of the time it often causes divisions because there are people who will always reject it. Regardless, it must be spoken. 🙏🏾
@@SuperMatcon The Bible is quite clear, but man twist the word which brings about confusion.
I feel like decreeing and declaring is the “christian version” of manifesting for new agers
It is
I strongly agree!!! I am an ex new ager.
Thank you for addressing this..
Thank you for explaining this. Also, watch out for those “feel good” preachers. Truth is what we need, not enticing words.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:26 KJV
So is this an argument in support of "decreeing and. Declaring"...
Authority! Amen!
@@74skream 😝😂...I would say it is!
Ask and you shall receive. Good message brother. Blessings to you and your household.
Couldn't have said it better myself
I think he actually agreed with you about Paul. I think he was just trying to point out that it wasn't removed. We know God doesn't or doesn't do a thing for HIS purposes. So yes, there was a reason behind why God didn't remove the thorn in his flesh...but Paul still wanted it removed and God still didn't. I THINK that's what he's trying to get at. You're correct.
I AGREE ON THIS 💯
Naming and claiming is different then decreeing and declaring.
Amen! THIS IS TRUE! LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TOUNGE!
Amen! Life and death are in the power of the tongue!
Amen! Thank you!
Many says the lord says do this and says that when it is in fact the devil himself..
@Hassan Mohamed thank you so much.
True I agree with you
Thank you for confirming my thoughts. This was very helpful as I researched the word decree from Psalm 19. Blessings over your ministry.
I’ve be seeing this for years ….Especially in the wof. Circles
Also prosperity gospel trash.
Yes, me too and I was there with them decreeing and declaring….smh
You can ask the father for something that he would agree with as long as it is Holy and just. If you are asking for something that is worldly don't waste your time even if you receive it it doesn't mean it's from God. If it is His will. Also understand when you pray to the father sometimes he says yes, no, or not like you think.
Right here is where witchcraft is in the chuches
Amen Eric! And having the discernment to realize the difference between the two.

Excellent Video. Clear. To the point. Keep up the great work. There is so much of this going on in many many churches today. Definitely sharing.
Scripture says “the tongue has the power of life and death.” (Proverbs 18:21)
Jesus gave his disciples the “power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.” (Luke 9:1) How do they do that?
Amen well spoken..decree and declare what God has spoken
I agree with u 💯 I strongly disagree with him!
So do you mean “decreeing and declaring” is valid as long as it’s allowing the Spirit of our Father speaking through us?
I agree with you completely! I stopped listening to Allan when he said that celebrating Halloween is not a sin.
@@sabrinalopez0586 it’s not a sin LOL an apostle Paul told us not to fight over holidays.
Prophetic decree flows naturally when we comprehend and speak from our heavenly position. (Eph 2:6) The power is not in the words we use but in the revelation of our authority in Christ. According to Matt 11:22-23.
Perfect explanation...
Very nice explanation, I now know - never though about it - some people can make it sound sooooo good, wow!!!
Thank you for this word. Confirmation. I needed to hear this as I was actually recently questioning this.
I agree
There are plenty of them in Africa is like a normal thing. The sad thing is that almost everyone believes and practice what they preach without knowing how unbiblical it is.
False teaching is everywhere, not just in Africa. Almost all new testament books warned against it. Some will even call Allen a false teacher. Sister, focus on your relationship with GOD and how you can positively influence your circle to HIM.
