The video was extremely helpful. My handle was broken, so I couldn't get the door open. However, you don't need to open the tailgate to replace the handle. I was able to follow the instructions they gave, and it only took me about 20 minutes. Thanks so much!
Many people who are replacing this part cannot open the tailgate because the handle is broken. I recommend adding a how to open the tailgate without the handle.
This video helped. Thanks. Wasn’t my issue. The cables just got gummed up for me. But seeing how to get in without breaking my trim was extremely helpful
The video was great. My problem is the handle broke. It just flops when I try to use it. SO, how do I get the hatch to OPEN to do the fix? In your video the hatch is already open and I can't open mine.
if you do the first half of this video to get the glass hatch open. pull the plastic back and you'll see two sets of cables. the lower half's cable is visible just below the top lock. pull the cable to release the lower locks.
