- In this video I go over the build process of the 1:14 scale Tamiya Fuel Tank Trailer. This is Part 1 of a two part video series. In this video I go over some tips and tricks that I used in building this trailer during different steps of the build process. In Part 2, I will go over the step-by-step process of building the Tamiya Fuel Tank Trailer while also installing the Tamiya Motorized Support Legs and the Tamiya Semi-Trailer Light Set. For an in depth build process of the legs or the lights please refer to the videos in my Semi-Trailer Accessories playlist. If you have questions or need help with your build please feel free to reach out.

Awesome build Freddy 👍 Steve UK
Thank you Steve!
Same here, barely used liquid thread lock. Came back to have a glance at your tanker 👀
Hey Thomas!! Have to say I’m loving yours. Been watching a few of your videos showing the side pipes, tool boxes, etc. Love it!!
@@FastFreddyRC Thanks buddy. We gotta meet up one of these days and see each others operations. I can't remember you in Nanaimo or Vic?
You should have more views. You will. Good job.
Thanks Paul! Appreciate it!
Nice job, it’s my favourite Tamiya trailer
Thank you! Mine too! I have a Tamiya Cascadia Evo that I'm trying to finish so I can get to pulling this trailer!
It is a great looking trailer! I got the flatbed for my Grand Hauler just because it seemed to fit the style of truck a little more but I can see me getting one of these one day! I would want to put some Dinoco decals on it just for fun!
Dinoco! awesome! Haven't seen that logo in a long time. Great idea! I think you're right though...the truck and trailer have a natural feel. Some trailers look better depending on the rig and visa versa.
Great video. Trailer looks great!
Thank you! Love this trailer.
Awesome build Freddy, Steve UK
@@stevemac9338 Thanks Steve! Appreciate it!
Eu gosto muito de carretas caminhão esse e especial prazer receber vocês parabéns muito obrigado
Thank you!
Thanks for showing and explaining, Freddy.👏
I'm done with the liquid thread-lock, too. Many, many, many painful hours. You'll never knew when or which screw you'll might have to remove. Tamiya as gel-based stuff, which is awesome. Never got an issue when unscrewing those gel secured screws.
The ladder tip is great👍
Hey you're welcome! Exactly!! I just find that more often then not liquid thread-lock has gotten me into trouble over the years. It's just not worth the agony.
awesome awesome
I built one and added the Tamiya Light kit.......EXCELLENT AND SUPER SIMPLE BUILD.
It's great!
Sunglass disclaimer, stare at the trailer at your own risk.

Thanks Larry! Agree with you 100% - This is the most realistic of all the trailers that Tamiya makes and it's quite heavy! One of these days I'll finally get my Cascadia going so I can actually pull it!! lol Thanks for checking it out!
Hello, you said you painted the wheels, i think you mean you painted the tires. I also do not have a big name on mine, yes it looks great as it is.
Hi Harold! You would be correct. I can't remember what I said now but I meant the tires. I just think having the tires stand out makes the whole thing "pop". I just can't see wanting to cover up all that stainless steel!
Can you help or do you know?
If you have 3 trucks with ob1 v3.1m in them and 3 trailers with ob1 v3.1s in them but switch and change combinations as you wish?
Hi Dion! Sorry I missed this post. I’m actually not clear on your question. Can you please explain a bit more?
As far as liquid thread lock, just use the BLUE, YOU ARE NOT stuck with the blue....DO NOT use RED!
If only the kit came with blue! lol
