    im a musical theatre major and im definitely NOT a dancer first but i try to do my best to at least be flexible and this is so easy to incorporate on my everyday routine! you are amazing, thanks for helping me and so many people🦋✨ love your channel💗

    Oh! Thank you so much for this! I’m not a naturally flexible person and since Covid started and my dance studio closed down, I haven’t been keeping up at all! Used to be able to do the splits, but could barely go halfway now! However, just doing this reminded me of why I loved dance so much, because it’s a feeling of pure bliss after you stretch! There’s definitely no excuse for not stretching, and years of work wasted away because I was lazy, but you really encouraged me! Just did this one time, and I already went about 3 inches deeper into the splits than without! Muscle memory is such a remarkable thing!

    Day 14: ✅
    Day 15: ✅
    Day 16: ✅
    Day 17: ✅
    Day 18: ✅

    Day 21: ✅ Enjoyed it!
    Day 22: ✅

    I recommend doing this everyday because it’s a brief amount of time, which is favorable for busy people. And it’s great to boost and maintain flexibility. I gained the ability to do the splits again after doing these stretches.

    Okay so I really want to do this for a month, gonna keep you guys updated (just to keep myself motivated hahaha)
    Day 1: ✅I was surprised at how bad it was going- but made it through!
    Day 2: ❌I forgot to do it already lmao
    Day 3: ✅felt better than the first time
    Day 4: ✅my muscles were kinda sore and I think I pulled a muscle in my calf but I still did the stretch and it felt pretty good!
    Day 5: ❌had a very busy day so I didn’t have time
    Day 6: ✅it didn’t feel as good today, but that’s probably cause i missed yesterday. But made it through!
    Day 7: ✅it’s been a week! Almost faceplanted in the second position stretch xD but it went really well! Really tried to breath through the stretches and relaxing my muscles, with really helped a lot!!
    Day 8: ✅went a lot worse than yesterday, which is kinda disappointing. But, a bad stretching-day is still a stretching-day!
    Day 9: ❌I’m literally so sad that I wasn’t able to stretch today, but had a very busy day again
    Day 10: ❌DANG IT. I forgot to stretch. I’m so angry at myself
    Day 11: ✅had dance class today and we did stretches, so I think that counts!
    Day 12: ✅did this routine again today! Felt okay, so I’m happy :)
    Day 13: ✅stretched again!! Happy to have done so! I don’t have my splits yet but a little tip: get pillows and stack them as high as necessary so that you can let go of the ground to sink deeper in your splits without being in excruciating pain xD
    Day 14: ✅2 weeks babeeeyy! And also the first time I stretched 4 days in a row. Felt pretty good again today, happy with the progress I’m making!!
    Day 15: ✅I’m so happy haha. The stretches felt nice today!
    Day 16: ✅I really should start doing these earlier in the day, because now, I’m doing them at around 9-10pm but I feel like my body is too tired so I thinks it’d be better to stretch the moment I come home from school.
    Day 17: ❌sadly I couldn’t stretch today due to a lack of time but I’m looking forward to stretching again tomorrow!
    Day 18: ✅stretched again today in dance class, I’m getting so close to getting my right splits and my left split is also closer to being flat!!
    Day 19: ❌had a very busy day, unexpectedly :(
    Day 20: ✅it’s 11pm and I might have woken up my parents, but I REALLY wanted to stretch today and I did so I’m happy
    Day 21: ✅3 weeks!! Time is flying by haha, but I did the stretches the second after I came home from school and they felt reallyyy good!!
    Day 22: ✅I stretched today, but what should I say… today really wasn’t my day, the stretches felt extremely uncomfortable and exhausting.. I hope tomorrow will be better!
    Day 23: ✅idk why but the stretches feel so much worse! I really don’t get it…
    Day 24: ❌really didn’t have time today… which kinda sucked but idk maybe my muscles also needed some rest since the last two times felt horrible.
    Day 25: ✅Stretched again at dance class today! Starting to really see improvements! Also did some yoga in the morning so that was nice
    Day 26: ❌I had such a busy today- aaaaa. Another edit: ✅I still decided to stretch. I almost fell 4 times because I was so tired, but it was definitely worth it. Since I was tired it was a lot easier for me to keep breathing and relaxing my muscles, so the stretches still felt surprisingly good.
    Day 27: ✅the stretches didn’t feel great but also not terrible, so I’m content with today
    Day 28: ✅four weeks but guyyssss :(( I’m really not feeling it anymore, the stretches keep going worse and worse… I’m gonna try to drink more water throughout the day and stretch at a different time to see if that helps, I really hope it does
    Day 29: ✅today went a lot better again!! That’s so relieving haha, it really felt like all my work went to waste but it really felt a lot better. Looking forward to tomorrow!
    Day 30: ✅today also felt a lot better than the previous days, so I’m very happy with that! Although I am starting to think that there’s something wrong with my knee. When I’m doing the stretches on one side, they feel fine and my knee doesn’t hurt, but on the other side it feels like a tendon in my knee is on the verge of snapping, though I don’t feel the stretch in my calf or hamstring…
    Day 31: ✅Wow… and that’s one month.. honestly, it flew by. I definitely improved both of my splits but I still don’t have them yet. I do think that there is something wrong with my left leg, so I’m gonna go get that checked out. I honestly don’t think a month is enough, so I think I’m just going to keep this up! :D

    Day 32: ✅stretched in ballet class! Was nice :)
    Day 33: ❌couldn’t stretch today because I didn’t have time again
    Day 34: okay so I
    Day 35: didn’t stretch
    Day 36: for four days… oops👉👈
    Day 37: ✅guess who stretched again today :D very happy and I didn’t loose too much of the progress that I made!! Yay!
    Okay so I really didn’t do these stretches for 2 weeks or something… I think I’m going to start again when Christmas break begins :) NOT giving up yet hahah

    I’m a ballet dancer and this helped me SO much! I had a ballet exam and they said my flexibility was an excellent! (There is on level, needs improvement, and excellent). Ever since I started doing your stretch routine I got so much more flexible! Thank you 🩰🤍

      After the third exercise my whole body was cramping from the stretches as well aw from the strength that I have to put only to keep my balance and just try to do the exercise😂😭

      lol I'm 12 years old and it is now just a basic warm-up for me nothing to the extreme but there was a point where I could not do any of this but I kept trying harder every single day and now I am where I want to. keep pushing you will get there ;DDD

    I do ballet and I’ve been doing these stretches for only a couple days and have already seen significant improvement in my flexibility and hopefully when I start dancing again I’m pretty flexible 😅

    I did almost nothing but dance from the age of 3 until I graduated high school in 2016. After that my interest was still there but I had college to do and everything else, so I did it less. And then in 2018 I was hit by a car and couldn't kneel on my right knee whatsoever. I still struggle with it, but I finally feel like I'm getting to a place where I can get back into stretching, and I am so glad to have found this video. It's all the stretches I remembered and more!! After the warm up I was out of breath and sweaty, and I couldn't hold any of the stretches for their entire duration, but, hopefully as I do this every day it will get better! Thank you so much for this simple stretching video, I really hope I can commit to it and fully get back into dance as a whole :)

    I do middle school musical theater as a 6th grader and you'd be surprised at how much flexibility it requires for the choreography (the boys get easier choreography for some reasons though). This was super helpful!

    Hey! This stretchings was really hard- BUT I still follow those stretchings and after doing those stretches, I tried to do some developés' AND I noticed that my extensions got higher!!! Thank you, this was helpful 😊❤ We love you, Mackenzie! Stay Safe~✨

      I'm not Mackenzie but... Honestly, you can't get your splits fast. It just takes time and consistency. Stretching consistently is going to play a big part in how soon you get them. If you aren't consistently stretching, then it's going to take a significantly longer amount of time to get your splits. Stretch every day but if you feel like your body needs a break, then take a break for a day, because if you injure yourself, that will set back your progress. If you are a beginner, it might be better to stretch 3-4 times a week instead of every day. Just listen to your body and do what feels right to you. Remember that these things take time, and be patient with yourself. I hope this helps ❤

    I'm not a dancer, but i really wanna get flexible like you are. I was a little flexible before because I used to do ballet stretches and then I stopped doing it because of my studies and...I've lost a bit of my flexibility, so I'm tryna work on it, now that I've finished your workout session, honestly, it was very painful but i liked it very much, it was very refreshing. I'm gonna do it every day now.

    I’m gonna be keeping a log of my stretching, to remember this and to motivate myself. I used to do ballet as a toddler, and I really want to get back into it, but I need to work on my flexibility first.
    Day 1: ✅- difficult but I got through- could barely reach some stretches
    Day 2: ✅-not as bad but still hard
    Day 3:✅- still rough but got through it
    Day 4:✅
    Day 5:❌

    Hay thanks for this. I’ve been doing these stretches for about a month now and I’m already noticing big results. I couldn’t do side splits all the way to the ground when I started but now I’m pretty close to the ground and it shouldn’t be much longer until I’m able to.
