- Hi it's Kim :)
I've started studying for the gamsat around this time of 2020 and will be going onto studying postgraduate dentistry starting next year. Here's a video going through some tips and strategies that you may try incorporating into your study. This is part 1 out of 2 videos. Part 2 will go over the study timeline and the mental strategies to adopt for the exam.

Really found this video super helpful, thank you so much! Just curious is you could provide a video on your UWA dentistry application + interview, thanks!
I'm glad you found this helpful :) And yes I can definitely do a video on the UWA dent interview tips, cheers!
if im from a non science background and im sitting in sept - what key tips could u give?
also be great to know some of those poetry books too :)
i feel like ur super smart with the scores you got and im completely dreading the exam esp the science and section 1 - i did a practice test for S1 timed and got 46 - just to see where i was at with no prep/study
feel really low about it
mate if u got 46 with no prep ur chill with prep
Hello, nice video! Since you are a maths wiz could you do a video on GAMSAT specific maths tips and tricks! That would be amazing.
Sure thing! I'll brainstorm and see what I can come up with
@@jkimsdiary4772 Looking forward to it!
Hi Kim! Nice video, congrats on such a great score. Hoping you got into Med. this year. Can you please shed some light on the percentage of questions you might have gotten right to get 86 in S3? What I mean is raw score vs GAMSAT score?
Hi Rocky, I've accepted an offer to study dent at uwa 2022. I ended up guessing around 10 questions and answering the rest. But out of the ones I've answered it's likely I got a few wrong as well. I'm not sure about raw scores as I've heard Acer scale each score based on the 'difficulty'.
@@jkimsdiary4772 What about raw scores for S3 ACER practise material?
@@tommarsland2219 I got 76,79,85 for Acer practice tests 1,2,3 each respectively. But I can't remember if I did these under timed conditions or not.
@@jkimsdiary4772 that is reassuring! I'm currently 77 and 82 for prac test 1 and 2 so hopefully I can get an amazing score like yours
@@tommarsland2219 You can do it!
Thank you I love you.
crazy
thanks for the video, very informative
Hey Kim, can you please share link for where to find Des o Neil ?
Hello, thank you for your video! I was wondering where you got the Des'O neil pdfs from?
Hello Kim will you suggest reading question first or read that long stem first. Also for practice what would you recommend doing timed or untimed practice?
I read the long stem once first before reading the question and then going back into the stem for a specific part. For practice initially I wouldn't worry about timed practice, however closer to your gamsat date, you can start doing timed practice :)
Done do done lo 👌
