    I really enjoy your videos on detailing. Your eloquent speech is just a plus. Greetings from Kansas City, Kansas. I do miss the UK as I was stationed at RAF Greenham Common in the late 80s-early 90s. When I was younger I spent many hours detailing my newly purchased very used Sixties Thunderbirds and Lincolns. Now I pace myself and clean a little at a time. Hope you read this four months after the initial posting.

    Hmm, what a great presentation. I am curious how effective the device is at removing the water embedded in the car seat; how much time passed before the seats were dry enough to sit upon (and that should be completely dry)? Cool to see this used inside the home as well. Turbo boost is a long overdue feature, and self-cleaning, too.

    The OnePwr Blade 3, that I have is basically the same machine. But the 3 is only supplied with the 3ah batteries, which are crap. One of the two batteries that came with my machine recently died. However Vax replaced it with a 4ah battery free of charge, as it was still under guarantee. And the 4ah battery is much better if you use the machine on boost mode, as it gives nearly double the cleaning time as the 3ah.
    The OnePwr Blade cleaners are great with the 4ah batteries, that are supplied with the Blade 4 and Blade 5 cleaners.

    i got a spotwash vac recently from vax as in the video, they are amazing, only downside was the side fill on the clean water holder, but you can use a jug and just check the level standing it up, so not too much of a bother, well recommended!

    Good choice with the CRZ, I've owned my CRZ GT with OEM carbon fibre look kit since 2017. Super reliable, it's no sports car as a Mini Cooper S would rinse it but it's nippy enough and always makes me smile and look back at it after locking.
    Having owned CRXs (MK I and II) when I was younger, it's a modern take on them.. albeit heavier and not as agile.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I never liked the vax tools for cleaning the car, I;ve not been impressed with the build quality of their stick vacs in recent years. Had a blade max 2 and it was alright, but never managed to do the same job, as a vax upright vaccum. It was good for dusting and light dirt, but forget it if there is a heavier soling. There was also range anxiety with the cordless, and always felt I was running out of power when I got to the boot. I've got a Nilfisk buddy 2 and never been happier. probably the best vaccum I've had. Also the Bissell portable cleaner has been the best for me for car interiors, and has lasted years, and have the option of using the nilfix as that extra dry :)

    I’ve been using a pet brush from an old vacuum on my hose for years, It does a good job. I wish someone would create one that can be attached and powered, so the brush is always spinning. When I apply to much pressure, the brush slows way down.

  • @HantsLeo

  • @kennyg4744

    I bought the VAX Spotwash. Its very good, but the hose is at least half a meter too short. You end up having to have the machine in the car beside you in some areas, which can be tricky.

  • @kenc2257

    Good video Joe. That looks like a handy tool to have for detailing. I have a similar small cordless vac that I use for quick clean ups. I still have my GEORGE vacuum for the routine heavy cleaning when needed. Those cordless vac's are handy for quick clean ups. I usually use it when I return with my 370Z and put it away in the garage until the next adventure with it.

    Definitely gonna have a look at that wet vac though, just wonder how it stacks up against the bissell spot clean pro. Looks like the hose is longer which is already a massive bonus!
