Hi i love your straight forward informative style of reviews hints and tips on the equipment, products and how to use them, i find your videos helpful and enjoyable to watch, i've learned alot from watch them, i subscribed to your channel abit ago as i've recently turned my interest in car detailing into a fledgling little business, it would be extremely helpful and useful if you could give your hints and tips on how to start and grow a car detailing business and lastly it's very refreshing to see a woman detailer in a sea of male detailers well done and i look forward to seeing the rest of your TH-cam videos and future videos aswell 😀
Best video I've seen so far on the vax spot wash - no faffing about opening boxes here 😆 I've just got the same upgraded machine and this video is going to really help, I'm particularly glad you mentioned using just water to rinse, I did wonder if the solution would leave a sticky residue (I've got mine for rug & carpet stair use mainly) - I got a ton of solutions with mine so really happy. Thanks so much for this video - good job! 💜
I have been sitting on the fence on another extractor for a month or more, never pushed the button because despite the reviews, there was something about it I didn’t like that I could never put my finger on. Been really needing one of these, but ‘the doc’ just didn’t tick all the boxes. Tonight TH-cam thought I should see your video, and I’m glad it did. Splendid review, you highlighted everything I wanted to know, and nothing I didn’t. Just bought one with your £80 off code, thank you! Look forward to your next review, keep up the great work!!
Nice review, I have the more basic model and will stick with it as it’s not too old, I like to have my cleaning solution in a spray bottle rather than use the tank, I feel I have better control over the delivery that way. Keep up the good work, thanks for the videos, always good content
Such an informative video as usual- only thing I’d add would be using an APC and a drill brush on a really soiled interior. I prefer a bigger hose and tank to make things easier but that still looks like a decent bit of kit. Thanks 🙏
Amazing Video Heather! I do have a Vax but generally I use something like a Wet Vac vacuum. Stronger suction and thats my personal preference. Still, great video for people to see the different options available keep it up! 👊👏
Thanks! The deal is still active btw! If you use this link and then use the code "MAX" at checkout you'll get the discount: www.vax.co.uk/carpet-cleaners-and-washers/spot-washers/vax-spotwash-max-pet-plus-stain-removal-kit?&
Once again another fantastic and informative video Heather Funny enough I brought the exact same one about 2 months ago had to use it a really bad stained seat and it did work great.
Great review heather, i bought the basic vax spot wash a couple of years ago. Found it quite good but a little lacking in suction power. I've got pale grey alcantara seats which soon get grubby, have to be very careful with alcantara as it soon bobble up . Will have to look into upgrading to one of these for my part time valeting work. Your my favourite detailing channel along with Paul dolden, your alot prettier than him though 😊.
Thanks for watching James 😊 yeah I definitely noticed a step up with this compared to the basic one. That’s still a great machine for the price but if you’re doing it more often then the Max is more useful, the crevice and wide attachments are very handy as well
Bought one of these and returned it. It’s got a very small motor and I found it gutless. I did however buy the upright machine from vax which has way more guts and love it.
Essa extratora, trará outro patamar á sua limpeza automotiva... como bancos, tapetes internos, forros de porta e teto dos carros. E também á limpeza de estofados da casa e colchões. Ótima aquisição.
@@AutoCareHQ it's better built than the Dyson we had before it and it does what it says on the box. The only thing it doesn't do is get dirty cockapoo footprints from car upholstery.
This is a brilliant little tool but I wish I had bought this model as I would have liked the suction hose cleaning facility but I guess I was lucky that I got the extra tools apart from the spinning circular tool.
My George just died this week, he’d been going for 6 years but was a pain to set up in particular for a small job. I’d been considering one of these type machines and that promo code is amazing definitely worth looking into more
Thanks for the video Heather. Has that VW got a herd of cows going through it every week? I own a Bissel Hydrowave/ Hydroshot (name depends on where you live), which is both a vacuum cleaner and extractor. It's great in having a large solution tank and heating the water, does a good job of vacuuming and extracting, but it's REALLY heavy! I have tested the Vax that you mention and, to borrow a phrase from a varnish commercial, it does exactly what it says on the tin! Well worth having in your valeting arsenal.
I cleaned a Toyota Camry interior and the seats had a hard feel to them, They didn't look that bad but felt bad And all i can say was chocolate water milkshake. And after they felt soft and smelt better (not that i go around smelling car seats at all)
I’d love to see a video on how to pack up all your equipment after a detail so it’s ready for the next vehicle, I feel like it’s important but nobody talks about it.
Pro tip: Hydrogen Peroxide is the best thing for stains. Test patch first, obviously. The pharmacy grade stuff is already diluted enough to go straight on.
Hi Heather I have the same car as you in the same shade of red, how would you recommend cleaning the red interior paint matched to exterior panels on the inside of the doors?
I had one of these but got rid of it after a couple of months. It does work well as an extractor, but the hose is just too short and the machine gets in the way when doing vehicle interiors. and becomes a trip hazard. If it was just 1 meter longer it would make a huge difference. I contacted VAX to see if the offered a longer hose, but they never got back to me. I also contacted them as they claim it is 30% more powerful than the Spot Wash machine. But there are no technical details on their website to back this claim up. Again, they did not reply to me.
I’m more into exteriors as well, I do like getting a nice transformation on the interior though. The owners on a lot of the cars I do I think appreciate the interior being clean more

Thanks for watching! I'm really glad it was useful :)
It's nice to have an extractor. I bought a Bissel Spotclean Pro. Fair price and it does a good job on seats, carpets and mats.
Thanks for watching!

Nice review Heather 👍 something else for me to buy now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cheers Brian! Haha I’m sorry the videos are a bad influence 😂
Congrats on taking on the Sponsorship and taking us through the process of this machine.
Thank you!
Great information. Well done. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching Paul 😊

Thank you! Yeah that’s a great combo, I wouldn’t be without my drill brushes either
These are great, I have got a spot wash and it does an amazing job
Such a helpful vid, I was looking a while back for spot cleaner reviews. This is going to help a lot of people.
Thanks very much :)
Thanks Heather. Looks like a good extractor, I've one of their regular carpet cleaners at home and might give this a try for the cars.
Thanks for watching!

I got an ad come up for a spot wash while watching this video haha
Great review…and wow I like that, that’s really good. Very impressed.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome job! If only that cracking deal went for 1 week longer, I'd be allnover this! Thanks for the great content💣💥💯

Very handy machine does a good job.
Iv got the old duo one it's really good but this looks on a different level great video Heather
Cheers Dave!
Awesome review, and top tip on the discount, just went and bout the whole thing.

Great review Heather. We have a vax vacuum cleaner, which is really good. This would be a useful addition to my car cleaning tools.👍
Cheers Michael 😊 how are you getting on with the vacuum cleaner?

Thanks Jamie :) Haha honestly I wouldn't be surprised 😂 I keep telling the owner to get a decent seat cover but they still haven't unfortunately haha
Very nice something to buy for me thank you so much for sharing enjoyed watching
Thanks very much for watching Sam!
@@AutoCareHQ you're very welcome
Nice review Heather 👍😁
Thanks Dave!

Yeah it's really gross how the fabric feels before the extraction! Even on generally well looked after cars it can make a massive difference
Great review.
What do you find to be the best product/method to clean alcantara seats?
Thank you! Garage Therapy Interior Cleaner works very well, I usually use it at about 1:15
Great review heather I want one now 😂
Cheers Adrian! 😂
I’d love to see a video on how to pack up all your equipment after a detail so it’s ready for the next vehicle, I feel like it’s important but nobody talks about it.
Even how you organise everything so you can get straight to work before starting the detail
Great review...mine doesnt seem to have the hose clean function?
Thanks! I've had a double check on the website and it looks like all the different versions have the hose clean function.
Looks like a good machine might have to upgrade 😅 could we see a review of the Autoperfekt product range possibly in the future 🤔
Thanks for watching 😊 I’ll keep an eye out for their products when I do a restock!
Ayyyyy get that ££££, Vax sponsorship is dope. Discount code when? 😅
Edit: Turns out the discount code is at the end! 😂
Haha glad you found it 😂 cheers for watching!
I think the golf owner needs car seat covers!
The worrying thing is that they do use them 😂 can't imagine how bad they would be without them!
Pro tip: Hydrogen Peroxide is the best thing for stains. Test patch first, obviously. The pharmacy grade stuff is already diluted enough to go straight on.
How long does it take for the seats to dry
Is this suitable for indoors on my suite ?
Yep I've used it on mine
Hi Heather I have the same car as you in the same shade of red, how would you recommend cleaning the red interior paint matched to exterior panels on the inside of the doors?
I go with a quick detailer spray and a plush towel (like the Rag Company Eagle 500)
@@AutoCareHQ thank you so much for the advice I really appreciate it!
@@majstig1 no worries! It's quite a delicate finish so just be gentle with it to avoid marking it :)
@@AutoCareHQ it certainly is, do you ever hand polish it?
I haven't actually, it'd be tough to do though with it being so soft
👍

Thanks for commenting Kenny. That's a shame you didn't get on with it. Did you contact them on social media or via email?
Hell yeah! It’s nice to see a female do this work. 🎉
First!!!!

👍👍😀👏
I hate interiors
