@@manhwaforlife-r1v I’ve just bought the Vax SpotWash Home Pet-Design Spot Cleaner and there was a bottle of Vax wash solution with it. However, when it runs out I will have no worries about using an alternative brand if cheaper.
The larger Max ones seem to be on offer for around £150 at the moment, just off to collect mine. 😊

Sound attacked my Isuzu carpets this weekend and yes a considerable amount of the brown stuff was extracted, cleaned all the carpets twice and matts. Vehicle smells consideralbly fresher. Finished of by cleaing the stairs in home. Brownie points keeeerching. Great next day service by Vax.

I got the smaller home one in this video (not the pet version so didn't get the rotary attachment) earlier in the year and used it in the house to clean the fabric sofa and a few emergency spillages.
Its really good for something quick and easy to use.
I did initially buy it to wet vac my 8 year old car seats but never got around to it so that'll be next spring summer job now.

On serious note i looked over these recently and ended up with the Bissel spot pro as i found the quality of build better, plus it was more powerful and backed by a 3 year warranty.

Did you get any answer from VAX on a side by side technical comparison between the Max and the Spotwash duo ?
A very 'interesting' (I say interesting lots too🤣) insight into the world of Vax extraction machines. What are the length of the suction pipes? What are the noise levels like in terms of loudness? We use Numatic Georges for full valets and Bissell Spotcleans for not-too-bad mini-valets and sold re-cleans. They are quite boomy. Some valeters can get tinnitus after using those after more than about half an hour.

My big Vax platinum had the spin scrub toil about 5 years ago… but if you mean first “spotwash” then, still wrong because my Vax Onepwr spotwash had one and that’s about 5 years old too 😂

It would have been nice for it to come on wheels so as you move you can pull the machine with you instead of lifting it.

Hi Jon. Biggest issue I have is space in the work van when valeting/detailing. How would you say the Max compares to Numatic George for effectiveness?
A full size unit will have more power and more reach and store more and be able to carry more dirty liquid. But the Max unit certain has enough power to use in a professional capacity and takes up less space and is very quick to setup. ultimately see if you can have a try or borrow one because thats the only way to know. But the 70quid discount is good and for 150 quid its a really strong price.

Seriously good machines mate,I got myself one couple months ago and it's been brilliant,have got any ideas of other cleaning fluids that can be used from the car cleaning world?I'd like to try something I can purchase easily,ultimately though this is a really good demo video mate....
you need to use fluids that are suitable with extraction machines. Not all APC and degreasers are and prolongued use with the wrong chemicals could damage the machine and the poly carb components.

Does this vax have a self clean function comparing to the older model, nice introduction but would have nice to see more of a demo on both machines on soiled carpets
the Max has self clean the home does not. I will defo demo these more I need to clean some bits in the porsche.

I’ve been eagerly waiting someone to review the new max duo… I’m weighing it up vs the bissell spotclean pro both of which seem to review well. It would have been good to see a bit more of it in a “on test” setting and to hear your thoughts on its power compared to the previous model. Can you have a look over the machine to see if you can see any indication as to the wattage of the motor in the max there must be a data label somewhere? Bissell advertise theirs as 750w but VAX say absolutely nothing in on theirs about the motor and their sales/technical team have no info on it either. I have 18month old twin boys who cause carnage as well as cars which need a good clean 😅. Power is not the be all and end all but it’s a good metric to start comparing actual power
Hey Andrew So this is not a review, this is a payed for promotion #ad. So im not critiquing the item. I will be using the tool more and doing some informal stuff with it soon. But the new Max power unit is superb and the current deal of 150 quid for what your getting is really good. If your on a really tight budget then the original spotwash is 89 pounds. But get the Max if you can.
Me too comparing Bissell pro heat with this vax machine , this vax is 500w
@@0roady2 I actually went with the recommendation of ordering the VAX on Black Friday. I was disappointed to see that it was easy enough to see the 500w stamp on the bottom but hey ho. It does a good enough job clearing up after messy kids I will always be left wondering whether the extra power of the Bissell would make any difference or be better. I’m sure at some point someone will do a side by side comparison and I guess then I will know.

Is the hose longer than the Spot Wash Duo? This irritated me so much, I got rid of the machine. Can I use Koch PO instead of the VAX solution?
i would guess it is mate but Im not at home to check the specs right now but the specs should be in the vax website.
@@ForensicDetailing Unfortunately not on the spotwash duo, So can compare. No mention of hose length or power rating. I would have expected to see 2m or 3m hose and maybe 700w or 1100W motor. Grateful if you could speak to you contact at VAX and get a side by side comparison of performance and features with the MAX and the spotwash duo
I assume these are only 220v and they don’t have 120v US model?
not sure mate but if I had to guess it would be 220v only at the moment

The crevice tool comes with both machines. But get the Max its currently got a 70 quid discount so its virutally same price.
