@@unduloid Unfortunately my tracks rarely fit a certain genre strictly, usually I categorize myself to tech house as it was the umbrella term for this stuff when I was young. Unfortunately I'm no longer young nor is the tech house tech house 🤷🏻♂️😂
@@minikuiotoko Dub techno has been around for quite a while already. The difficulty is to make the most out of as few elements as possible. Maybe, as a challenge, you could try to make a track with only half of the stuff you see on screen here.
@@unduloid Well, to most artists it's a necessity to keep it small and then spam effects from their PC as they refuse to believe their sound is in the outboard gear instead of the synths and they probably don't have the financial means to gain access to more gear anyways. More power to them, I've tried to make my setup so anyone can easily get it with very small investments; you don't see anything expensive on my table. Whether it's a necessity to stay small to everyone, I don't know. Personally I try and keep the elements relevant to the track; does it serve a purpose or not? If not, out it goes. I don't use all of my stuff most of the time, as it doesn't serve a purpose. Then again, I still lack certain capabilities that I need to acquire in the form of more hardware or upgraded existing gear. I could make a full track just with the sampler. Or just with the microfreak, sampling the instruments I make with it. But what's the point when I can just use all the gear at the same time to make a full track. It suites my workflow and having a dedicated hammer for the nail you want to hit is a convenience 🤷♂
I'd rather play with myself than that keybed for sure 😂 I just ordered balanced cables and a few VESA mounts for the stuff, hopefully it'll clear the random snap, crackle and pops 😁

More or less surprisingly they design products like that for the women, but I'm sure they'll get a comment from the insecure men here and there, too 😁

I could make a full track just with the sampler. Or just with the microfreak, sampling the instruments I make with it.
