We got planned certain malls that we will be visiting, but we think we might come back to KL for Christmas. Any recommendation on where to spend Christmas in Malaysia?
@carmaadventures That sounds lovely. Christmas Eve, I'm not very sure about that part, but I know that there are many places in KL especially in the 5 star hotels that organize events and dinners for Christmas. KL, I think is the best place to celebrate your Christmas in Malaysia. 😁
Hey, why not invite your parents and family to Malaysia? Even though we're mostly Muslim, we love celebrating all kinds of festivals, like Halloween, Chap Goh Mei, and Bon Odori. You'll be amazed at how into festivals Malaysians are! The mall decorations here are crazy good, even better than some places in the US or UK.
We would love to, it's nothing to do with the religion, is more with logistics. It is a long journey for them to come here, so it's pretty much impossible, but it's our decision to stay and we will make the best of our time in Malaysia for the celebrations
@OppoA3x-l8u What our friend meant is that although Malaysians are predominantly Muslims, there are also other non-Muslims who are celebrating all sort of festivals & some are non-religious, too. Some are local festivals, some are international festivals, like Halloween, Bon Odori, Anime Expo, etc. Locals, including Muslims are into some of these festivals, e.g. Bon Odori, because of their interests in Japanese culture, Japanese language, their food, etc. It has nothing to do with religion & there is no misleading/wrong info. 👌🙂
Hopefully your subscribers (who celebrate Xmas)will invite you guys to their "open house" during Xmas in Malaysia
Thank you so much 🫶
This is the first time we talk about how we feel whilst travelling. Sometimes we need to make hard decisions and this is one of them 🥹
Thank you for sharing the beginning of your journey traveling around the world, the stories behind the scenes. All the best to you guys.
Are you guys planning to film some of the beautiful Christmas decorations around the malls in KL before you guys moved to a new destination.
