I think the armadillo should roll fully into Block instead of its arms and head poking out, because the underbelly and the head are it's weakest and least protected body parts. But mostly because I want to keep the armadillo in a constant state of fear.
I get the feeling that they will consider spamming armadillos for infinite scutes as a bug, which is probably for the best imo. I am guessing they will probably put a timer on each armadillo, during which time it can only produce a limited amount of scutes. I also think they will probably add some sort of protection to armadillos while they are curled up, or at least not be able to give scutes while curled up.
You guys didn't test it in survival; it wears the brush's durability FAST. From a brand new one, it only took 5 uses for the brush to completely break. Edit: Maybe I shouldn't have stopped before reaching 2:50....

Silent... I messed up making a really way oversized potion brewer and I don't want to redo it. I basically made most of a potion factory. I left the ingredient storage for last because I've done a million and a half storage rooms and I figured that would be the easy part.... The part I overlooked is that I have to make 2 signals into 9 signals for me to use any setup that I know that is tileable. The worst part is that my first design of my programming circuit and queue system completely bypasses this problem, but I redesigned the whole thing to work similar to how I've seen someone do it in the past because of space, speed, and cost (I am designing in creative but I want to build it in my survival world some day). Now I have a big problem that I don't have any ideas of how to solve. I just need a tileable way to turn 2 signals from one line, into 9 signals. I need to put 14 of these next to each other and run them into 14 different droppers. I am never going to have enough lingering potions in survival to make the machine work so they don't exist. Though I will eventually add a button for one brew cycle of whatever lingering potion you want, but redstone glowstone and gunpowder are all separate lines with basically as much space as I need since they are above the build. I thought of a better system for the distribution system that I still need to test, but this problem has put a big stop to my almost done project. The last potion machine your entire server will ever need. I call it the industrial minecraft meth lab. The turtle already serves it's own functionality in the game (albeit not a really useful one tbh) but it still has it's own unique use. We had the opportunity to vote in a new mob that has the functionality of wolf armor and the way I see it the armadillo would be a better mob for it than the turtles considering it's size, shape, colour, etc. So in conclusion I don't believe that it would have been a smooth addition developer wise to use the turtle as a source of wolf armor considering how it already has its own use and the theming of the turtle would not fit the concept of wolf armor. (Sorry for a long paragraph I just wanted to say this lol, if we are going to keep talking please keep it respectable.)

Not too impressed with the texture, color or animation of the armadillo nor the texture of the dog armor. Spider eyes to breed armadillos and shears to remove the armor from the dog? Swing and a miss. Kinda regretting my vote here. Oh well.
I envisioned the armor to be a bit more bulky, which would have looked cool, especially if there was a few inventory slots on it. Have the ability to put thorns on the armor and the dog might actually be worth the trouble
So people say its useless, that the armor wont do anything to help a dog that just sits there. The point of the armor is protect the dog and allow him to survive when you have him with you. It takes away the headache of needing to kill the mobs that come after you while youre doing your thing.
In my experience, my pet wolves are more sensitive to heights than zombies, but if armor can help survive a creeper, then I need it. Plus the skeleton hunting that I do is quite risky. 🦴🐕
@@kanyewest5216 The main reason people don't use wolves is because they die too easily. With the armor it will help with that, making people use wolves more.

You could hook a chicken, drowned, and bamboo farm into a crafter to craft infinite brushes for infinite scute.
