Just put this set up on my 2007.5. 4x4. So far so good, definitely 200 degree lower EGT. I plan on putting the Banks Monster intake on to wake this up. I pull 15k trailer daily for work and a Montana 36' 5th wheel for vacations. Truck always has a trailer on her back. Will see how long this turbo lasts, I have no engine power mods. I took of the Front Right tire, wheel well, battery tray and battery. Only half hour more and it opened up the whole side of the engine for access. I even crawed up through wheel well area for much easier access to Everything!
Great video. Great comparison of the two. I was considering this setup for my 6.7, 6 SPD. I'm sold. It's great to hear real world testimony, not just marketing information. Thank you.
What was the final verdict of the hardware? Did you need any of the items from the additional hardware kits that you bought or was everything supplied with the new exhaust manifold and turbo?
If you just ordered the manifold and turbo the only additional thing your going to need is manifold to block gaskets but everything else would come with the 2 pieces. The turbo comes with everything you would need to install the turbo if that's all you were going to do and same with the manifold, they supply all the necessary stuff except for the actual manifold gaskets.
I'm definitely gonna look into this setup, does the vgt need calibration? Did you notice the exhaust brake hitting any harder? I've been looking into upgrading my charger but I refuse to get rid of the exhaust brake.
It already comes calibrated and 100% ready to go, just driving the truck empty we noticed it hits harder up high and about the same down low but I'm curious to get more feedback once he is actually hauling with it
I just cant get tired of replaying the 10 seconds starting from 15:23.

Need too see more test drive footage w this set up. Can’t leave us hanging like that. Lol
I am going to get my hands on the truck again soon and do a better driving/follow up video. The wind noise was so bad I couldn't use any of it 😫
@@Cargill450 looking forward to it. Thanks
Nice one ! Looks like a good setup 👍🏻
It should be really strong once all the bugs are worked out of the truck
Very nice thanks for the video
