@@kip258 I wonder if you can use the B9 glitch to get the bike. Or if there's a glitch to set your money to a glitch number. Although I don't know why they would program the game to even check if you have the money.

How to get a bicycle for free:
Step 1. Hold left near a cycling road.
Done.
I'm more concerned about the old man in the wall, but this is neat.
The bicycle you get by glitching into Cycling Road is either a free trial, or that Red is pretending he's riding a bicycle.
Reminds me of one of the Pippi Longstockings movies, where she rides a bike without a front wheel (or was it without both wheels?) and falls to the ground only after being told that that doesn't make any sense.

When sequence breaking is actually useful, it is truly a wonderful thing.
So we aren't gonna talk about the ghost man in the wall behind the guard. Just pretend that is normal and tuck it away hiding it under the cherry bike music. Works for me

20 years later I'm glad people are enjoying these glitches that we found out without internet but rather because of frustration and boredom.
Am I the only one that seems that every biker in the old pokemon games all seem to ride on a tricycle?

hey i remember actually finding this glitch by accident when i first played the game and barely knew any english and didnt have the bicycle 🤣 i had almost completely forgotten about it
Gen 1 is held by store brand tape and I love it
I discover this accidentally as a kid, loved this glitch, specially since it allowed me to get to the safari zone and get surf and stronger pokemons early

As a kid I always found the pokemon games to be kinda linear in terms of arena order. But with the help of glitches I found out you can have much more of an open world experience as you'd might think.

This is honestly ridiculous lol. Amongst glitches, this seems more like a simple and blatant oversight than a mistake in the coding. Maybe they just assumed children would be more obedient to that authority figure and his ominous wall-clipping ghost buddy
