Most people today, don't realise, or have forgotten, why the Soviet Union crushed the huge western army of Hitler and all his allies. That happened soon after Stalin declared the opening of the 'Second Front' of the Red army arsenal.. a huge military industrial complex behind the Ural mountains. In it, the Soviets produced all of their superior new weapons systems...The Rocket propelled Katusha artillery, the new Mig tank killers aircraft, the new upgraded varieties of heavy Soviet tanks, and the legendary upgraded T34s...and the list goes on and on.. By the time the Germans knew what was hitting them so hard, shredding their 'invincible' army to smitherins...it was too late...the Russian Red Army had entered Germany.
That was the famous Soviet Second front ... The ability to respond and manufacture winning practical weapons in huge numbers, easy to operate in practical terms, and delivering the fire power, other countries can't produce.
Today, not much has changed...only the Russians have become masters now, of producing the most effective firepower.. No ifs..No buts...The proof is all out here, to be seen in all modern wars, up to today.

Hehe, you better stop swallowing gov controlled western mainstream news straight down without thinking.
Russia are still only have military operation in Ukraine, as Putin said in every speech, Russia have a goal to demilitarized Ukraine completely.
And wipe out US trained soldiers and western weapons.
As Putin said after biden admits that he wanted to weakening Russia and have a regime change, it's not Ukraine who's Russia's real enemy. US are Russia's main enemy, you are aware of it's still military operation ?
Russia have not decided to declare any war against Ukraine, neither have Ukraine against Russia.
US are using Ukraine and their nato alliance trying to weakening Russia, yes.
Did you know that obama already in 2008 gave green light to start working on getting control over Ukraine ?
Jeffrey Sachs said it, he was shocked.
Because he knew US crossing Russia's red line.
Responsible politicians in Washington also knew that, it was their plan.
After US successfully had their presidential coup in Ukraine 2014.
US started training and prepare Ukrainian military for this tragic proxywar trying to weakening Russia together with sanctions.
US was confident that they would crush Russia with sanctions and kicking Russia out of SWIFT payment system.
So US blocked the world trade with Russia.
Well, sadly for US Russia of course knew what US working on and planned.
So Russia already had their own payment system without using dollar together with China bank.
So that the world freely could trade with Russia, and it's nothing US could do about it.
US failed with absolutely everything they trying to weakening Russia with.
Russia and Ukraine are the two largest bread basket countries in the world, that's why US trying to weakening Russia.
Control over the food and energy that the world needs from Russia and Ukraine.
US would managed to get control over the world 🌎
But They ending up weakening themselves dollar and Europe more.
Heard 41 new countries want to join BRICS alliance and use their new payment system without using dollar 💵
That's why responsible politicians and globalist elites are so desperate right now, what's going on geopolitical just now.
Are really serious for US, world didn't like US cynical plan using Ukraine and sanctions trying to weakening Russia.
So this tragic proxywar make US much more weaker, everything is going wrong way for US.
Jeffrey Sachs says that he is not surprised, he said US have had over 100 war's around the world since 1991.
And still threatening with economic sanctions if they don't support US interest trying to get control over Russia.
43 countries have US sanctions against just now.
biden administration are freezing themselves from the rest of the globe.
That's a fact, do some research on BRICS expansion, you understand what I am talking about.

What happened to the ground breaking T-14? Russia has had problems with production an they stated they were making 60 new units per month. Overhauling older models is time consuming and didn’t address the inherent problems of the self loading system and stowage of live ammunition in the turret and floor. Last week the Ukrainians destroyed the plant that manufactures electro-optical systems for all Russian tanks as well as being cut off from cut off from importing Swedish and French fire control systems, computer chips for engines and other electronics! Wonder if this is a face saving propaganda report minimizing the failure of Russia’s armor designs. Ukraine has reduced the Russian Ka-52 Alligator fleet by an estimated 25%of Russias total machines. With 25% losses I’m sure crews aren’t overly excited to man these machines. Where is the Su-57 Felon Russia’s world beating 4.5th generation fighter. India walked away from buying and manufacturing the fighter as it did not meet it’s specifications or role. Basically Russia lost the cash to make India’s and their own planes from the profits. There are no other buyers so far. The war has hurt Russia’s military sales and reputation with its massive equipment loses in Ukraine to Western equipment. This is not good as the military sales finances the Russian military.

No new tank will make a difference , T34 , T50 and those old Tanks will make a difference . These new tanks will be commanders for critical push and strategic operation , but for maintaining the battle line the old tanks will do . Tank is a Tank , AK 47 still works . of ocurse Russia has to upgrade , not because they need it for Ukraine , but because they need to sell it . This is why they made it , to keep up . Not becase they need it , they dont need it for Ukraine , its an Urban warfare , Drones , artillery and Air power supporting troops on the ground , simple as that . Simple is good .

It’s a good tank no doubt but it doesn’t have any major changes that I see would improve their biggest survivability problem with catastrophic ammo rack hits that cause the tank and crew to be lost. A big problem with Russian tanks is they can’t make them fast enough due to shortages in material and manpower combined with the fact their knocked out tanks are more likely to be subjected to a catastrophic loss where the tank cannot be recovered and the crew is lost.

The NLAW has proven almost useless Javlin a 50% failure to fire or detonate ratio. Given even trained US troops struggle to get a hit just 19% on a firing range Javlin is also over rated. Carl Gustav has limited range its main draw back, it is effective in usable ranges. Try not to rely on too much western propaganda for your clips. Both sides have lost thousands of Armoured vehicles especially to mines. Ukraine has suffered the worst of it barely able to move a vehicle without it being destroyed. The BIG offensive has seen Leopard Bradley and every western vehicle destroyed often without a shot fired. No doubt everyone will be looking for new defensive measures. Remember tanks in WW2 were destroyed by the tens of thousands by very primative means. Russia only expected the T34 better than most tanks available to last a week in action.

Also, Javelin was coming in at a great but not incredible 20% hit rate. In mormL antitank world, that fir f&f would be fantastic but like 'storm shadow' these things are being advertised as 100% effective, something no military weapon woukd ever be

You notice that there is substantial decline of recent Javelin missile use in an Ukrainian propaganda unlike last year.
Coincide with last months US senate hearing about depleting US Military Reserves.
You should see the video of a T-90M being hit 3 times by Ukrainian missiles but it keep on going. They can only be destroyed if hit dead center on the turret.

They all burn, whether you are in a t52, or t-14 armata. The only way a tank is game changing is if they are thousands of them. Ive heard the word “game changing” used by both sides so many times and they never are

      T-52? LOL.
You forgot to add Leopard 1, Leopard 2, Challenger 2 and Abrams to your list of "burners".

  • @ThrashingCode

No. Bad title. Just no, it won't be game changing. Game changing was HIMARs. Game changing is the 777/panzerhaubitze 2000/Archer. There isn't shit Russia could field that is going to come close to those things.
Other games changers, would be Taurus, ATACMS, and other cruise missiles that Ukraine will be getting. But a tank, being a game changer, naw. If there is a tactical field level vehicle that is a game changer, *maybe* the M2 Bradley might be considered but again, Russia isn't going to field shit that is a *game changer*.

Love the new Cage in the Trade Shows they have displayed. Way to trap your crew inside so when the turret blows off they get to see the show up close.
*rolls eyes* Unlikely that we will see too many T90s, any more than we are seeing Russia's advanced fighter jets. They can't risk their sales by showing them getting taken out by $2k USD Drone Grenade combos.

Not just the strategy that cost tank losses, but top down sabotage of their own weaponry via corruption of funds for keeping vehicles in fighting condition, i.e. new tires, that were not dry rotted, actual armor on the side of tanks and IFV's etc.

Supposedly russia has built 120 T90ms since last February. Does anyone know if the new models have sosna u?

    • @definitelyfrank9341
      @definitelyfrank9341 ปีที่แล้ว

All new Russian tanks are equipped with a domestically-produced sight which the media calls a Sosna-U copy. Sosna-U is Belarusian, by the way.

The channel RedEffect has a very interesting video analysing the production rate of T-90Ms, you should check it out. It's called something along the lines of "T-90M performance in Ukraine"

One tends need to be able to go in reverse so it will be interesting if Russia adds that neat addition to the t90m. A max reverse speed of 2.5mph is not good.

Stop with these misconceptions already. It aint the NLAW nor the Javelin that is a problem for the tanks on the modern battlefield, but artillery, mines and drones (especially when all 3 are used together), plus modern (not top attack) ATGM's used by mobile teams are highly effective. NLAW has too short of a range and it does not guarantee a kill even upon a hit. Meanwhile the Javelin is big, clumsy, expensive and often fails to hit actual center mass against a moving target. The Russians have used T62's as mobile artillery, meanwhile T55's have gotten a inglorious role as suicide vehicles (being packed with explosives and sent unmanned towards Ukr fortifications).
