Thanks for your video, they are excellent i love the format, time and the idea of the concept. And easy to understant your flow and prononciationon for a frenchman like me. Keep going 🙏🏻
You've honestly got impeccable taste. We can be friends. Pretty much every recommendation I can get on board with. A few I already own or have been on my radar like victory heat rally. Keep the recommendations coming. Hopefully there's something I've missed.
Hello! I'm delighted you like what you see, thank you. Hopefully I can unearth some more hidden gems for you in my upcoming videos. Welcome to the channel!
The absolute first thing that came to mind when I saw Victory Heat Rally was the old arcade classic Power Drift. I’m definitely picking that one up….and great video all around, really solid recommendations 👍🏼😺
Love these recommendations! FYI Victory Heat Rally opens with the slogan "Go for Number 1" which ain't Outrun, it's a quote from the announcer in Sega's Power Drift. The game is heavily inspired by it right down to the screen tilting And if you never played Power Drift I strongly encourage you all to do so. I never would've known about this without your channel. Subscribed!
@@FlavourFool Not specifically, no. There are a few forums for vintage games, but it can all be a bit hardcore and technical. That's a big part of why I started this channel, to do something for the casual gamer.
Another great indie arcade video! As an apropos Skydrift and Sine Mora were both developed by the same studio. The since closed polish studio Digital Reality. I really hope you will have the time to check out Iron Crypticle and feature it in your next video!
Wow Thanks for the public service announcements I did not know that some of these games existed 😅 Gna track them down now! 🎉 That first racing game reminds me of choro q
I've always loved Ikaruga. It's by the studio Treasure and can't be beat for a shoot em up. Interesting dynamic where bullets come in two colors, white and black. You can flip the color of your ship back and forth between black and white as well. If you are the same color as the bullet, it fills a meter to unleash a powerful beam. If you are the opposite color of a ship, you do double the damage. Along with that, to increase your score, you keep a combo going by hitting groups of three of the same color. Fun game, but really hard.
Oh yeah, I know the game well! I love Treasure's games. I still dig out Sin and Punishment on the Wii, and Gunstar Heroes on the Mega Drive. The artwork and design is always amazing. Thanks for watching!
We need more arcade games in this era. They are super underrated compared to other types of games. I'm going to try cannon dancer osman, it looks crazy.
If you're an arcade fan I'm sure you'll like Cannon Dancer. I'll have a lot more arcade games in future videos, and hopefully unearth a few more gems. Thanks for watching!
Thanks mate, Sine Mora EX is just $5.30 here in Australia on Series X for one more day. I had skipped over it as I already had the 360 version and thought they were the same thing. I appreciate the explanation and bought it straight away. I am not currently touching Giga Bash at $35 here though lol Unfortunately without being on sale games are not worth the money here in Australia as we get ripped off due to exchange rate even though itKs just a digital code to begin with. For that reason lately I generally just collect original Xbox and 360 games where there are some real gems and bargains to find in the second hand physical space. Such as a total of $14 for both Tenchu Z on 360 and Tench Return from Darkness on original Xbox.
Ello mate! Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm glad you managed to get at least one discount in time! When it comes to prices, there's definitely a sense of 'let's see what we can get away with' in certain territories. There have been plenty of examples here in the UK where digital games, in particular, have been £70, when the US price is $70 - that's a mark-up of about £14 ($17.50) for each and every gamer here at current rates. On the other hand, most games do tend to depreciate quite quickly, and a big part of why I set up this channel is to try and find a few hidden bargains, old and new, so I hope I can find you some more. I still play my 360 a fair bit - NBA Homecourt, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Renegade Ops - and a really rapid quad bike racer called Nail'd is worth a look if you like your arcade games. Anyway, enjoy Sine Mora EX for now - and thanks for watching!
I like the Zen Pinballs FX for a quick arcade fix. I just hate the pricing. They're too greedy with the table bundles. Thanks for these videos. Found the channel just a few days ago. Already have a list with some recommended small games I'll check out.
I considered Pinball FX for this video, but I agree - the prices are too much for each bundle. I might look again when there are some discounts on offer. And thank you - welcome to the channel!
Had no idea about Nex Machina, what a great game thanks for the recommendation. Resogun looks cool but it's stuck on PSN (I play on PC) so Nex Machina is a great alternative 😀
@@Video_Games_Forever Was the first game installed on my PS5 too 😁 great list, I agreed with most of it and will definitely be getting Victory Heat Rally
Hello! I've owned the original Pac-Man Championship Edition for the best part of two decades now, and it's also a great game - a bit more straightforward. It depends on what experience you're after, really. I'd encourage everyone to look at both and see what they think. Thanks for watching!
@@Zirus_Blackheart Championship Edition 2 has more options for speed and maze size in certain modes. You also have the ghost 'trains' that make for those long and satisfying chomps for a ton of score, in addition to the limited-use bombs and jumps. The CE2 Adventure Mode is good fun - and eventually quite tough - with three stars available for each varied challenge. You need a certain number of stars to progress through each tier and it's a good way of learning all the new stuff and extending the life of the game beyond the basic format. Ultimately, If all you want is Pac-Man that looks good, I'd go for the first game. But if you've been playing it for about 40 years, as I have, it's nice to have the extras featured in CE2, in my opinion.
@@Video_Games_Forever I haven't played either, yet, and from what your saying basically 2 has a lot more content and is more varied? Sounds more like i'd prefer 2 then :-)

Excellent recommendations sir. I'm so bored of the AAA wasteland that is modern gaming. Can't wait to check these out.

AAA wasteland is so true...even more important that AA games and indie games fill the gap
Victory Heat Rally needs more frames of animation when turning
