I have a 98 International 7.6, I took off the fuel tank and washed it with water well. I connected the fuel hoses by mistake and gave it air pressure, then I corrected the error. I tried to start the truck. It never started. Can you explain to me the reason?
Good afternoon Joe, I saw your video dt466 stalling & you changed idm relay, wanted to ask if that was the problem if it got fixed. I’m having a similar problem with my bus it’s a 01 dt466. If you don’t mind letting me know if it was that or if you had to do something else on it. Thanks!
@@JoesBusBarn thank you for the fast reply may I ask what is the pigtail connector I’m asking Because really don’t know much about them but I’ve been taking them to different mechanics and the only thing that was changed was the ECM really and I’m not sure if this bus here has an idm I’m just out of options at this point I have no idea what’s wrong with it but what you described is the same thing with my bus.🙏🏻

Hey there genesis. On the unit in question. Yes. Changing the relay and pigtail (connector end) got the issue fixed.

Pigtail is the part (harness block ) that the relay connects too. The square with the female terminals where the relay plugs into.
Also check connectors on batteries. Those also cause similar issues. There are 2 connectors. Red wires. Positive side. White wires negative side.
