Do the Right Thing, Mulholland Dr, and Steven Soderberg’s Che are some of my favorites. And Exotica was indeed a great mid-90s indy release. Tho I’ve heard the transfer is just so so.
My collection is light on Criterion… I only have Klute (top 5 film for me), Blowout and Thelma & Louise (4K). It’s always fun to see your collections, guys.
I'll have everyone know that I spoke at length about the genius and packaging of Not Another Teen Movie, only for it to be left on the cutting room floor...
Criterion also sounds like an alien planet with these little critters called Crites! Wait a minute... that sounds familiar... My favorite Criterions that I have are Mulholland Dr. 4k (my favorite film of all time) Pan's Labyrinth, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Ghost Dog, Notorious, Elevator to the Gallows
The crappy de-aging process on The Irishman really ruined this movie for me. The 3 hours didn't help either. BUT Scorsese newest movie Killers of the Flower Moon was excellent even though that was 3 1/2 hours long.

Shaft in 4k is a stunner. Devil in a Blue Dress 4k and One False Move - superb.
Shaft & Devil and still on my wishlist... after learning One False Move was done by the same filmmaker as Devil, I'm going to eventually blind buy it.
@@russceasetheruss5360did you get Shaft?

Twin peaks fire walk with me and the ice storm are my favorite criterion releases. I don't have crash yet. I would recommend husbands by cassavetes.

SOMETHING WILD is the best thing Criterion ever released.
The few Criterion I do own is Blow Out. The best Brian DePalma film and my favorite John Travolta movie.
speaking of malick i need a 4k of the thin red line
Bull Durham. Looks great on Blu ray and it is a great baseball movie.
🤣When Matt kissed that stack of blu-rays it reminded me of an athlete kissing their bicep. Nice flex!!
I may be sharing too much with the audience, but I wanted everyone to see how much I LOVE my Criterion collection...
Lol, great intro classic 4k Kings.
Thanks! FYI my Leon just shipped! I will have it in hand just in time to review/unbox before we take our Winter Break!
It's pronounced Cher-bourg. Some hardcore frenchies say Cher-bor. It was a key target for the allies on D-day because it was a deep water port town.
It's also pronounced Cri-tear-ee-in

The Bruce Lee set is a high recommendation. I plan on buying Princess Bride and Munchausen 4ks
Del Toros debut feature was "Cronos" by the way. ^^
Good freaking catch! I forgot about Cronos, and I've even seen it!
All That Jazz
The Blob
12 Angry Men and The Great Escape are now collecting dust since the 4ks came out.
Criterion 4ks are around $80 in Canada
Damn, $80 is a lot. Do you wait for the sale, or is it still even too expensive for you?
@@4K_Kings we don’t have Barnes and Noble here and they don’t export here. There’s another supplier but they only do 35% off
The only one I have is ‘Not Another Teen Movie’.
Fingers crossed for a 4K with dolby atmos and commentary by Chris Evans historians.
I going to get Citizen Kane & Exotica, never seen either. I might get The Devils Backbone as well.
If/when you watch Exotica, come back and tell me what you thought!

I would add the Albert Brooks “Lost In America”. By the way, great job on the lighting on this episode. Very professional looking.
Thank you!
Inside Llewyn Davis boys. Best Coen Brothers film in the collection
What's a title you'd like Criterion to put on 4k? Paper Moon is high on my list
I'd love to see them do a 4K for Assassination of Jesse James...
Damn, i think i only seen like 10% of The movies you guys mentioned, that was a lot of wierd stuff and i do like wierd
Nice! Let us know if you check out any of our "weird" picks!
weird
I love Matt's little BluRay kisses
Gotta treat these titles right.
THE AGE OF INNOCENCE, CRUMB, MISHIMA, THE PARALLAX VIEW are also great Criterion titles.
The video reviewing your Criterion collection was good. Kissing your physical media was creepy and weird.
Oh, like you've never kissed your movies before. Yeah, right.
The crappy de-aging process on The Irishman really ruined this movie for me. The 3 hours didn't help either. BUT Scorsese newest movie Killers of the Flower Moon was excellent even though that was 3 1/2 hours long.
Lots of kissey wisseys
I love my Criterions a little too much!
Stop the kissing please!
What? You don't make out with your Criterions?
Kissing is cringe
Next time I will hug them instead.
