I agree with Russ...I loved Gummo but feel no need to argue with anyone who doesn't. I'd say if the trailer looks interesting then give the film a shot...if not, then just skip it.

Watching 4k movies with sunglasses would be difficult to gauge the difference between a VHS release.

The Twister steelbook artwork (current one) grew on me, I actually like it. That being said, I might have chosen the collector's edition if I had the choice. Typically, I'm more concerned about the quality of the picture, than the packaging and Twister 4K turned out good.

Thanks for all the spoilers on BODY DOUBLE. Really helps when you never seen the movie before.

The Ring steel books are not identical, you liars. The blu ray one has a vhs slipcover, and since I was foolish and bought it, im now going the slipcover route for the 4k.

Body Double is great. And Melanie Griffith is hot as hell in it.

These are all cool, let’s be clear. I already pre-ordered Late Night with the Devil from Umbrella, and Twister ultimate collections edition. I have to import Body Double 4K, can’t miss out on that.

I'm definitely picking up the Ring in 4k. One of my favorite horror movies from the 2000's.

I’m kind of a film snob. I don’t really care too much about digital 4k. Film just looks so much better. I wish more film makers knew this… There’s something about film that is inexplicably better. I can’t place my finger on it but my most favorite movies are all shot in film.

I mean streaming would be fine but they’re lowballing us. It should be 80-100Mbps. But they don’t want to devote the infrastructure to that. GeForce now does it fine at 85 Mbps and they have to worry about latency. So it’s entirely possible to fully stream 4k uhd disc quality but it’s not worth it yet to the providers. And you gotta have pretty BA internet…

Bdxls are also expensive, so they have a much less profit margin which means less of a budget for marketing the media. Amazon and Google should just allow us to download the 4k file… 70-100gb file. I BET they would make more $… people would see the difference and see the downsides of how huge the files are but for movies they love, it will be worth it. People love certain movies like lord of the rings, jaws, back to the future, etc, etc, etc

The larger your display the more noticeable the increases in bitrate physical media has, becomes apparent. As we start to get 100 inch tvs, 4k blu rays will seem much more logical to purchase. I have an 85 inch 4k and it is night and day, especially with movies shot on film.

Crazy that gruv just broke that it will be uncut on 4K 😭 I can’t believe WB did it!!! I hope paramount gets scream uncut like the fans want!

I bought the 4k and still have the Drafthouse bluray release. It's like watching it on a scratched up 35mm print.

The message in movies like the new Beverly Hills cop, is "aging is gross, awful, and you should hate it." Instead of, "just because you're older does not mean you've lost your lust for life, adventure, and love." I hate this messaging.

First time watching your channel. Guy on left: "I've never watched it. I don't seem to care. What am I doing here?" Great job guys! Maybe get the 4K discs, and capture clips and do some in-depth visual analysis.

I think the reason Hype Williams is doing that feature for Gummo is because in the film Belly, DMX is watching Gummo and is cracking up the whole time while all his friends are like wtf is this!? Regardless I’m so pumped for Gummo!

Let me just co sign with my 4k king brothers yall …. I’m 50 years old , I own that old ass snapper dvd of gummo…. YES… this film is more American than anything you’re likely to see on film .

Does anyone own Kids (1995) or Bully (2001) from Umbrella? I just bought a copy of each. I can't find any reviews of either disc. How do they look?!

The Gambler is solid. That Imprint release has great packaging and some interesting supplements but the PQ and AQ are disappointing. It’s still the best release of this film out there but it’s still pretty underwhelming. The Gambler (original film) needs a proper restoration by Criterion.
