While I'm recovering from sickness, I thought it would be fun to put my Wife Jill in the newly upgraded Triple 65 Inch 4K Motion Sim Rig, now with real-time active ambient lighting to see if if it could scare her.

Your wife is such a great sport. My wife, 2 seconds in VR, I'm dizzy and that guy with the lollipop is scaring me. 2 seconds driving with triples, I'm dizzy.

My wife refuses to try my Rig. lol.
My partner just thinks "it's just a game so it doesn't matter"
My wife says it's a dumb game then stays there not letting me use it lol.
Also she asks why I don't just go for a real drive instead.
Also I only have a wheel attached to my desk lol. She said I can get a rig for my birthday.

This is insane a literal dream setup
There is a legitimate scary driving game called BEWARE that would be amazing to play on that set up... If there is anyway it would possibly work you should definitely give it a try. It would scare the both of you... Especially with the lighting set up you have.
Canada looks so weird and different on this compared to what I usually see.
Its ok Will. My daughter told me the other day that she has seen my videos on my channel but has not subscribed yet nor has she liked them lol.
This would help Gill with driving at night in real life to overcome her fears for sure, this set up is too realistic. Driving in a city would be epic!💯
My wife holds the wheel at 10-2 too no matter how many times I've told her to hold it at 9-3.

Give her a short track, and given the fact she has a lot to get to grips with turn on the driving line. Sure, experienced sim drivers may not use it, but for her while learning brakes, gears and the track I'd think it would be a massive help.

Dude, this is some crazy sim rig setup, but anyway does the ambient lighting give a greater sense of speed as the light appears to pass over as it would irl, and does the ambient lighting have any great effect during daylight racing, cheers for the content, and sir you are a genius.

I don't know how she puts up with ya.Great channel,helped me out a lot deciding which gear to ,I'm going to say"invest" in.I know your gear is literally a thousand times more expensive than my own,but your a great source of information for sim racers/gamers of all levels.Enjoy your vids,keep up the great work,your a fantastic asset/inspiation to the people just starting out on taking this interest just a little more seriously,but can't afford the "super rigs". Myself having played racing games starting on the PS1 with the original Formula 1 by Psygnosis,through to titles like Le Mans 24 Hours, the TOCA series Ferrari Challenge and Grand Turismo,all with standard controllers and quite badly(still badly) never once have I ever felt "inferior" whether you discuss low or high end gear.

Hey can i ask a sort of dumb question how many power points does your rig run off ? Just cause i only have the two in my rig room but dont know if two power boards is going to be enough as I haven’t got all my gear and set anything up yet

Dude, how much did you spend in total to make this rig? Also, how did your wife let you spend that much money?
It’s my job so she’s supportive. Rig value is over $100k but most of it is made up of stuff we’ve been sent to review here on the channel. I’ve probably spent $50k all up on sim gear and another $20k on camera and lighting gear and the studio
