The Batman who laughs is neither Batman nor Joker but a representation of what Batman could become if he broke his no kill rule and lost his sanity. I like that the writers are toying with the idea of an alternate, darker Batman, their creativity really shows in the comics.

batman didnt lose his sanity and become bwl by sole dint of breaking his no kill rule. he was infected by joker's gas as well. maybe if he had broken this rule years beforehand, it might not have gone down like it did, and bonus points for all those people joker didnt get to murder in the intervening years.

Honestly all I feel is sympathy for the Batman who Laughs, he lost everyone close to him and was forced to become this hideous being and kill all his friends, I imagine some tiny part of his former self still strapped screaming in horror at what he's done

The batman who laughs is the result of replacing batman conscience with the joker. There is no small part of him screaming in horror. And it was him who killed everyone close to him, and then his all his friends.

if I may add I would say cell, frieza are one of the greatest anime villains but Ik it's not comic related so I have to say magneto, green goblin, Carnage, Ultron, loki.
which they have the longest runs than the batman who laughs but I would give the batman who laughs some justice because of only his costume and that's it.

That's why not much people liked the movie, since we all wanted more of joker rather than the bat-relationship
Hopefully this Batman becomes an icon in DC’s history of Batman characters. It’s a cool concept with a neat design.

This should be an animated movie. Batman should be played by Kevin Conroy, each of the Dark Knights should be played by a Batman voice actor, and Troy Baker should be The Batman Who Laughs seeing as he's played both Batman and Joker.

Plot: joker hates how batman does not care about him,batman just let's him free every single time,joker actually wants to be captured surprisingly. So he's able to steal a machine that combines two things together to make one evil monster,joker is able to steal a sample of batmans DNA and combines himself with it,this goes horrible as the joker becomes the one and only, batman who laughs. Jokers insane mind and the combination with Batmans insane speed and strength make him more insane and even more stronger. Batman can't do this on his own so gets the help of Harly Quinn and all the old partner of joker who are mad out being replaced to stop him. The batman who laughs is an insane human being now and is close to destroying the entire world, he can play mind tricks and almost everything, but batman and his new friends could have a chance
