Hi Kellie, I started messing around with alcohol inks about a year ago, I've created some interesting pieces, mostly abstract, as I work in acrylic on canvas doing mostly abstract art, I see that you do on-line courses and I see that most are $15.00, with life time access? Life time access to what, the painting that is paid for? I would be interested in learning some alcohol ink techniques with you, I have M.S. and do not do well in group settings, but would still like to learn, you state that you do individual on-line classes as well, could you give me more information about what you do/don't do, what it all entails....by the way I do enjoy watching as you create. Thanks, Karan
Hi Karan, Alcohol inks are amazing! I started with them 3 years ago (before that I was a watercolorist). It was the same as you....more abstract, until I learned how to work with them. The classes are step by step online. I walk you through the whole process of how I complete the scene you choice. You can preview some of the classes on my website before purchasing, to give you an idea of how they run. Once you purchase the online course you can take it as many times as you like (No expiration) over and over again at your own pace. I'm just an email away if you have any questions along the way. It's kind of like I'm right there with you painting as you follow along. :) Here is the link for the Dragonfly one - feel free to check it out. www.udemy.com/creative-alcohol-ink-dragonfly-painting-steps-dots-and-fun/?couponCode=WEBSITE2016
Thanks Kellie, I appreciate your getting back with me so quickly, what are the ways a person can pay for a course? Do you do Paypay? I tried to go to the link for the dragonfly, it just keeps on trying to load, but doesn't actually play? Got any idea's?
Sure Karan! Payment is direct through udemy (the educational platform). If it's trying to re-load the system may have been down, or slow wifi. Try again from my website (you can find all my courses on there) www.KellieChasseFineArt.com :) Good luck and can't wait to paint along with you!
Hi Beth_21 - Alcohol Ink will always re-act when new ink or Alcohol is poured on them, but you can get some nice control with them by pouring the inks into a palette and waiting for them to thicken a bit (allowing more control over them). Feel free to check out some of my FREE previews on my website! :) www.kellielynnart.com/online-art-courses

So by allowing the AIs to dry you can add to your picture without the risk of it bleeding into the dried inks?
