    Really happy I watched this video.
    I just got my hands on a few bottles of alcohol inks in a box of different types of inks, and I've never worked with them before.
    No clue what to do with them.
    This has saved me a lot of testing out (And wasting the little ink I have), so thank you! Now i'm excited to try these out

    Thanks! Very helpful! I was told that you can make your own blending solution....3 oz. 91 or 99% alcohol + 6 drops of glycerin.

    I would like to get started in this but I see different ink sets. Some say they have resin in them and seem to be the less expensive which is what I need as I've spent too much already on acrylic pouring before I considered this. Is it not worth it to get, say, a set that is $12.99 or 16.99 for instance? Is it just cheap stuff I don't like the idea of resin. I don't understand resin. thankyou. I've subscribed!

    Hi Sheri, that’s a lot of great info but I’m particularly interested in the sealer choices here in Australia. I’ve tried to find Krylon Kamar Varnish just about everywhere with no luck except from the US + ridiculous freight prices. White Knight is the first ‘other’ option I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing your thoughts & advice with us. May your channel grow & prosper 🖖🏻

      @@aligrant3532I live in Italy and have the same problem with Krylon. I recently ordered a Liquitex water-based sealant to seal my work. I haven’t tried it yet but it should be ok. It’s an all-in-one sealant too including uv protection.

    Just a comment. Ethanol (or ethyl alcohol) and iso-propyl alcohol (or iso-propanol) are both alcohols, chemically similar and differ by 1 carbon atom. The Ranger inks contain both alcohols.

      You can try it but it won’t work as well

    i have a huge problem with my Ranger alcohol inks .. i have undertones who appear after mix with my 95% alcohol on yupo paper (and canvas). i don’t know why my brown tones became green and little bit of pink it’s so bad and ugly. please can you help me

      That happens because when you need to make a particular colour you use multiple colours and then you get the undertones coming through so you know how you’ve got your primary colours and then all the other colours after that are made from those primary colours

    Hey, i love your stuff! Why am i finding it so hard to move colour around (using IPA 91%) is it just a learning thing?! I find my alcohol is drying too wuick?
