I stopped 'pretending' to be someone else I wasn't when I was on camera and just pressed record and I was myself. Even though this tip might seem fairly straight forward, your audience can tell if you're being fake. This is why it's important to show your true colours and that's when you'll be able to build an audience!

I just noticed Rush was part of the Photography CC plan so I grabbed it and watched this tutorial and I'm pleasantly surprised at how similar it is to PS, LR and WMM. This tutorial was perfect and I feel like I already know how to use the program even though it's still currently installing. Thank you for the tutorial.

Super fabulous video...you can pretty much field with most Adobe apps using this video...for example: Adobe Photoshop. This tutorial is quick, direct, plain and clear and very understandable! Bravo!!
This is great. I have a hulking gaming laptop with my full Adobe CC subscription on it. I have for many years had a "travel tech" bag, since my job involves (or at least involved) constant business travel. I used to use a Surface Pro 4 until the battery died. Now I have an 11" M1 iPad Pro, and it's fantastic to be able to work on something in a foreign hotel and pick up immediately on my laptop when I get back home.
Just started learning how to video edit and the whole youtube journey. It's a grind, but a very rewarding one. Thank you Justin for always helping me out.

I'm literally brand new to any form of video editing. First, thanks for the full on easy to understand tutorial. BUT = there was no mention of the aditional cost involved despite already subscribed to ADOBE LrC, Ps, Bridge.... This seems on the face of it very similar indeed to iMove ( a free app on Apple). The main difference seems to be 1. it crosses over to all equipment - whether OS or Android, which is great. 2. It recognises android video, whereas iMove does not...... but yes, excellent & thank you for this comprehensive tutorial update.... Decided to pay the subscription and use this ADOBE app. Yep it really does cross over operating systems and OS/Android. It’s also good that it uses adobe cloud function. Thank you very much for this insight....

Good instructive video. I have noticed a lot of presenters/creators of instruction video are using key-stroke short cuts, not a mouse. As a viewer I don't find the mouse to be a distraction, for me the mouse is a guide for the eye . Maybe you could experiment with your large red arrow as a mouse movement to guide the viewer. Overall good job, helpful, very informative. Subscribed. Thumbs p.

Need to ask you about two tools -- multiple clip selection and ducking. They are not available on my Rush software. Spent over 2+ hours on Adobe tech support, even sent them YOUR video to prove these tools exist. It's crazy. THEY don't know why I don't have them on my UPDATED version, not even the beta version. They shared screen, installed, re-installed, cleaned CC, etc. and STILL they told me they'd call me back on Monday. (it's Friday evening). Adobe asked ME what version you're using -- ???

Where does this fit in your annual review of video editing software? If you have the photography plan, it's free. If you don't, it's not free but it is less expensive than Premiere Pro. I see it didn't make your shortlist, but it does work with Adobe Stock, and it's easy to keep current with the latest versions and those have to be worth something.

Just use premiere pro. Take the time to learn it, and you'll never have a need to use rush again. Rush is a goofy editor.
This is the only video you need to learn Adobe Rush...it's a perfect tutorial by Justin compared with other tutorials I've watched. Kudos!

9:52 doesn’t really work that smooth in mobile. You find that it snaps to grid too often and it’s a pain to edit.
