I spent ten hours browsing and trying to create a video on Adobe Rush. Despite watching twelve different tutorial videos today, I was unable to complete my project as I struggled with creating a suitable intro and B-rolls. I was on the brink of giving up and heading to bed when I stumbled upon your video. Watching your video made me emotional as you were able to explain everything I needed to know in under ten minutes, and in a more comprehensible manner than any other tutorial I had viewed today. Your demonstration made the process appear effortless, and it has given me a much-needed boost in confidence. I am going to sleep now so that I can wake up refreshed and work on my video tomorrow. Thank you so much for your help, I truly appreciate it and am now your biggest fan!

Adobe needs to advertise this. I didn't know that Adobe Rush was this powerful and much simpler than the other tools. This is crazy! Thank you so much!

Mark, this is easily one of the best instructional videos on Premiere Rush, and basic editing, that I've seen in a while! Thank you for putting this together!

Phenomenal video Mark. You didn't just go thru each feature 'here's what this does'. You actually drove Rush using a project, and we learned along the way. I learn best that way, speaking of the best, you are the best!

I'm so glad I've seen this. I spend so much time creating videos in Premiere Pro and it is a real chore. Rush looks so much easier to use. I'll give it a try on my next project. Thanks, Mark!

Thank you for this tutorial for Rush. It actually has more features than I thought it would like the color adjustments. I have had Creative Cloud for a long time and I don't use any app accept Photoshop, which I use every day. Once I learn Rush or feel I'm using video editing more often I may go back to the entire Suite but for now, I'm tired of paying the 30. extra dollars on all those Apps I'm not using.

This looks way more useful than the old version. The speed control was needed to even make usable so this is super cool. I might have to give this a go for phone edits instead of resorting to the GoPro App. It would be awesome if premiere used some of these easy features like the speed ramps and auto ducks.

Great video, Mark. I've just kind of ignored Rush that is part of my CC package. I used Premier during some college time back in the early 2000s (in my 40s then). I have Power Director, but even with that you have to do the regular style trimming, etc.. For my uses Rush looks like it is ideal. And to think I've had it all along. I must admit though. I'm a bit envious of all that travelling and photographing beautiful models for your tutorials. :D At least we get to live vicariously. Excellent job on the video.

What I did was make multiple snips and progressively lower each one until it had faded out. If you don't want it to be choppy, you have to make more snips, so it can take some time. There is probably a better way, but this is what I did.

When you changed some video to slo mo at the end of the tutorial, did that make the overall video length a few seconds longer? Did you then need to edit the length of the background music, so that it still extended to the end of the video?

Great timing indeed! And great video, Mark! But a have a couple of questions about the fps and color grading.
I just started wrapping my head around video settings on my Sony A7III (fps and shutter speed is where I struggle most) and tried filming some test videos and editing them in VSDC and Premiere Rush. Also I tried color grading and for that I filmed some of the clips in flat profiles.
Now, when I started editing I was absolutely owerwhelemed by VSDC interface. And it seems that Premiere Rish could be the best for me, but I don't yet understand will it be able to give me the flexibility of color grading and correct fps settings while editing?
For example, if I shoot 3 clips in 24, 60 and 120 fps will I be able to use speed ramping in a correct way so that I get the 24 fps video in the end, but with 2 clips in the finished video slowed down to 40% and 20% respectively? Will the quality of the finished video be the same as if I edited it in, say, Premiere Pro?
And will it let me color grade my flat profile videos (HLG2 or Cine4, for example) to the same extend that the Premiere Pro would? And will the quality of the video be the same?
    Thank you!
