I bought this as my first electric toothbrush, its amazing. So i got the regular black in a lux package, i dont know if it happend because the packaging can so easily be manipulated by the seller, if indeed the lux variant should only come in that gray/black color as you say. No package in my country comes with more than 4 brush heads, which is what i got. I did get a special round and black charging base, as opposed to the usual white charger. I got the black travel case with the black pattern on it, i am very impressed by the quality of this case its amazing and i wish i would have a use for it other than looking at how cool it is and feels in hand. Also the app is a disaster, i will not use this app while brushing, it adds an unnecessary step to follow while doing it, so the first problem i have with it is that the background sync doesnt really work, in the 3-4 days ive had it, the only time the brush data updated to the app was when i turn both the app and toothbrush on for a moment, also the 3D map of your mouth is not stored information, you only see this one time after you have finished one brushing session, just why? You also cant tell the app if you had gum bleeding or flossed etc if you didnt use the app, i wish i could just go back to my last brushing session and tell the app then. TLDR: The toothbrush market is extremely confusing, skip on the lux variant unless you really want that AMAZING looking case, otherwise buy the regular much cheaper model, the only difference between packages are aesthetics, buy your brush heads separately as they are widely available for cheap-ish.

I agree with the opportunity to go back and see 3D model etc. I have found the syncing to be reasonably reliable, but I have had some issues as others have, sadly not all perfect.

There are a few different variants of the Genius X which were launched after this video was recorded. Some of those, don't have the charging travel case.

I don't think I need the IO because I know myself and I'm not sure I'll use all of that. 😂😂😂 So I'm trying to figure out which route to go. I want 3d cleaning, pressure sensor, and one that doesn't sound so loud😂 thank you for your videos. They are the most helpful out there.
Stephanie. You might want to try consider the Oral-B Smart 3000. Cheaper. It has Bluetooth, but not the advanced tracking. if you want something now. Alternatively if you can wait a month or 2, I think the Smart 2000 is coming and will be a great buy - www.dentalcare.ca/en-ca/products/electric-toothbrushes/oral-b-smart-2000 - I think it will be the equivalent to the Smart 1500 which we recommend most in the USA.

This is about the Genius X only, which cleans the teeth well. What are you wishing to compare it to?
I got mine but the case came without any charger . It’s a simple travel case . Is that normal ?
