I am planning to buy this device with these specs but in silver color, and this video was very helpful for me as a developer to know the limitations. Thanks.

Excellent video! I loved it, you have one more subscriber, I'm between this MacBook and the MacBook Pro, I really don't know which one to choose, I love how flat the air is, do you think there is a lot of difference between the pro and this in terms of power? Do you think that with this MacBook Air with 16 of ram it can have an instance of Xcode, another of Android studio, visual studio code and some tabs in chrome without problems? Thanks

I am really glad to hear it! I have not tried the new M3 Pro's, so they might be a bit faster. However, my current M2 Pro 16GB runs pretty much everything that your talking about. I run Mutilpe VScode Windows, Docker, Safari, and Chrome with multiple tabs open, and I have had Xcode open as well, along with three messaging apps and more. When I was testing the M3 Air, it handled the same number of apps with no problem. I really think that unless you get a higher-end Pro model, the air is more than capable when compared to the base model of the MackBook Pro's.

Thank you very much for the answer! I was really looking for a replacement equipment (Since I already have a windows with an i9 and a 4070) and I wanted to buy a MacBook, really thank you very much for your video and all the excellent content you do!

I'll be buying the 8GB 512GB version. I'll run Ollama 7B models in it. Will it be fine? I'm not a hardcore user. I do web development and use x code occasionally.

I would say that it should run. You might run into some memory issues if you have to many apps running at once. I have never personally tried running on anything less than 16GB. But I tend to have a lot of things running at once.

Is the base model 8gb ram m3 13” air good enough or better to buy 16gb m2 air 13” or 15”?😊. Does it work in our normal wifi router or needs 6e particularly? Is the m2 air camera too bad?

It would all come down to your use case. If you are not using it for super-intensive tasks, then the 8gb would be fine. However, if you want to do more with it, then I would go for the 16gb M2. You will lose out on a little processing power, but a little extra RAM wouldn't hurt. As far as screen size and camera go,. I would personally get the bigger screen, but as for the webcam, I have not tested out the M2 Airs camera, so I cannot speak to that. But Apple usually has pretty good, if not the best-built-in, web cameras on the market, at least in my opinion.

The shirt is from gruntstyle.com But I haven't been able to find that exact one on their site. They switch prints every few months. So it might not be there currently.
