Dang, I totally broke that upper piece of the door trim. My 2003 is a little bit different than this. Only two clip tabs, but the upper one has a little hook on it, so the removal motion is first up about a 1/4 inch, THEN straight out. Bullocks!
@@vvqc4341 yea I gotta get subs sucks bc I have a single cab but yea man they are hella good I definitely recommend and no they haven’t blown yet I don’t max it out bc then it sounds distorted
The video I watched for to do the window regulator indicated clips for the door panel that come loose with a firm yank. I ripped several of my hanging chads off! I wished I'd have seen this first!!! 😂😂😂 I like the wire conversion clips, pretty smooth.
Did you not notice that this speaker is in reality a 5x7 and not a 6x8? Usually a 6x8 does not have the single end mounting tabs. Obviously Kicker in their wisdom to sell product call this a "6x8" when it is actually a 5x7. People are getting cheated out of cone area if they buy Kicker, but then those who buy these are probably uneducated and drop off their vehicle while mall shopping. Just look at the open gap between the speaker and the door sheet metal at the 5:50 mark. Heck, you could even install a 6x9 in that spot if someone didn't mind drilling new mounting holes. Sorry, but not a professional install. Also it is known that the Metra adapters are wired backwards and either need the wire colors switched in the plug or the large and small ends clipped off and replaced with new ones but on the correct polarity.

is the 6x8 the same as a 5x7? When I look up at Crutchfield it shows only 5x7 fitting the f150.

Even then B&O speakers are better than kickers yet, it’s hard to find the original speakers for mine so I had to get kickers 😭
would these 6x8 door speakers fit in a mazda b2300 2007 single cab
If the Mazda/Ranger are 6x8 Factory, they will. And as long the speaker doesn't stick out also way too much
