    Immensely helpful. Guided me through replacing the sensor on my 2011 Fit. Fit has plastic shrouds on the bottom which made getting to the sensor with any sort of box wrench very difficult. Ended up having to use an adjustable, but got it installed. Thanks again!

    No start, I bets it's a starter if it just clicks. It's wise to listen and do the trans fluid svc with the changing of the pressure sensor. Fluid goes into that sensor and if you have dirty fluid that caused it to go bad then you must like spending $76. And the splash shield underneath is on all models, if your not original owner the previous owner probability hit something and it was torn off. All of them have it from base model to the ex-l. It was damaged or taken off for no reason. 8yrs exp with HONDA.

    I have a p0848 code after I ran the 0bd2 reader, the check engine light came on and the "D" when I put into drive light starts to blink. I just recently had my car serviced at the dealership, transmission oil change. The car drives regular, is it safe to drive? I'm going to get the sensor fixed but is it because of the the transmission oil change? Thanks

    3rd gear pressure switch doesnt have to do with it starting, when my pressure switch went bad the car (obv auto) would drive up until 3rd but then would stick in that gear, it caught me off guard because it happened getting on the highway for me and i could tell the car was stuck in gear, made it REAL annoying having to be stuck with only 3 gears until i fixed it. First time it did it it didnt throw a code either so i just flushed the trans and it fixed for a week then did it again and threw a code

    ok I have the flashing D issue also on my 2001 honda fit, but it does not stall, the gears just don't engage fully all I do is shut off the car and start again and the problem is gone, it shifts very well engages nicely, but it only tends to happen after driving on some really shakey roads time to time I have to end up passing on those bad roads so I am really not sure what the issue is, also when I come to an abrupt stop, the car keeps rapidly engaging and disengages gears which sounds like a loss of power but its a drastic rpm drop but still does not stall after about 3-4 seconds it regulates, I am not sure if anyone has a similar issue

    • @taterlysaladman9377
      @taterlysaladman9377 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stay off the shakey roads. Before your car kills you. It happens. It will run you headon into a truck.

    Dnali, I have a P0843 code coming up, its the 2nd clutch transmission fluid pressure switch. We can not find where it is!! I have a 2009 Honda Civic EX Coupe, my dad and I found the 3rd one (the one you have in the video) but not the 2nd! We have been studying the engine map but we cannot seem to locate that darn 2nd switch. Would you happen to know where it is?!We changed the transmission fluid and we changed the 3rd switch but the message is still on, so we apparently switched the wrong switch. When I bought the part at the Honda Dealership, they gave me the same exact part you have here. Do you think it is the wrong one?! Please help, lol :( -Esther

    • @esthere4197
      @esthere4197 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      YES!!! I don't have my car with me right now to show u but it is super hidden. So your gonna go to the driver side to get to it and it's under the brake fluid master cylinder all the way under that the part you insert will be facing you. If I remember right you have to move a couple of hoses and stuff to get to it, you can see it and reach it but not enough to do work there. The part is the same as the 3rd switch
