A few days in, and after some problem sorting aided by a very professional and responsive support team halfway across the planet, I can give a few more impressions. First, this is not a quiet printer. Doesn't bother me at all but some folks might not be happy with that. I found the preset retraction settings to be a bit off, still dialing those in. But overall I like this printer for what it is. Will still use my other printers for most of my work, but this will come in handy for so many special projects. I can't say enough good about my interaction with support and if for no other reason than that I recommend this printer for folks that have need for the size.

That is how I ended up doing the calibration on mine as well. So far klipper hasn't been too bad, although I am still learning it. I do like the printer so far.

Enjoyed this. I have 2 of the T500's, they both work fine. Support has been great as well. I agree with you, it is not a quiet printer, although if you slow it down a bit, it's not really that bad in anything other than a bedroom. But of course, huge prints need speed... All in all, I'm glad I have it.

FYI the bed leveling takes a really long time and it will do it on it's own. You have to be patient with it. :)

I do bed mesh, (saves, restarts klipper) then home, z-tilt, then z calibration (paper trick) then save config again.
If you have a computer I highly recommend finding your machines IP address and punching that IP address into your web browser. It’s SOO much easier running it from the computer in my opinion. I’ve had my t500 a couple weeks now and I like it but I’m less Impressed with Klippers wonkyness. I’ve found a way to make it freeze every time and I hate having to kill it and re-heat everything. Hope there will be some updates.
