Dude I’ve had Digitalism stuck in my head for years now and didn’t know the name. I remembered hearing it in a dan bailey video once so I came here but of course the sound is now gone. I dug through comments for an hour before I found your track listing. Thank you sir and God bless.
I think ultimately the best way to think about Crossfit vs Bodybuilding vs Powerlifting is each has different goals, and you have to ask yourself what is your goal. Crossfit is overal athleticism, endurance, and aesthetics. Body Building is large muscle mass and aesthetics, and power lifting is being able to lift really heavy weights/explosive, and you may or may not look that great. Is crossfit the best routine you can do for athleticism? are kip ups even useful compared to alternatives? I don't really know.. but i can say if you're going there to get your body muscles to work together and burn calories then i'd say it works for that.
The facts are that these people can't do anything except train for crossfit. This guys don't have the coordination of even an advanced amateur athlete.
Maybe, maybe not. I can not judge with only simple videos like this. But the point is they don't really need it. All they do is crossfit, this is how they make a living and therefore, if the sport does not require advanced coordination, they should not waste time and energy developing it. IMO
hittman1412 That's what i mean... if you train crossfit because of it's high intensity nature you're going to look aesethic. Maybe not as aesethetic as a body builder on a cut, but you will look good. So if you want to look good and be athletic/overall fitness crossfit is not a bad pick. If you just want to be huge, decently strong, and aesethic (when coupled with a dieting phase) then bodybuilding would be better. I personally do body building/powerlifting.. my endurance sucks but i'm getting builkier and am able to lift the heavy weights i want to lift.
Damn, dude. I always come back to this video when I need some inspiration. I love crossfit, so I'm a bit biased, but even the crossfit haters out there have to admit that this is an impressive level of endurance and strength. Jesus. Only 16 mins and this dude did more than what I could even fathom for a 2 hour session. Shit, we usually do only 1 benchmark at a time followed by supplemental work. 4 fucking benchmarks, back to back?! Insane. Gotta admire that mental toughness through grueling exertion. I'd love to see Dan come back next year and crush regionals and the games.
professorbland The chance of injury is in the same league as power lifting and gymnastics and far less than sports like football. There is a higher incidence of shoulder injuries, but I'm sure that's true for any sport that involves upper body movements as a core component. As to the "cult atmosphere," there's a little bit of truth to that, but it's no more than a group of runners or bicyclers that train together. The format that workouts are done lend themselves to a group oriented attitude. Everybody does the same format and movements at the same time. They're all in it together. If you're not doing it, than you're outside of the group. Finally, the coaches in affiliates that aren't any more or less educated than your average trainer in a standard gym. Every good coach is adamant that the people in their classes do not lift more then they're capable of lifting for the duration of the work out with good form. If the form breaks down, there was too much weight on the bar. If somebody is an idiot and keeps too much on the bar even when they're struggling with the lift, than it's on them, not the coach.

People who say Dan and Miranda are on Roids are probably fat and lack the determination it takes to get even half as fit as they are. Drop the donut, stop walking on the treadmill, and challenge yourself! I've dropped nearly 40lbs because of CrossFit in less than one year. I'm no where near Dan Baily's physical abilities, but physically, I am pretty close to his physique (Roid's FREE). So if I can get there in less than a year of CrossFitting, I'm 100% sure Dan, Rich, Miranda, Jason Khalipa and the rest of the CrossFitters are natural and just put in a hell of a lot of work.
u dont know if they are natural or not bro...from my experience i'd say: they take a cycle of winstrol or other things, then come off it when its time to get tested or compete so it doesnt show up...if they even test :/
tnafguy1 you're right! I don't know. I'm just putting two and two together. The type of training they go thru along with the amount of training they go thru it's a no brainer. Rich and Dan (along with many other CrossFitters) pretty much train ALL day. Haters are gonna hate. Doubters will doubt. But until you've trained like a CrossFitter for anytime long enough to see results, you really can't say anything (not saying YOU as in pointing you out, but to anyone that this may apply to).

no, we know a fad when we see it and we cringe when we see form failing on a lift and the idiots around them cheering them on instead of stopping them before they get hurt.
jestarr21 a fad? 13 years is a long time for a fad. also pretty fast to be on ESPN 3 years in a row. its not going anywhere its only getting started. top 10 fastest growing business in forbes mag? yeah its sticking around. as for form, no we are not perfect, that's why we keep learning. bodybuilders have the worst form of any fitness style so don't come talking trash on crossfit when you don't even do the movements
It is a folly to believe that crossfitters only do these type of exercises to develop body strength and stay in shape. In order to perform these routines one must condition their muscles to avoid injuries. I believe with a little practice and learning the proper form, this can be an excellent challenge. Also from what I see, crossfit isn't a routine to develop muscles per-say, but a routine to see what the result of conventional exercises can do through repetition and endurance. So if anyone want to see if they have functioning muscles then this is a great way to find out
People crying "steroids" are you seriously not comprehending the insane workout he is actually doing IN THIS VIDEO? The difference between Dan and people like Marston is not drugs, it's his diet and the fact that he typically does 2+ workouts 6 days a week. Astonishing how people can discount something they're actually seing.
This is incredible. Strength, endurance and technical know how to complete these movements is amazing. If you don't like crossfit then do not watch a crossfit video and then make comments about hating crossfit and the way they do things. Live and let live.
Video is solid. Workouts are sick. But, that music has to go. Play some METAL. You wanna see some raging workouts. Metal will put your mind into weight crushing mode !!!
For all you haters out there, why bash people who are getting after it physically and mentally, pushing their limits every day? I'm not a fan of kipping pullups either, but that doesn't entitle me to mock everything that is CrossFit. It's just a different form of exercise, just like powerlifting or long-distance running. Respect people who are passionate about something..Don't knock something just because you either don't understand it or never tried it..Give it a break people...
I never heard of Dan Bailey before. I got tired just watching him workout! He is an amazing athlete with a great physique. I wish him a lot of success.
Bodybuilders or anyone who goes to a gym to just lift weights hate crossfit because they do everything we were told not too. Slam weights, rushed movements without rest time, and what might be good form for them is awful looking to us, anything close to snap city.
I slam weights, rush movements, and I do bad form sometimesssss. Atypical? Idk... EDIT: When I say rush movements, I mean sometimes I do only 10-15 seconds between sets. No idea if that is what you are talking about.
ManlyMonster At the same time, I workout like many other people as well as most pro bodybuilders and it works well. Just because my form on standing bicep curls can be bad sometimes doesn't mean I am going to injure myself.
Regardless of what a persons reasons for hating cross fit it doesn't change the fact that cross fit FORCES you to WORK HARD. people first off don't like to be forced doing anything at all and second Most people MOST of america doesn't want to WORK HARD. thats why bodybuilding is easier and more popular. not trashing bodybuilding AT ALL so don't attack me but look at the reality. you sit cozy in the bench press maxing out taking your time resting in between sets etc. same with squats, deadlifts, overhead pressed ETC. ALSO bodybuilding is an ART not a sport nor for athletes. Its SCULPTURING your body rather than performing
***** Look at this guy he's 16 and all natural. He trains really hard and a perfect diet as well as i know him personally. But you being a troll and unaware what that is would say roids. P.S. The photo of him is when he was 15 bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/permalink/progress-photo/DennisBurgess/25595682
455 is fucking easy anyone who practices and has proper form can get up to fucking 405 in 2 years. Not to mention he weights 175 and makes lifting heavy much easier on him.
TrailersAndAll I admire your faith bud, but I am an experienced athlete and over years people who claim not to be on roids eventually come out. One of my close friends is a natural powerlifting registered athlete and holds several UK, European and even a world record (though the world one was beaten a day later by a guy in the US) Even so, he has phenomenal strength and trains damn hard, sticks to a strict diet and has been competing for over 25 years. He doesn't and has never had a body even close to these guys. He has a good build and looks powerful but nowhere near the lean mass. As a beginner- under a year, you can put on up to about 5kg's of muscle, intermediates (1-3 years training) would be very lucky to put on 2kg's a year and any longer than that, though strength will go up, you're looking at about 1.35kg assuming eat, sleep, train= perfect. Don't believe me? Look for people at the gym who are regular, check their stats, write them down and check back in a year. Obviously look for someone with an average build who is working hard, otherwise they're more than likely on gear. Target market for roids are males 20-35 in normal gyms who don't compete- most you would never believe are on them because they don't look that great. Don't let it put you off though, keep training hard- when I first realised the extent of the problem, my training was stuffed for over a year as I lacked motivation thinking it was a losing battle, then you realise you should train hard to push yourself not just look a certain way.
AlvaroLander I go from experience from friends and myself. Call me ignorant if you want.. But if you tell people that you can't get that big without using steroids then you clearly don't know how to eat correctly.
Mike Chrisman Bro, if you're implying I beleive that they're natural. You are the pathetic one making assumptions. Gratz, you won the ignorance prize..
Jedd Johnson Go get yourself a dictionary and look up troll because you don't know what it means. . Random ! Look that up too while you`re there, too. o0o
Just watching this video made me reminisce the time I tried crossfit. It was no joke, nearly fainted!! I'm very fascinated with every workout I've come across. Would love to try bodybuilding, but aside from that; crossfit made me build more endurance and stamina that I can go on about 3-4hrs of working out without being exhausted, and go for a run afterwards. Not that 3-4hrs is needed for a workout, but hey if there's still energy to spare may as well use it all. I would love to get back into crossfit someday, but power lifting will do for now. Watching these types of instense workout videos pumps me up. Awesome!!
More is really not better. If you can train for hours on end chances are you aren't training with sufficient intensity. Plus training for hours will likely raise your cortisol levels way beyond what you'd want them to be. IMO Crossfit is just a "let me see how much I can do until I'm completely dead" workout...it doesn't really make you better at anything other than muscular endurance
Why can't people understand that CrossFit is a sport and not bodybuilding. They don't need to focus on form/time under tension etc... You can't do perfect form and do all these exercises in quick concession under a limited time... Crossfit =/= bodybuilding =/= power lifting
There's no point to that exercise existing. Pullups exist to work the back, that barely works the back, it looks like someone sat down and designed the perfect way to fuck up a shoulder or back.
All these people hating on these guys. It's pathetic that even though they put in so much work and 90% of your people commenting cannot even compare to this you want to put crossfit down. they are in better shape and most of you will ever be. give them some respect this is a spectacular display of stength
I know right, annoyed the shit out of me as well. his thrusters are also BS. All I would say to him is: No Rep, No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep,No Rep
Dan is just awesome, sometimes i feel like judges don't give him some valid reps in the games 2012 and 2013, but he's a definetly an elite crossfitter, he souldve give a little push in 2014 games and he would be a number one contendor
I have done Crossfit, and to be fair, its damn hard. Those guys do train hard and you cant really knock it as a training system because its all compound, core lifts. I think the reason it takes a knock is because it jack of all trades and master of none kinda thing, but they have never proclaimed to be masters of anything. They will never be as sting as powerlifters, or as big as bodybuilders. I have to admit those kipping pull ups are a bit of a joke but the routines i tried were some of the hardest training I have ever done. In terms of group fitness its def one of the best things around. Try it before you judge it would be my advice.
they're muscle ups, but they're swinging themselves up instead of using actual strength
10 ปีที่แล้ว +4
I don't think the dude in the video got the way he looked by doing these types of pullups.
10 ปีที่แล้ว
Many people "learn" different exercises by observation. This is a classic case in which one may observe this big guy doing these types of pull ups and assume that is how he got to be the way he is. Then they will recreate this behavior, and see no results or get injured.
Its nice to see that people eat clen and tren hard in Crossfit too. Equal opportunity juicing imo. Also, From the description, I thought there was supposed to be a woman in this video?
You can't be serious. They're all doing like one or two reps for each exercise, then going around repeating the same routine all over again. This is NOT the proper way to get fit.
Do a crossfit workout and you'll see how out of shape you are. Bodybuilding for 2 years and ive started attempting crossfit and it makes you realize how much of animals these athletes are.
This is super impressive. Dan Bailey is a premiere athlete. All the haters complaining about the pull-up form, wouldn't even make it thru the king-kong. Guys like Dan compete to be the fittest man on earth!! We're all couch potatoes compared to them!
Trevor Contreras I like the whole thing, but as far as I understand they usually working "over the top", but everyone and everything have its limits. So thats why I ask. Professional sport may be dangerous,(and crossfit relatively new discipline) so yes it is a serious question.
As far as high intensity training goes... conditioned athletes who have worked hard all their lives are at low risk of cardiovascular issues from cross fit. But someone who has never exercised and finally deciding to exercise should not start with high intensity training it would be a shock to the system. Gradual build up.
I am in awe...the dedication and work ethic by these people is unbelievable! "GO YOU GUYS!" It inspires me to go more, do more and be more. Thanks for raising the bar, People! This music makes me want to crush things. #CrossFit #fitnessmotivation #lovinglife
SupFreshLandry With the same technique as the Olympics? I can believe its looser than that. And guess what they can pass that too :) Competitive people do everything to be the best.
Baldó Buczi Saying there isn't steroids in crossfit is impossible, clearly people are going to use them and or going to. But to say the top athletes aren't being tested and getting away with blatant PED use is retarded. I Can bet there was maybe a max of 2 or 3 competitors in the games this year that have used before and or used it to train for the games, and i still bet those 3 weren't in the top 15.
SupFreshLandry Remeber Seoul 1988 100m dash? Almost everyone failed the drug test. Since then the record is 0.2 sec faster (thats a lot!) than it was back then, AND EVERYONE at the top 8 in 2012 run faster than the 1988 world record. Now think about this for a bit. What changed? Runners training style? No. Human anatomy? No. Perfecting the art of making undetectable drugs? Yes.
3 years ago I had a little health scare (but I’m ok). I decided to make a bucket list of the 250+ things I want to do before I die. The list change my life! Now I’m on a mission to one day be remembered as The Guy That’s Done Everything. Hopefully watching me do all of the crazy, wild, and sometimes random things on my list, will help motivate you to get out there and do some of the things you’ve always wanted to do! Also, any $ the channel makes is going to charity, I didn’t create this channel to try and get rich off of it! Hopefully you will stop by, just like the thousands of other TH-camrs that already have!
those swinging pullups trip me out, i really wish they would quit that shit and do them the way they were intended.. swinging any exercise is annoying to watch. These guys are strong no doubt, but would be nice to see real pullups in crossfit
LOL!!!! I thought the same thing before crossfitting. But the "pullups" are not swinging... they're more controlled than that. Those type of pullups help translate to other( gymnastics) movements (such as chest to bar and muscle ups etc). Just a small reason why the kipped or butterfly pullup is accepted in CrossFit.
Yea but I think they messed up my bicipital tendon somewhat. When I do bicep.curls it used to hurt a little deep in my elbow, it was odd. Not sure.if.it was.from.increasing too.fast strength wise. Bc I went from 11 chin ups this year to 27 in 3 months time. Then hung 40lbs from me with the chin ups. Increasing.too fast maybe for.my tendons. I have been not doing any exercises that irritate this so call bicipital tendonitis.
James McDermott Proper form is the base of any athlete. If you're going for your max, ok, it may slip. But during your workout routine? There's no excuse to have shitty form.
Because not everyone has the same sense of style that you do. Some people like juicy couture sweats pants and uggs, some of us would never be caught dead wearing any of that. Maybe her body isn't appealing to you but you could try to respect the difference of aesthetic opinion and admire her for all the hard work she's put into getting her body to look like that.
batidadefresa What you do is basically transform you to the most masculine form of you. Some guys find masculine woman nice looking, and all the best to them. I don't.
Its all about work capacity. How much stuff can you do, and how fast can you do it. Butterfly pullups, although weird looking, is the fastest way to repeatedly get your chin over the bar.
Eduardo Saldana not really i do crossfit and i find butterfly pull ups is the way to snap city on ur shoulders, the normal kipping or just strict is the way to go.
hugh escario a new study came out that said crossfit is ridiculous because there's no benefit over other exercises and it's extremely dangerous lol. but you do your thing
just in case you were curious, Those weights are specifically designed to be "slammed" or since we are intelligent people we could classify this as "dropped." Also, since we are intelligent, We can note that a deadlift is completed at the top of the movement with completely opened hips. So now when we are discussing a workout ranging over a few minutes, where energy conservation might be important, we can assume that doing the eccentric portion of the lift (which is only REALLY helpful when we are talking about sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, obviously not the goal here) is pointless, and a waste of energy. And since we are on the topic, I hate when people can't spell out words.
Yeah... Pull-ups, rings muscle-ups and handstand push-ups are soooo cheating... But Dan is such a monster anyways! Over 16 mins of interval training - thats freaking BRUTAL! :O

I'm worn out just watching this, even if you hate cross fit his muscular endurance is insane, no one here could do this.

u dont know if they are natural or not bro...from my experience i'd say: they take a cycle of winstrol or other things, then come off it when its time to get tested or compete so it doesnt show up...if they even test :/
tnafguy1 you're right!
Yea, true true u are completely right, good point there ;)

people who bash on crossfit: tried a crossfit workout and didn't lift more than our females
no, we know a fad when we see it and we cringe when we see form failing on a lift and the idiots around them cheering them on instead of stopping them before they get hurt.
jestarr21 a fad? 13 years is a long time for a fad. also pretty fast to be on ESPN 3 years in a row. its not going anywhere its only getting started. top 10 fastest growing business in forbes mag? yeah its sticking around. as for form, no we are not perfect, that's why we keep learning. bodybuilders have the worst form of any fitness style so don't come talking trash on crossfit when you don't even do the movements
Sorry man,i watched the video 2 times and failed to spot the female.
DrGiourkas then you are the prime example of our females being stringer than you. any MAN would notice the female
Oh you mean that womanoid?Sorry, you re right...
What is that called at 5:00 ? Rotator cuff snaps ? Shoulder pops ?
shoulder pops LOL
DazzaMexicoese All credits to hodgetwins ahaha
I think thats butterfly pull ups
Incline, Decline and Flat Bench; Strict, Weighted, Kipping and Butterfly Pull Ups, do we really need to keep talking about VARIATIONS of a movement?
Well i doubt they're getting any sort of activation in their back.. i'd be screaming in pain as my shoulder and arms tear apart
So if anyone want to see if they have functioning muscles then this is a great way to find out
best form, best gym manner ever
you know i'm trollin
wtf would you know?
that's the only thing you could do in a gym :)
Jesus christ, these people are in fucking good shape.
+Saladin1187 Cowboys kicker stays in shape.
+Luvster G. Not the same Dan Bailey
People crying "steroids" are you seriously not comprehending the insane workout he is actually doing IN THIS VIDEO? The difference between Dan and people like Marston is not drugs, it's his diet and the fact that he typically does 2+ workouts 6 days a week. Astonishing how people can discount something they're actually seing.
this is probably the best video on the Crossfit channel, IMO
4:00 the only guy not on steroids in this video
+The Last Cast Off You have no respect for life.
+Dan R u have no idea about "hard work"
+dn a LOL
+dn a hahahha he should be or dressed up
Am i the only girl that would actually date the guy at 4:00? As long as he has a good personality!(but looks do matter too)
This is incredible. Strength, endurance and technical know how to complete these movements is amazing. If you don't like crossfit then do not watch a crossfit video and then make comments about hating crossfit and the way they do things. Live and let live.
I want to have that Playlist! :D
dan is a freaking beast, i hope one day he'll become the fittest man on earth, probably in 2015!
I don't think my insurance policy covers crossfit haha.
This is the most radically impressive spectacle that I have ever witnessed
12:13 really dude you're just gonna hock a loogie on the fucking floor of the gym?
lol again at 13 36
Fred Gor For real, get the fuck outta here with that gross shit.
fuck it train as hard as him spit wherever the fuck u want yolo!
Fred Gor i wasn't sure if that was what i saw until your comment just confirmed for me hahaha
Fred Gor lol man has to clear his nose somehow. he isn't gonna stop for a tissue
Just dont injure your self man.
Dan Bailey is the man. This inspires me to become more dedicated.
If i just walked into that room and took a breath of air, i'd probably fail the drug tests in most competitions......
***** Look at this guy he's 16 and all natural. He trains really hard and a perfect diet as well as i know him personally. But you being a troll and unaware what that is would say roids.
P.S. The photo of him is when he was 15
bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/permalink/progress-photo/DennisBurgess/25595682
I've watched it and you can't deny . . . that is POWER !
Fucking BEAST POWER!
The music was cool.
This guy is awesome!!.....Well done!....Congrats from Russia!
Does the first guy have some sort of callus guard on his hand?
Is that a serious question or?
It was serious. It looked like a robber material or something. I'm not trying to be a troll. It's it just tape?
Jedd Johnson
yea i think its just some kind of tape
Cool.
Jedd Johnson
Go get yourself a dictionary and look up troll because you don't know what it means.
.
Random !
Look that up too while you`re there, too.
o0o
cuando necesito motivación para el gym me miro este video. BEAST MODE
I dont know why people talk down on crossfit, this sport is very taxing.
amazing playlist!!! last crossfit vid i watched, they were listening to mumford and sons....
Do you really think, you can get the body like Dan Bailey, by just doing crossfit? The guy from 3:29 is the maximum you can achieve.
Not ganna lie but your right lol
I have a pretty good body and i crossfit!
JP Dunas not close at all to dan bailey hahahaha, but im alright
Not true. At all.
Lol. Dan's on gear
I wish the sound worked. I watched it before and love the soundtrack.
The kid in the light blue shorts kips are in horrible form, did any of them count?
watch out for the form police
I don't do cross fit nor will I ever, but I don't talk trash on it. Just like power lifting and bodybuilding it is a lifestyle that a person chooses.
People who say Crossfit sucks.Lets see you do 15 minutes of it
Those who say ballett sucks have to do 15 mins of it too then?
Hell if they want, do you?
hahahhaha Crossfitters are so focused .. on the wrong things
The fact that I cant do 15 mins of it, doesnt change the fact that Crossfit sucks for MY GOALS.
You goals must not be good. Please don't reply, have a nice day now.
Are they fucking serious with those pullups? that second guys face didnt even come to the bar on the majority of his reps.
TreSneaky haha the perfect way to fuck up the shoulders line is funny
yfzi so it's basically a competition to see who can fuck up their shoulders the fastest?
No I haven't. I like having shoulders that don't need surgery too much to try them.
All these people hating on these guys. It's pathetic that even though they put in so much work and 90% of your people commenting cannot even compare to this you want to put crossfit down. they are in better shape and most of you will ever be. give them some respect this is a spectacular display of stength
5:00 beast mode pull-ups.. oh wait
Seriously WTF is that?
Also, the eccentric part of the muscle ups just hurts watching.
@@Thyrfing666 the point here is not build muscle!!!!!!!!! woke up
Can anybody give me the PLAYLIST of the sick video? CrossFit®
classic dan bailey spit a 12:10 #bulldog XD
Amazing, this was such a hard workout to even attempt, good effort Dan, awesome effort.
HAHAHAHA that dudes pull ups at 5:00 what the fuck is that.
Beast Mode Dan! Awesome work bro
The right way to do the wrong pull up. Who needs form right?
That was a brutal combination!!! Wow Dan.
kid in the blue shorts is how 99% of the people who do crossfit look aesthetically, dudes like dan bailey and froning r the one percent exception
@butterybros
@@benjaminklein4721 Duuudee! Can't believe the butterybros have been there since the very beginning!
Dan is just awesome, sometimes i feel like judges don't give him some valid reps in the games 2012 and 2013, but he's a definetly an elite crossfitter, he souldve give a little push in 2014 games and he would be a number one contendor
doesnt roid hard enough to beat rich.
Beast!!!!
THIS VIDEO DESERVES MUCH MORE VIEWS THAN THIS. WHY YOU CANT ACCESS IT ON PHONE ?
that is INTENSE!
How did you not know? Dan Bailey is a famous Crossfitter - not to mention it's the first thing the description says..
Nice warmup.
Wow Dana Linn Bailey looks like a man now, she changed cycle?
LMAO
Seriously?
PURE RESPECT......SuperSized ThumBS up for DAN
These pullups look rushed. Not sure that this type of pull up is good for the shoulder joint.
they're muscle ups, but they're swinging themselves up instead of using actual strength
I don't think the dude in the video got the way he looked by doing these types of pullups.
Many people "learn" different exercises by observation. This is a classic case in which one may observe this big guy doing these types of pull ups and assume that is how he got to be the way he is. Then they will recreate this behavior, and see no results or get injured.
Andréas Remis fact is, he did. Welcome to CrossFit.
I think these type of pullups will definitely put the person at more risk for injury. Especially if they are a beginner.
Dan is a BEAST! Wow! Great work!
Its nice to see that people eat clen and tren hard in Crossfit too. Equal opportunity juicing imo. Also, From the description, I thought there was supposed to be a woman in this video?
Hopefully the heart keeps up with people who practice it. The best die young.
You can't be serious. They're all doing like one or two reps for each exercise, then going around repeating the same routine all over again. This is NOT the proper way to get fit.
Clearly…………..
Lol I can't tell if this guy is being sarcastic or an idiot
The day you can beat any one of these foks (even the girls) in a head to head fitness competition, is the day your opinion matters.
Do a crossfit workout and you'll see how out of shape you are. Bodybuilding for 2 years and ive started attempting crossfit and it makes you realize how much of animals these athletes are.
***** I was being sarcastic lol. Obviously you need to have training routine in order to do those workouts properly
This is super impressive. Dan Bailey is a premiere athlete. All the haters complaining about the pull-up form, wouldn't even make it thru the king-kong. Guys like Dan compete to be the fittest man on earth!! We're all couch potatoes compared to them!
Bro do ur knees hurt??
So the idea is to do every lift wrong and throw the weights as hard as you can? My mind was just blown watching their form...
no class in this so called sport
Queue injuries to lower back and knees in 3.. 2... 1...
how can people dislike this? huge effort in this
Outstanding athlete but, Is it safe for your heart? O_o
Is that a serious fucking question?
Trevor Contreras dont be mean, not everyone knows everything about everything
Trevor Contreras I like the whole thing, but as far as I understand they usually working "over the top", but everyone and everything have its limits. So thats why I ask.
Professional sport may be dangerous,(and crossfit relatively new discipline) so yes it is a serious question.
As far as high intensity training goes... conditioned athletes who have worked hard all their lives are at low risk of cardiovascular issues from cross fit. But someone who has never exercised and finally deciding to exercise should not start with high intensity training it would be a shock to the system. Gradual build up.
***** It's like dying in battle)
Thanks for the support!!!
pull up are like 90% momentum? xD
Beast doesnt do any justice to what this guy is! My god I got a workout just watching that! That was insane!
Kipping level 10
I finished the workout in 9 minutes and 42 seconds... then I woke up and had a cookie for breakfast
that would have taken me atleast an hour
This is a killer mix, I'd love to crossfit to this mix haha, Props to this dude though.
song: Miami Showdown - Digitalism
Women that have bigger muscles than the average man look gross imo. Maybe that's just me :/
I am in awe...the dedication and work ethic by these people is unbelievable! "GO YOU GUYS!" It inspires me to go more, do more and be more. Thanks for raising the bar, People! This music makes me want to crush things. #CrossFit #fitnessmotivation #lovinglife
They would have interesting results at CrossFit games if they'd included an event called 'Drug-Testing'.
They do. Douche bag.
Yes.
Baldó Buczi Because i'm sure drug testing hasn't also advanced since 1988 either..
Sifa Tulikihihifo kipping is cheating
Yea, we don't cheat our way through our workouts sifa :-)
i know that, respect for some of the workouts they're crazy, in a good way! honestly tho wide grip chins are better
Heber didn't touch the bar with his body once, as far as I could see. Thus: No rep! Dan's performance was amazing. Respect.
Have the time they are throwing the weight around instead of actually lifting it!
if thats the case then explain to me how Dan is such a beast?
It would definitely improve their times
***** I'm sure all your lifting is in perfect form right? You finish in the to 10 at the crossfit games?
*Half.
James McDermott
Proper form is the base of any athlete. If you're going for your max, ok, it may slip. But during your workout routine? There's no excuse to have shitty form.
I love Crossfit!
Why would you like to look like that as a woman?
That was a woman?
Because not everyone has the same sense of style that you do. Some people like juicy couture sweats pants and uggs, some of us would never be caught dead wearing any of that. Maybe her body isn't appealing to you but you could try to respect the difference of aesthetic opinion and admire her for all the hard work she's put into getting her body to look like that.
batidadefresa
What you do is basically transform you to the most masculine form of you. Some guys find masculine woman nice looking, and all the best to them. I don't.
***** Ewwwwies masculine women!
mikfax
Fuck you drunk, indeed.
What an absolute beast!! very inspiring haychee...
wtf is the point of doing those kipping pull-ups...
I see crossfit as a way of doing whatever you can to get the most reps in.
Its all about work capacity. How much stuff can you do, and how fast can you do it. Butterfly pullups, although weird looking, is the fastest way to repeatedly get your chin over the bar.
kcummo Is there any physical benefit to doing this? Or is it just a competitive thing only?
Eduardo Saldana not really i do crossfit and i find butterfly pull ups is the way to snap city on ur shoulders, the normal kipping or just strict is the way to go.
hugh escario a new study came out that said crossfit is ridiculous because there's no benefit over other exercises and it's extremely dangerous lol. but you do your thing
Absolutely Incredible
what the fuck kind of pull ups are those? at 4 mins
This Playlist is pretty serious!!!
That squid doing Fran sucks at life. Get your chin over the bar if you're going to do garbage pull-ups
Omg it was driving me crazy trying to figure out what this song was called...THANKS!!!
I hate when ppl slam weights.
just in case you were curious, Those weights are specifically designed to be "slammed" or since we are intelligent people we could classify this as "dropped." Also, since we are intelligent, We can note that a deadlift is completed at the top of the movement with completely opened hips.
It has nothing to do with purpose or ones intelligence I hate the noise. Just a lil fun fact about me.
Dez Hoffert your'e stupid this is crossfit bitch..
Then why are you watching a weight training-related video? Go watch some Ballet.
it saves your lower back so it doesn't get fucked up by the momentum
they are muscle ups, which incorporate the pull up into a dip at the top of the movement
Yeah... Pull-ups, rings muscle-ups and handstand push-ups are soooo cheating... But Dan is such a monster anyways! Over 16 mins of interval training - thats freaking BRUTAL! :O
