Those 25 Ta Life shows in the 90s were great! Hard and brutal, loved dancing to them. Coney Island High!
Well, actually Keepin It Real by 25ta life is pretty dope record from 90s. Demos also good. Fred Mesk's riffs are great.
No doubt I still throw it on ,shits brutal, Short Fuse was my theme song back then . I remember when rick started going off the deep end back in the late 90's and had the rest of the band play keeping it real possibly 3 times . Definitely 2 times back to back , crowd went nuts but the whole band was furious and he wouldn't let it go

I almost give Green Day a pass. They've had that radio friendly, pop punk sound since their first album way back in the late 80's... still hate em', if you liked them back then, you might still like them now. Not much has changed...
Is the function of bands like 25 Ta Life to ensure that the band members and their fans can never get laid?
Bad Religion really does suck. So boring.
I also agree that American Idiot is absolutely awful, and that Rick ta Life is goofy.

In my humble opinion it's the best hardcore record ever...way ahead of its time,if you listen to it search Dissolve 93 DEMO and remember that they wrote and released it in 93!!!!!

The one band that I want to really really like is boysetsfire. I feel like they're viewed as such a pinnacle of the posthardcore sound but when you listen to them they are about as exciting as rush hour traffic.
The original members of 25 ta life got back together without Rick to try and make a go of it without him. They said they were trying to restore the bands dignity before Rick ruined it all. They said Rick call them but they wanted nothing to do with him and wrote him off. I was never a fan, so I never listened to the new version. But I'm sure it sounds just as crappy as there original stuff. I get more enjoyment out of seeing people take a piss out of Rick ta life than I do their music.
Not true, Rick never called them about that stuff, and the music is obviously a matter of opinion, but I would say give the songs stay up and heroin demon off strength,integrity,brotherhood those are pretty brutal produced by The Thomas of risk taken and shai hulud.
