Craig, this is the most beautiful song i've heard in a very long time. This song has singlehandedly changed my life forever. It has given me so much strength and has helped me through a lot of hardship in my life. I sincerely thank you for composing such a masterpiece and please do us all a favor and keep up the mind blowing work!
I WANT TABS !!!!!!!! this was such a beautiful piece i loved it so much. i have always wanted to grow up and be these guys. they are just so amazing. each of their songs have so much emotion and feeling it it. Bravo!
ok i love rpoland for signing amazing artists like this man right here. The most underlooked people in the music world simply because their songs arent about sex or drugs or violence. personally i have no clue what this guy meant this song to be about but i honestly dont care. it is simply beautiful.
I am so impressed with the clientele of guitarists who have supported Candy Rat! my first influence was Andy McKee who has seemingly with the help of other have reintroduced a world of re-considerations for what is guitar music. A perfect execution of disciplines for the guitar. I am so thankful for TH-cam & people like yourself. I look back, and now rethink what it is we should be doing with the guitar. Rock the Planet and Keep the Faith for our future generations. You give me hope! Kerry.
Fabulous!!! It's great to hear a young guy playing guitar pieces in which melody and harmony still reign supreme as opposed to the all too common urge that turns the instrument into a medium for little more than percussive riffs. Keep up the terrific effort. You made my day, Craig. Thanks.
Bravo!! Absolutely beautiful!! Been playing for 30 years myself, well, drums for 30 and guitar for a good 20 or so..... Play the same style of music on my acoustic and wow you make it look easy lol and you don't miss a note, very well done now this is great music!! Just found you and now this is what all of my customers at work will hear as well!! Thank you! Keep it up!!😀😀😀
The first video I saw I though was coincidence to find some cords that sounds what I want to play, but now, listening for this one I know I found a new idol. Tks for you music. Tks a lot...
Shadow dude im standing up for talent which people who dislike this have no respect for. any real music fan appreciates any music with effort heart and skill involved.
I absolutely love this song. I could listen to it for hours. And I think this music is GOOD music, and the definition of good music is however the person listening feels or is like. I mean I love music that is challenging, has depth to it, and has feeling behind it. Some music nowadays(I'm not trying to bash anyone) is just "played" in the sense of doing it because your supposed to do it. He didn't just play, he performed and put everything he felt and soul into the music. Now that's good music.
I gotta say man; you, antoine dufour, and andy mckee are my three favorite acoustic players. But when people ask me which ones I like more, I can't answer it. you're all three in a tie for the top rank due to the fact that you all have your own wonderfully mesmerizing sounds. Great work buddy! =D
A gem in my favorites list, too! Supporting the things that speak to us is important. Musicians motivated by mastery could perhaps be better incentivized... by my my hope is that Craig is living comfortably and is touring/providing lessons for the sake of craftsmanship and that superficialities like youtube hits is never a factor.
Love to see the 5 ppl that 'didn't like' try playing this music with this much emotion attached. Oh wait, they're probably Def Leppard fans... pfffff Great skills and feeling. 10+!!!
Just finished learning this song, i'll be posting a cover video soon. It was much more difficult then I anticipated. Good work Craig, looking forwards to more
Craig this is such an awesome song, probably my favorite! Your style is such an inspiration to me, getting a debut album recorded right now. Hope to see you in Austin, TX!
@hugenoodles agreed! saw him live in charlotte playing this song among others. was definitely an honor. also a great story behind this song in particular.
I'm not sure if it's that or just the fact that pop culture tends to expose more artists that are basically geared toward just making money. Generally people I introduce to this kind of music love it. That's why it's our job to get word of mouth going because you're right: sadly these guys are getting much less recognition than they deserve.
@MrSister127 No. What I'm saying is that both of those note NAMES cannot exist in the same chord. So in this tuning it is an Eb and not a D#. Technically, Eb and D# are the same pitch assuming we don't have a key we are sticking to. Get it?
@SafetyMan911 To be honest I haven't broken a string in a loooong loong time. Only get breaks if strings are on for a few days. A new set should not break for two or three days depending on how many times you change tunings. Currently I am using Black Diamond strings. They hold up fine.
This song randomly pops into my head so often. I don't know what that means, but it's a great piece of music.
Same here dude still come back to listen from time to time. It has such a nostalgic feel to it
Same here, I'll just randomly remember it
Same!
Definitely one of my favorite songs by Craig! Awesome job Breeaahhh!
If anyone is still wondering, Craig is playing a Beneteau SJ here, his 7 string baritone is also a Beneteau.

Sounds like these make me thankful that I can hear.
The world simply fades away and there is just bliss.

I WANT TABS !!!!!!!! this was such a beautiful piece i loved it so much. i have always wanted to grow up and be these guys. they are just so amazing. each of their songs have so much emotion and feeling it it. Bravo!
Getting better with each year. Watching this guy progress has been awesome and inspiring
probably my favorite off the album. Absolute gold. All the right notes, melodies and composition...

Amazing what you're able to create with your fingers! Keep on like that!
you'd be amazed if you only knew what I could do with my fingers too.
This has been my favorite acoustic guitar song since I heard it the first time :) I'm sad it's off Spotify :(

Oh man, this spoke to my soul, well done.
Hey Craig! Great seeing you and the rest of the crew last night in Houston! Great show! Looking forward to more in the future!
A gem in my favorites list, too!

Where did Craig go? Is he still composing and recording? Still in the business?
A really nice song. Good work!!
Such a beautiful song, not overplayed at all, and a great recording. The passage at 0:47 reminds me of either old Don Ross or old Billy Mclaughlin.
Dude, this is beautiful, you guys with candy rat inspired me (a full blown metal head) to look into other types of music
Love to see the 5 ppl that 'didn't like' try playing this music with this much emotion attached. Oh wait, they're probably Def Leppard fans... pfffff Great skills and feeling.
10+!!!
LoL as Craig takes us all to Music 101 xP love all your songs sir.
I did tab it and it is available to purchase through Candyrat
These guys were awesome at the candyrat guitar night in D.C.
hell yeah, i was hoping he would do a video of this one
Man, I love this one! Gerat tune.
Just finished learning this song, i'll be posting a cover video soon. It was much more difficult then I anticipated. Good work Craig, looking forwards to more

why is it that this kind of music, especially from candyrat records, go unnoticed while what we hear on mainstream is complete trash? This IS music.

Not to take away from the AWESOME music. But what kind of mic is that where it has such good quality?
