Looks like im never playing the official smash remix release ever again 😂 this is a childhood dream come true, and executed very well, love his MvC moveset. The mods so well done that they really might as well add him into the official release. Dude has an N64 game, not just any N64 game but a damn classic. So he meets the "requirements" more than someone like Sonic would. I really hope the devs consider making it official 🙏🏼🤞
Yeah I love this too. Smash Remix doesn't listen to fan requests, so may as well play your own version featuring the webslinging Spidey. I love the work they put into this, making it look like he could be part of the game!
@MrKojoman Damn very true but if there's any 2 superheroes that have the best video games, it's arguably Spider-Man and Batman. But since only Spiderman was on N64 I would say he deserves a spot more than Batman and any other hero. I know they have a rule about characters that didn't originate from games, but he has so many beloved games released on Nintendo console that he deserves it imo. Either way I'm happy with the mod on its own but he deserves to be considered, at least more than the vast majority of non-gaming characters

MVC reps of Spiderman & Ryu would be sick. We already got Spidey doing his thing here. Then Ryu would be Ultimate's Ryu, but with quicker combo game, and "Mode change." (Ryu, Ken, and Evil) It would be cool that they have their own "Marvel vs Capcom" logo to go with them too. On topic though, This mod looks super fun! I remember hearing that Smash 64 was one of the hardest Smash games to mod. Now I'm glad to be at a time where we get to see modders in full effect.

That's my thought too. Link's Hookshot/ClawShots and Samus' Grapple Beam HAVE to grab the surface of what they're trying to stick to in order to work, but Spidey's Web Swing sticking to nothing is NOT how this Web Swing works and worst of all, he can use it multiple times if you watch the Break the Targets stage. The latter of that being an issue is I think the aforementioned Link and Samus can only use their Clawshot and Grapple Beam once and if it doesn't connect, they're screwed. But I will admit I'm thinking in main Smash Bros logic so maybe it works differently here?
@@WyvernLP So it could be in reference to that, another thing I'll admit is I haven't read the comics, but given the general understanding of how he swings around the city, I thought his webs connect to something but maybe due to limited spacing on comic panels, they don't draw what Spidey connects to with his webs. Still seems really dumb if you ask me though.

Looks like Smash Remix is becoming the next Super Smash Flash; all the characters that were in Super Smash Bros. *before* had all *started out* as videogame characters. Spiderman started out as a *comic book* character; I get that he's been in videogames since, but based on the pattern I mentioned, I'd say his debuting as a comic character *disqualifies* him from the Smash roster if it's not something like Super Smash Flash.
Yea spidermans recovery is a bit too good he can basically be dropping from the right or left edges on the map and make it all the way back. Its like way to op for 64 standards
1v1 or any good player (not CPUs) would easily punish the down B, also the up B is useless unless on a perfect vertical side stage it just doesn't work to get him upward

@@WyvernLP So it could be in reference to that, another thing I'll admit is I haven't read the comics, but given the general understanding of how he swings around the city, I thought his webs connect to something but maybe due to limited spacing on comic panels, they don't draw what Spidey connects to with his webs. Still seems really dumb if you ask me though.
It's strange to find logic in this situation, but perhaps that's because we can see it clearly here; I wish it could at least stay stuck to the walls and ceiling for a while.

Looks like Smash Remix is becoming the next Super Smash Flash; all the characters that were in Super Smash Bros. *before* had all *started out* as videogame characters. Spiderman started out as a *comic book* character; I get that he's been in videogames since, but based on the pattern I mentioned, I'd say his debuting as a comic character *disqualifies* him from the Smash roster if it's not something like Super Smash Flash.

Yea spidermans recovery is a bit too good he can basically be dropping from the right or left edges on the map and make it all the way back. Its like way to op for 64 standards
1v1 or any good player (not CPUs) would easily punish the down B, also the up B is useless unless on a perfect vertical side stage it just doesn't work to get him upward

May I ask you something for the mod?.. since I see you know how to edit the game.. could you please please.. create just a room with the original characters.. but without something that provokes a bug on nintendo switch emulator? delete the classic poligonal sonic colors... :( it crashes the game every time you reach that color on any roster... just happen on this switch emulator.. not android nor pc :( nobody can help to fix it so..I think you could be the answer 😅 If we can makeba deal, I'd love that!
