6:03 That Cauldron is also the basis for the Cauldron in the book "The Black Cauldron", and the Disney movie of the same name, though the effect was somewhat different (even if the means of destruction was the same).
There is also a dragon, Nidhogg (also knows as Randar for I think untheric pantheon), he is determined to nibble on the roots of Ygrdassli attached to Nihlheim and separate it from the other norse realms.
Thank you so much! Ya these layer videos are short, but other than a handful of locations, the glooms of Hades just don’t have much lore. Abyss and the Nine Hells get all the love.
Ahem. 1e Deities and Demigods (a.k.a. Legends and Lore) stated that Arawn's home plane is on the Prime Material, located on an island that only the dead can find. That said, Manual of the Planes makes Arawn's Island of the Afterlife a formidable Power on his home plane as well as being able to be slain on it, (possibly being shunted off to the Astral where most dead gods end up). Any worshiper of death can revere Arawn, any Alignment. This greater god obviously does not like undead and magics that bring the dead back to life, even though he will trade occasionally. In 1e, deities such as Arawn, Dagda, Brigit, et al pay attention to Druids rather than Clerics. But never mind me. I'm here for backwards-compatible content I can use in my campaign.
Love your videos, would be cool to see an entry on Zuggtomy !
This is a great series of videos! Keep up the awesome work!
Man, just cranking out the bangers. Thank you
Less gloomy than the rest of the plane, but, still among the top 5 places you DO NOT want to go.

Yup, I didn’t mention them here cause I talk about in my Hades video.
Oh I miss the super deep dives. But thank you anyway. You are one impressive person.

I guess Planescape put him on Hades. Good bit of lore though, I’m always learning something new.
What prime are those associated with?
I hear this as Nippleheim.
