I have to say I enjoyed this guided tour. Not only did you discuss the lore but you did so in a somewhat unique way as you went over the differences in the different editions.

This was one of the best series I've ever seen on TH-cam What a blast. You bring so much more information to the table than even other famous d&d TH-camrs do and I love all the artwork You are doing a fantastic job keep it up!

In first and second editions, an inch was 10 feet indoor and 10 yards outdoors, in the wild.
In the Planescape setting, Baator is described as a claustrophobic plane. The deeper one goes, the more intense that feeling get. Even if every layer is effectively boundless, they feel enclosed, limited, constricted.

These have all been really great! Thank you for making them

As Baator is fully observed, what shall he show next, I wonder.

I love asmodeius. In the lesser key of solomon he appears as an infernal devil riding a dragon. He gives invincibility too which is nice. The lesser key of solomon is a real life spellbook of black magic used by excorcists and necromancers.

My friend was just showing me the Keys of Solomon! All of the wacky archdevil names come from that.

Ah yes the layer where Asmo secretly watches all the other devils like his own personal reality TV channel 😂. But seriously great job on these videos, can't wait to see what you tackle next

I'm a lawful Paladin but I must say, you can't have a great story without an even greater villain. Asmo is my favorite antagonist ever from DnD. He should be the final boss to defeat or purify in the end.

Nah. Get Asmo on your side to end the worst and most dangerous evil. To end the Abyss and stop evil completely.
Kill. Tharizdun. ...if you can. 😉

I have loved your video series through the layers of the nine hells. I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into these videos and I’ve found them incredibly informative. It makes me want to take an adventuring party in a trip through hell. Love the videos and I can’t wait to see where you take us next. Thank you very much for all the work you put into this. I was curious on each of the nine layers and I had trouble finding a good video until I came across yours.

An Abyss series would be pretty awesome, the lore of the main demon lords layers is really expansive and has probably changed a lot throughout the editions.

Excellent work. The algorithm is picking your content up and you deserve a spot among the other lore tubers for your content. Please keep up the work and do all the outer plains and you will keep growing and god willing make a living from this. Best wishes and good luck to you bro!

Great series so far! I'd love to see this journey continue around the Great Wheel to cover the whole battleground of the Blood War, on the lower planes. I'm not sure how much there is to cover on Gehenna, been too long since I checked, but I think Hades has at least 3 layers and a lot of stuff going on. 🤔

Man keep it coming. I wonder if any ancient issues of Dragon Magazine were used for any research?
It's making me want to collect them again. Those issues were well written. I wouldn't mind trying to get my claws on some

Did you stumble on a used stack at a store? These things are worth money now. I stopped decades ago. The European market pays twice the amount for them. But don't sell (that was the general rule years ago). Keep them. It will only increase.

As a general rule, most DMs ignore 4th edition. There's a few cool ideas I've come across, but I have to agree with you. Much of it is kinda crummy.
I can't believe how much detail you've included.

Any chance that there will be a mini video about the rulers before Asmodeus?

    • @Genghis_Sean
      @Genghis_Sean  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Not much to say on the topic unfortunately. The beings Lucifer and Satan used to rule and they are only mentioned in Dragon #28 and Book of Vile Darkness. I don’t think it’s even considered canon anymore.

In 3.5 Nessus is infinitely deep so neither Malsheem nor Fortress Nessus can be at the bottom.
