When Rhaenyra found Lucerys' cloak on the beach along with Arrax's wing, Syrax was screaming not only because she felt Rhaenyra's pain, but because she was Arrax's mother. Two mothers found the remains of their sons.
I suspect his exact phrasing was "a son for a son", considering the goldcloak repeats those same words, which Daemon says to Rhaenys at the beginning of the episode, during the execution.
To clarify, the show made it ambiguous to not spoil the "surprise" but it's quite clear that when they asked Daemon what to do if they couldn't find Aemond, Daemon said they could kill Jaehaerys instead. this can be proven because although the scene cuts out, Blood later said Daemon told them "a son for a son" which can only have been said AFTER they asked him the original question. there's no reason Daemon wouldn't be averse to this type of vengeful and cruel murder, especially considering his first scene was also arguing for "a son for a son" edit after episode 2: since Ryan Condal said it was left up to interpretation, I still 100% believe that Daemon ordered his death, but I do love that both interpretations would still make him a bad person (my interpretation makes him a monster who's willing to murder a child, the opposite interpretation makes him a monster weaponizing incompetence to murder a child)
there is a scene later from a promo in which rhaeneyra says that you have wounded me to daemon, and then talks about how the people are not in her support, because she gets to know that daemons the one who ordered it...
Thank you!! People just seem to ‘conveniently’ miss this or just choose to ignore it. It was very obvious to me too and im tired of being called delusional for pointing it out! 😭
Well, going based on your judgment of character and assumptions, one could also assume Daemon meant Aegon instead of Jaehaerys. Who would really want the head of a small child for your wife to be happy? Doesn't sound right... seems like something Rhyanera wouldn't like to see at all. She wanted AEMOND. Second best, Aegon. She wanted the boy that slaughtered hers. Not a defenseless baby.
fun stark fact: jace spent more time in the north than it seems. he and cregan grew very close friends, cregan felt jace’s pain cause he lost a lil bro too. they hunted together and made a pact that jace’s heir would marry cregan’s child for his support in war.
hearing the stark theme in the beginning was so nostalgic, phia saban's (helaena) acting was so good in that scene, the way she basically dissociates after pointing to jaehaerys was so well acted.. the new opening credits starts from the doom of old valyria to aegon the conqueror until we get to rhaenyra and aegon.
9:20 You guys saw that after saying that she is afraid of the rats she looked directly at the cradle of little Jaehaerys, she had a prophetic dream about the death of her own son. And before Aegon entered the room, Helaena said, "They just want the boy".
Oh SNAP. He is the kings guard and the king was in the hall so he should have been protecting the queen. I was wondering why it was so empty upstairs. I hope he gets punished. I don’t like him. At all!
not so fun fact: The end scene was much more brutal in the books. When the assassins get to Helaena’s chambers they tie her and Alicent up. They ask Helaena to pick which of her sons they kill - the 6 year old Jaehaerys or 3 year old Maelor. Jaehaerys was the main target from the get go (not Aemond), they only gave her the illusion of a choice to torture her. When she refuses to pick they threathen her with r*aping her 6 year old daughter so she picks Maelor, hoping he’d be too young to understand what is happening. Blood then whispers into Maelor’s ear “You hear that boy? Your mama wants you dead” and strikes off the head of Jaehaerys instead. - yes i stole this sorry lol
Just learned that Arrax, riden by Lucerys, was one of the three eggs from Syrax, Rhaenyra's dragon. Which means that Rhaenyra and her dragon both lost a son. And in that scene on the beach, they are both mourning the loss which makes that even more heartbreaking watching this back.
what a terrible feminist show , showing that men are all evil , in the books ,rhanerya was a terrible charachter who did horrible things, this feminist show is changing alot from the books and making daemon weak compared to the female charachtera.
@@steeverogers5274It’s almost like Season 1 didn’t exist for you LOL For me Rhaenys is the only one in the show to match Daemons Elegance/Swagger… she was not wrong when she said “You are not THE KING” :)
After this, they decide never to have rat catchers in the Red Keep again, so they replace them with cats. That’s why the Red Keep is so full of cats in Game of Thrones.
aegon treating the throne like a garage hangout session with his boys was sooooo good. i was curious how the show would handle his reign and i really, really like how they’ve characterized him here - ultimately surprisingly (not a joffrey - at least not when it comes to the smallfolk) well meaning but (no pun intended) very green.
I hate Aegon don’t get me wrong. But I love the way he sounded so pure and well intentioned in that scene when he was addressing the concerns of the common folk and tried to convince Otto to at least let that one guy have his sheep replenished cause “he came all this way.” It’s very minimal ik but I like that portrayal of him actually trying to help the people and how it’s Otto that has to ruin it.
@lgth.jne2 In the context of war and if you’re taking the green’s side, yeah. My point is that Otto’s presence/influence over his grandson allows him to manipulate Aegon in ways similar to how he influenced/manipulated Alicent. That he’s a bad guy whose only true interest is that of his house and in this instance, safeguarding them in advance of a war.
@@Sageddegas 😭 JFC No but again yall, my point isn’t that Otto’s necessarily wrong for what he’s advising Aegon on or that pointing out objective facts of the matter is him being “manipulative.” It’s that Aegon is easily sway-able by a significant and convincing authority figure in his life that is his grandfather. The fact that what Otto’s saying actually makes sense is irrelevant.
@@patmcconnell9956 i loved aegon in this scene as well, he had good intentions but was somehow naive. I think that this scene is not really manipulation by Otto, but rather a showcase of why he is hand. Ppl can dislike Otto as much as they want but he was the hand for decades and a good one, he knows what he is talking about. But aegon brought forth a more compassionate stand for the smallfolk which i appreciate
The intro is filled with so much lore. It shows the doom of valyria, daenys the dreamer seeing it coming. The biggest lore drop is what looks like the stabbing of nissa nissa. Its a legend from the great empire of the dawn, an ancient empire that existed further east of slavers bay that we thought was a progenitor to valyria and theres all kind of evidence they were ancient dragonlords. The stabbing of nissa nissa was what supposedly caused the 1st long night.
Rhaenys couldn’t have killed Aegon - there’s extreme taboo against “kinslaying” on top of it not being her call. What Aemond did marks him forever - Aemond the Kinslayer is maybe worse in Westeros epithets than Jaime the Kingslayer.
Imma just correct you guys on the end, Daemon is fine with the death of Jaeherys. When they asked what to do if they can’t find Aemond he smiles. He wants Aegons line gone.
Why do people keep saying he smiled or smirked? He didn't. He just looked at them in silence, then the scene ended. It was left vague for this very reason, for the audience to question what he said or didn't say.
@@MyUniqueVibe because he did, I just rewatched the scene and he was smirking the whole time. Besides they literally say daemon said a son for a son so it’s pretty clear what he told them
@@ellie5995 When the question was asked, his facial features did not change (his lips were a horizontal line). I don't understand why some people are trying to gaslight other people here. He was not smiling or smirking after the question was asked. And besides, some people have claimed he smiled/smirked "After" Cheese asked the question, and not before. So if he was smirking the whole time, how does that translate into = kill the child. Oh, and no, he was not smiling or smirking before the scene changed. Daemon is a complicated character. He would be fine with ordering the death of a child, but the scene was shot in such a way as it was left ambiguous if he did order them to kill any son. Why was it ambiguous? Because it will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.
@@MyUniqueVibe dude idk what to tell you, he was definitely smirking. Either way he didn’t care about the death of Jaeherys. I’m not in the mood to debate over a character smirking lol so agree to disagree. Also gaslighting? Be Fr, that’s a crazy take
@@ellie5995 Nope. You're literally wrong. He was not smirking. Idc if you walk away, but you are wrong. You can't gaslight people and expect not to get called out.
the "blood and cheese" was so much worse in books than in show. blood made helaena choose her favourite children that she wanted to save or he will rape her 5 year old daughter. she begged them to kill her instead but they denied. she choose maelor, maybe because jaehaerys was heir , and the boys were awake all the time and watched everything. then blood whispered in maelor's ear "your mama wants you dead and killed other one. the boy probably remembers that his mother chose him to die and Helaena could not look in her child's ever again
@@adry3211It wasn’t an accident. Vhagar is a war dragon and all she knows is that her rider was mad and she felt that. She was reacting from what he made her do because he chose to chase Luke. I also know that in the books he did it on purpose, not on accident so yeah. The Blacks are justified. Aemond harbored hate and this is what happened due to his hate for his nephew.
There is a bigger significance to the Starks sending the older men that Creegan called the Greybeards. In the main book series, they talk about how during long winters in the North, when food stores run low, the old men in the family will say that they are going out hunting, when in fact, they are leaving to sacrifice themselves in order to not be a burden on their family. A couple of times this episode it was said that they are on the cusp of winter. Older Northern soldiers would rather volunteer to go fight for a cause that they can support as an alternative way to not be a burden on their family. A similar scenario is discussed in the main book series for a different fight.
I love that yall noticed how bad aegon is at politicking. He wants to be loved so badly that he was willing to give the smallfolk whatever they asked for lmao, not realizing they're on the cusp of winter and war and need resources.

Does anybody know how many dragons there are? I am so confused because if I list it down... Team Black has around 6-8 dragons while Team Green has only 3 dragons. We only even see Vhagar from Team Green, and still have not seen Sunfyre (Aegon) and Dreamfyre (Helaena). For black, we've seen Syrax, Caraxes, Meleys, Vermax, and then the still unseen Moondancer (Baela's) and Tyraxes (Joffrey's). We even get to see Daemon possibly taming Vermithor in Season 1, the huge one in the dark ahh cave. Then also Seasmoke who currently has no rider after Laenor leaving Westeros. There are also 4 more unnamed wild dragons in Dragonstone. My point is... Team Black has soooo many dragons. Are we to assume there are more dragons in the Red Keep?
Daemon annoyed me so much this episode blaming everyone else. But I loved Aegon this episode, for all how uninterested and bratty he was season 1, he now tries to be a good dad, husband and king, and recognizes the smallfolk.
I don’t think he’s a good dad, he doesn’t know his son’s schedule or even the difference between his children. I feel like he just brought his son to the small consul to fuck around and cause trouble not because he genuinely cares
@GurschlempfMurrtelburfge No i think its directly tied to him wanting to be a better father for his son than viserys was to him. That's why he brought his son to the small council. To prepare him to rule, something he wished viserys would've done for him. Now is he a great dad no but he clearly wants to do better than viserys
5:39 I thought it was bad that Jace came home straight away, I wanted to see more scenes of Jace in the north. The books have several moments of Jace in the north, but apparently the writers chose not to include them, it's a real shame. 6:42 Rhaenys' Scene with Daemon Eva best who plays the character Rhaenys I talk about her scene with Daemon. "When we did that in the reading and it seemed like a kind of trump card, like whoever has more power" (...) so, what he throws at her in that scene entirely reflects him and his own vulnerability and a desperate need to blame someone" "Understanding that thing about being an outsider. Those who have been mistreated, those who haven't gotten the position they were raised in or deserve, I feel like there's a deep understanding that Rhaenyra resonates with a lot." As Rhaenyra was absent for days, it was probably the daemon who received Alicent's letters. I imagine he burned all of Alicent's letters. (I would do the same thing) I'm sure he did this the first moment he read it "Friend, how are you? How are you?🥰 I'm sorry for your son😰🤧 You know how it is, accidents happen🤷♀️ but move forward and lift your head so the crown (a princess's, not a Queen's) doesn't fall off, right lol I miss you already." (bro when Alicent speaks The fact that I sent the letters made me angry because, bro, it's only the scriptwriters who can do this shit, I hope Daemon burned all the fake letters. 14:00 I wanted to talk about Rhaenyra in the book in relation to how Lucerys' death happened. How sad Vhagar must have been, the dragon who ended her boy's life. Riding Visenya,a woman she clearly admired and then her beloved Laena. Rhaenyra clearly admired the conqueror. She wore her hair normally tied in a long braid, like her ancestor and even named her daughter after her, who unfortunately did not survive. Besides, in the book the relationship between Laena and Rhaenyra was different. They flew together, visited each other and she was with Laena in her final moments. They promised their children: Jace to Baela and Luke to Rhaena, when the boys were four and three and the girls two. How sad it must have been to think that the dragon that once belonged to a woman she so admired and was inspired by and then to such a dear friend was the very one who killed her son. 20:26 Daemon was Anxious throughout the episode, lashing out at everyone he talked to because he was worried about Rhaenyra. He probably hadn't slept for days, not knowing if she was safe. Then she came back and he did his best to comfort her. (The funny thing is that Dameon was mad at everyone and blamed everyone, but when Rhaenyra arrived he was calm with her presence) They [Daemon and Rhaenyra] have a connection that no one else on the show shares, they are almost the same person, in different bodies. Sarah Hess. Matt Smith: “[Blood&Cheese] It's love, grief and vengeance. Daemon feels it's impossible not to exact that feeling of revenge when it's in him... [Jaehaerys' death] isn't his mistake ultimately, but he does put it in motion.” 21:49 Jace's scene with Rhaenyra was very beautiful. Jace placing the crown in front of the mourning is Rhaenyra putting the pain aside to comfort. He trying to hold back to say what he managed and clinging to her afterwards. This scene is important to show that Rhaenyra raised her children in a very loving way. On the other hand, we have a mother (Alicent) who is extremely negligent and neglectful and on the other, Nyra is simply being loving towards all of her children. Seriously, they put the scene of Alicent lighting the candle for Lucerys, seriously, scriptwriters, this woman doesn't care about Rhaenyra's children, she calls hers bastards and tried to take a child's eye out and then put this ridiculous scene of hers, She called the jace and luke from savages... said he would rather die than let Helaena marry jace... spent 10 years questioning the legitimacy of the Children and putting a target on their and Rhaenyra's foreheads... but yes he does everything I felt the parallel of the wake with Alicent's fake, They are forcing too much, Alicent clearly never liked Rhaenyra's children but is called empathetic for lighting a candle at Lucerys' death... however, Rhaenyra who never had anything against Is Helaena called fake for showing empathy towards another innocent mother? Sometimes it's difficult to understand people, but she's the victim, folks.. she started the war by accident.. she sent Larys to kill Mysaria's informants by accident.. she spent 10 years preparing Aegon to be king by accident. .she questioned the legitimacy of luke/ep8 without meaning to.. she is just the victim of the patriarchy, incredible how everything they do the producers want to make accidental. "Ah, they didn't want to usurp the throne", "Aemond didn't want to kill the boy", damn what a bummer. 22:14 They didn't have Lucerys' body for the funeral so to represent him throughout his life, Jace wore his newborn clothes, Joffrey his toy as a child, Rhaenyra her clothes as an adult.
To everyone who hate the show version of blood and cheese Know that is hard to make child actors to act out that scene They might not understand reality from acting and it might have some mental toll on them Book is imaginary and everything written in it cannot be actually done Understand that
Arrax (Luke's dragon) was Syrax's (Rhaenyra's dragon) kin. She most likely bore his egg right before Luke was born. So both Rhae and her dragon lost their child. Which when you think of their bond, they're probably in such grief together.
9:42 Alicent: Where is duty?? Where is sacrifice?? Crispy: Its trampled between your pretty legs😂😂 *after the act Alicent: Exhausting, wasnt it?? Crispy: yep, Hiding beneath the cloak of your own righteous gown😂😂
Sadly in this world it seems if you don't step up, you get stepped on. You can't just be a shadow on the floor doing nothing and expect to survive very long in a family of murderously evil people
A lot of people who read the Book Fire and Blood don't like what they did with Cheese and Blood because they changed things. I'm going to give my opinion on the whole episode, so I liked the episode but I expected more from the episode, about the blood and cheese I thought it was cool but it could be much better. I'm going to talk now about what really happened in the Book Fire and Blood. Blood and Cheese is one of the darkest moments of the civil war between the Targaryens, known as the Dance of the Dragons. After receiving information about Luke's death at the hands of Aemond, the Black Council met at Dragonstone and received a raven from Prince Daemon, who at that time was in Harrenhal. "An eye for an eye, a son for a son," wrote Prince Daemon."Lucerys will be avenged." Thus begins one of the bloodiest chapters of Dance. "Let it not be forgotten: in his youth, Daemon Targaryen was the Prince of the City, his face and his laughs were familiar to all the pickpockets, whores and gamblers of Flea Bottom. The prince still had friends in the lowest reaches of King's Landing and followers among the gold cloaks. Unbeknownst to King Aegon, the Hand, or the Dowager Queen, he also had allies at court, even on the green council... And another intermediary, a special friend whom he trusted completely, who knew the taverns and rat pits that festered in the shadows of the Red Keep, as Daemon himself had known, and moved with ease in the shadows of the city. He sought out this pale stranger then, by secret means, to enact terrible revenge." Her intermediary, as it turns out later, was (Mysaria) and she is the one who recruits Blood and Cheese, in King's Landing. Blood is described as brutish and deadly, and he had been a sergeant among the Gold Cloaks (City Guard), but was permanently dismissed for beating a prostitute to death during a drunken binge. Cheese, in turn, was the rat exterminator of the Red Keep and therefore knew all the entrances and exits of the Castle and he is the one who takes Blood to the interior of the castle, without them being seen by anyone. “Cheese knew the Red Fortress better than the shape of his own dick,” says Cogumelo. The hidden doors and secret tunnels Maegor the Cruel had constructed were as familiar to the exterminator as they were to the rats he hunted. Using a forgotten passage, Cheese took Blood to the heart of the castle, without being seen by any guards. Some say that the prey was the king himself, but Aegon was accompanied by the Kingsguard wherever he went, and not even Cheese knew of an entrance or exit from Maegor's Fortress other than the drawbridge that passed over the dry moat and its formidable iron spikes. The Tower of the Hand was less dry. The two men climbed the walls, avoiding the spearmen stationed at the tower doors. Ser Otto's quarters were of no interest to them. They went directly to his daughter's quarters, one floor below. Queen Alicent had come to live there after the death of King Viserys, when her son Aegon moved to Maegor's Keep with his queen. After they entered, Cheese tied and gagged the widowed queen while Blood strangled her chambermaid. Then they sat down to wait, as they knew that it was Queen Helaena's custom to take her children to see their grandmother every night before they went to sleep. Oblivious to the danger, the queen appeared as dusk spread across the castle, accompanied by her three children. Jaehaerys and Jaehaera were six years old and Maelor was two. When they entered the chambers, Helaena was holding his little hand and calling her mother's name. Blood blocked the door and killed the queen's guards while Cheese appeared to get Maelor. -If they scream, everyone will die - Sangue warned His Grace. Queen Helaena kept her cool, they say. -Who are you? -he asked the two. -Debt collectors -said Cheese. -An eye for an eye, a son for a son. We just want one to settle the score. We will not harm rest of you, not by a hair's breadth. What does Your Grace want? lose? When she understood what he meant, Queen Helaena pleaded for men to kill her in the place of one of her children. -A wife is not a son, said Blood. -It has to be one boy. Cheese warned the queen to choose quickly, before Blood was left I'm tired of the little girl. -Choose - he said -, otherwise we will kill everyone. On her knees, crying, Helaena chose the youngest, Maelor. Perhaps she had thought the boy was too young to understand,or perhaps it was because the oldest boy, Jaehaerys, was the firstborn and heir of King Aegon, next in line of succession to the Iron Throne. -Are you listening, little boy? -Cheese whispered to Maelor. -Your mom wants you dead. He gave Blood a smile, and the hulking swordsman killed Prince Jaehaerys, taking the boy's head off with a single blow. The queen began to scream. Strangely enough, the rat exterminator and the butcher were true to their word. They did no harm to Queen Helaena or her surviving children, but they fled with the prince's head in their hands. A scream sounded, but Queijo knew the secret passages that the guards did not, and the killers fled. Two days later, Blood was captured at the Gate of the Gods trying to leave King's Landing with Prince Jaehaerys' head in one of his saddlebags. Under torture, he confessed that he was taking the head to Harrenhal, to collect his reward from Prince Daemon. He too gave a description of the prostitute he claimed had hired them: an older woman, foreign in her accent, with a cape and hood, very pale. The other prostitutes called her Myseria. After thirteen days of torment, Blood was finally able to die. Queen Alicent ordered Larys Clubfoot to learn his name so he could bathe in the blood of his wife and children, but our sources do not say whether this happened. Ser Luthor Largent and his golden cloaks searched the Street of Silk from top to bottom and investigated and stripped every prostitute in King's Landing, but found no sign of either Cheese or White Worm. In his grief and fury, King Aegon Il ordered all of the city's rat exterminators to be captured and hanged, and this was done. (Ser Otto Hightower took a hundred cats to the Red Keep to take their place.) Although Blood and Cheese spared her life, Queen Helaena didn't exactly survive the fateful twilight. Afterwards, she did not want to eat, bathe or leave her chambers, and could not bear to look at her son Maelor, knowing that she had chosen him to die. The king had no recourse other than to take the boy from her and give him to the their mother, the Dowager Queen Alicent, to be raised as her own. Aegon and his wife began to sleep separately, and Queen Helaena sank deeper and deeper into madness, while the king raged, drank and raged." So I hate all the green people because they are all bad, the only person in the family who is good is Helaena, the rest are all rotten, poor people, he lost his son so she goes after his mother to ask for help and she ends up taking the mother having sex with her lover, what a horrible thing, I feel very sorry for Helena, she does suffer in this green family, but Aegon, Aemond, Alicent do not suffer, they are suffering, they are suffering and because the series wants to portray them as poor things, Helaena does not have love from no one in her family, they all mistreat her, Because Helena doesn't like Alicent or her brothers, you can tell by just watching all her scenes with her family, she never lets Alicent touch her.
14:08 Them referring to Syrax as a “he” made me realise that despite the majority of dragons in this show so far being female, people assume them male until told otherwise and even then they forget lol. Not a big deal, just interesting.

Thank you!! People just seem to ‘conveniently’ miss this or just choose to ignore it. It was very obvious to me too and im tired of being called delusional for pointing it out! 😭
Yeah, and there’s no other “son” apart from Jahaerys.
Not a defenseless baby.
fun stark fact:
jace spent more time in the north than it seems. he and cregan grew very close friends, cregan felt jace’s pain cause he lost a lil bro too. they hunted together and made a pact that jace’s heir would marry cregan’s child for his support in war.

hearing the stark theme in the beginning was so nostalgic, phia saban's (helaena) acting was so good in that scene, the way she basically dissociates after pointing to jaehaerys was so well acted.. the new opening credits starts from the doom of old valyria to aegon the conqueror until we get to rhaenyra and aegon.
Killing Jae was clearly daemon’s plan b after they asked him about what they should do if they didn’t find aemond
I think daemon knew they wouldn’t find Aemond and really just planned for Aegon son
Right? why do all reactors complain ''this was not the mission''? It's obvious there was a plan B, aka Jae.
9:20 You guys saw that after saying that she is afraid of the rats she looked directly at the cradle of little Jaehaerys, she had a prophetic dream about the death of her own son. And before Aegon entered the room, Helaena said, "They just want the boy".
It's also been said the thing she was embroidering was for his funeral bec she had dreamt about his death
And once again, Criston Cole was supposed to be at Helaena's doorstep guarding, instead he was in bed with Alicent.
Oh SNAP. He is the kings guard and the king was in the hall so he should have been protecting the queen. I was wondering why it was so empty upstairs. I hope he gets punished. I don’t like him. At all!
Yup but he prob wont take any accountability for his own actions

not so fun fact:
The end scene was much more brutal in the books.
- yes i stole this sorry lol
there's absolutely nothing in the books that says jaehaerys was the main target
I believe it was Cheese who said that to Maelor and Blood chopped Jaehaery's head off.

Just learned that Arrax, riden by Lucerys, was one of the three eggs from Syrax, Rhaenyra's dragon. Which means that Rhaenyra and her dragon both lost a son. And in that scene on the beach, they are both mourning the loss which makes that even more heartbreaking watching this back.

aegon treating the throne like a garage hangout session with his boys was sooooo good. i was curious how the show would handle his reign and i really, really like how they’ve characterized him here - ultimately surprisingly (not a joffrey - at least not when it comes to the smallfolk) well meaning but (no pun intended) very green.
“It’s become a no win scenario for everyone now” Welcome to the main theme of the story/show. 🎉
@@patmcconnell9956this isn’t an example of that happening tho. It’s not manipulative to explain to him how taxes work 💀
@@Sageddegas 😭 JFC No but again yall, my point isn’t that Otto’s necessarily wrong for what he’s advising Aegon on or that pointing out objective facts of the matter is him being “manipulative.” It’s that Aegon is easily sway-able by a significant and convincing authority figure in his life that is his grandfather.
Syrax was mourning with Rhaenyra when she found the dragon wing on the beach because Syrax is the mother of Rhaenyra’s children’s dragons.
Emma D’Arcy was amazing in this episode and they only spoke one line of dialogue: “I want Aemond Targaryen!” 👏
Rhaenys couldn’t have killed Aegon - there’s extreme taboo against “kinslaying” on top of it not being her call. What Aemond did marks him forever - Aemond the Kinslayer is maybe worse in Westeros epithets than Jaime the Kingslayer.
It’s funny cuz people thought Aegon would be like Joffrey but he’s actually pretty chill

Daemon is a complicated character. He would be fine with ordering the death of a child, but the scene was shot in such a way as it was left ambiguous if he did order them to kill any son. Why was it ambiguous? Because it will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.

"Understanding that thing about being an outsider. Those who have been mistreated, those who haven't gotten the position they were raised in or deserve, I feel like there's a deep understanding that Rhaenyra resonates with a lot."
As Rhaenyra was absent for days, it was probably the daemon who received Alicent's letters. I imagine he burned all of Alicent's letters. (I would do the same thing)
I'm sure he did this the first moment he read it
"Friend, how are you? How are you?🥰
I'm sorry for your son😰🤧 You know how it is, accidents happen🤷♀️ but move forward and lift your head so the crown (a princess's, not a Queen's) doesn't fall off, right lol I miss you already." (bro when Alicent speaks The fact that I sent the letters made me angry because, bro, it's only the scriptwriters who can do this shit, I hope Daemon burned all the fake letters.
(The funny thing is that Dameon was mad at everyone and blamed everyone, but when Rhaenyra arrived he was calm with her presence)
They [Daemon and Rhaenyra] have a connection that no one else on the show shares, they are almost the same person, in different bodies. Sarah Hess.
Matt Smith: “[Blood&Cheese] It's love, grief and vengeance. Daemon feels it's impossible not to exact that feeling of revenge when it's in him... [Jaehaerys' death] isn't his mistake ultimately, but he does put it in motion.”
21:49 Jace's scene with Rhaenyra was very beautiful.

"An eye for an eye, a son for a son," wrote Prince Daemon."Lucerys will be avenged."
Thus begins one of the bloodiest chapters of Dance.
He sought out this pale stranger then, by secret means, to enact terrible revenge."
Her intermediary, as it turns out later, was (Mysaria) and she is the one who recruits Blood and Cheese, in King's Landing.
We will not harm
rest of you, not by a hair's breadth. What does Your Grace want?
lose?
When she understood what he meant, Queen Helaena pleaded
for men to kill her in the place of one of her children.
-A wife is not a son, said Blood. -It has to be one
boy.
Cheese warned the queen to choose quickly, before Blood was left
I'm tired of the little girl.
He too
gave a description of the prostitute he claimed had hired them: an older woman, foreign in her accent, with a cape and hood, very pale.
(Ser Otto Hightower took a hundred cats to the Red Keep to take their place.)
Although Blood and Cheese spared her life, Queen Helaena didn't exactly survive the fateful twilight. Aegon and his wife began to sleep separately, and Queen Helaena sank deeper and deeper into madness, while the king raged, drank and raged."
So I hate all the green people because they are all bad, the only person in the family who is good is Helaena, the rest are all rotten, poor people, he lost his son so she goes after his mother to ask for help and she ends up taking the mother having sex with her lover, what a horrible thing, I feel very sorry for Helena, she does suffer in this green family, but Aegon, Aemond, Alicent do not suffer, they are suffering, they are suffering and because the series wants to portray them as poor things, Helaena does not have love from no one in her family, they all mistreat her, Because Helena doesn't like Alicent or her brothers, you can tell by just watching all her scenes with her family, she never lets Alicent touch her.
14:08 Them referring to Syrax as a “he” made me realise that despite the majority of dragons in this show so far being female, people assume them male until told otherwise and even then they forget lol. Not a big deal, just interesting.
Knew I should have made a cheese platter with a glass of red wine for this episode
should we call Criston the Queen Slayer since he is the only person to have both queens?
I've missed you guys! ❤
Hey guys!!! Glad to be back with you guys
Syrax I think was upset cause I think Arrax was also her son.🥺
I watch here and on Patreon I love you guys so much 🖤
Glad to be back watching Bridge-reactions.
It was understood that Daemon told the ratcatcher that, if by chance, he didn't find Aemond, he should bring the head of Aegon's heir. What is originally asked for in the book. Daemon is very clear in the book when he says "Lucerys will be avenged. A son for a son." and the blood and cheese episode happens. Kisses from Brazil ❤❤❤
HOUSE OF DRAGON. Intense tragedy, the fire of anger is only the beginning. Can’t wait for episode 2. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🐲
"Mr. Cole?!" lmao
It was the mission!! Exactly from the books
Great reaction and I love the moon and Star Tarot cards in the background ❤
When Helena momentarily stops in the hallway and goes in another direction towards her mother's room, I wonder who she encountered.
Blood 🩸 is a GOLD CLOAK one of Damion 's personally trained troops .
so glad its back
See, now I imagine Daemon is thinking "you want something done right, gotta do it yourself".
LOVE U GUYS 🔥
Let’s goooo!!! 🔥🔥
I think Daemon told them to kill Jaeherys if they couldn't find Aemond. That's why he had that creepy smile and then they cut away when Cheese asked him about it. I guess we'll have to wait til next week to figure that out.
