As a woman who just turned 58, I wanted you to know that I have learned so much from you. I am late to the skincare game but already see a huge difference in my skin because of what Ive learned from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge & experience. 🥰
I am going to be 80 this next summer and I have looked after my skin religiously since I was in my twenties. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. What a great video. I do believe the add on to these rules is undoubtedly sunscreen. My skin thanks you.😍
Yes, it’s important to include your neck to the same skin care as you face but also include your hands to the same care. Hands age very quickly! Love these videos………

Despite a lifetime(I’m 58, pale & a redhead) of trying to avoid the sun & using sunscreen I still got basal cell melanoma twice on my face. Had Mohs surgery on my forehead (2019) and upper lip to my chin (24 stitches & deep scarring) this spring. I purchased the trifecta recently and after one month have noticed a major improvement… my scar doesn’t seem quite as noticeable and the rest of my face feels/looks 10 years younger. My doctor is going to laser the scars this winter. Thank you for the great info, I’m enjoying learning more about how to improve my situation.
Glad you’re on the mend and learning from Dr K as I am. We can’t go backward but can learn moving forward. His advice and informational videos are Valuable and realistic inmo. I’m a late bloomer with skin care so I’m playing catch-up. Before all, Sunscreen! ❤
I’m so glad Dr Amir’s product is working well for you. I have a dear friend who had melanoma on her back. She’s from England and also very fair w red hair. I recently had kidney removed due to sarcoma and lost all my hair. Good luck w your laser treatment. Wishing you the best and God Bless ❤️
Not only is Doctor Karam one of the nations top notch surgeons and a talented artist, he is an excellent teacher as well Believe me, he knows what he is talking about! I followed this skin regime and I began seeing positive results within a month! That's just with the affordable brands 😊. More youthful skin is easily accomplished! Thank you Dr. Karam!
One month? Let me guess, it was the hyaluronic acid. It takes a lot longer than one month for collagen to develop, unless maybe you do an extreme combination of something like IPL and photodynamic therapy in the same day, and that is an *extreme* in-office procedure that is not for the faint of heart. You have to sit in total darkness in a room for a few days (even the blue light from your cell phone or television will re-activate the levulan and start the burning all over again), and then that is followed by an additional 10 days of the most awful peeling that is so bad that when a Scientologist came to my front door, they dropped their jaw and told me they hoped I would end up being okay. lol Now, my results were gorgeous, but the pain...the discomfort to the point of being on the cusp of going to the ER for help...having to sit in pure darkness for close to 72 hours (because each time I opened my laptop in a pitch dark room with noi windows, the blue light from the laptop re-activated the Levulan in my skin again which caused more burning), and a purge of white heads in my skin that made using Retin as a teenager seem pleasant and easy by comparison, and all that only resulted in collagen production in a month...but 4-6 months was the sweet spot for the collagen production with that combination of therapies on the same day. No way in heck do I believe you had collagen production in a month without something more than just basic skin care...unless it was the "instant gratification" of hyaluronic acid he mentions in this video.
I ingest 1000mgs Vit C daily and have done so since my 20's. If I feel a cold coming on, which is extremely rarely, I'll take up to 1,000mgs every waking hour. I'll be 71 in November and my skin looks 20years younger. 👋😁👌I haven't been perfect with all the rest, but have protected my face from the sun! Now I do the whole TOOT as Doc suggests.
I have to mention that your skin looks stunning Dr. Karam! Thanks for your professionality and effort you put in your videos. Greetings from Czech Republic😊
There is absolutely nothing in this world that can prevent your skin from again. You can slow down aging, you can mitigate some wrinkles etc. but you cannot stop aging.
That's true, and we all have to deal realistically with all effects of aging on our bodies. But skin care can absolutely make a difference. I'm 67 and recently had a woman who works in a nail salon kind of staring at me as I got a pedicure. Finally she came over and told me how great my skin looks! Thank you, sunscreen. I really would like to get a reasonable routine started with the various retinols etc, I haven't really done that yet because it's still pretty confusing to me.
He never said that there was a way to stop aging. He was just trying to give information on how to take care of the skin to keep it healthy and the best it can be. I see people that care more about how the outside of the car looks instead of their own skin. Some people’s skin looks 20 years older because they don’t take care of it. All dried out and haggard from sun exposure, smoking, etc..or just not using any products to help it not look gross. 😖
@@legalavocado3447that’s a great feeling! Congratulations! I’m 59 and my skin looks better now then when I was in my 40’s. Mainly in part to using Tretinoin and a good moisturizer. Hey Doctor, I’m 26 and I started my skincare routine at 23 after doing hard research on what products work and what doesn’t for my skin. Niacinamide breaks me out. My skin doesn’t like it. But I do use prescribe Rentinol and humectant moisturiser w/o fragrances. I also drink collagen created by Skincare by Dr. V (she focuses on skin of color). So far my skin looks great. I also will add that I drink lots of Lime Water since lemon and limes are packed with antioxidants. Thank you for making this video!!!

I use trifecta twice daily. Does it contain the skin lightener or is that something that should be added? Thank you for all the information presented in an easy to understand way. You are a great teacher!
I watch your videos very informative plan on getting plastic surgery next year. I will be 64. But i try to stay out of the sun for the last 20 years but i use to be lay out in the sun 20 years + ago but im very thankful i stopped.
I just turned 76, and I take care of my skin every day. I find that a scrub every day keeps my skin tight, and I use a Vitamin C Serum to fade my age spots. Because I am allergic to fragrances and chemicals, I have used and still used Clinique and it still works well. Thanks Dr. Karam for all of your videos.
Dear Dr. Karam, thank you for teaching us. How about zinc and cooper. This two element are even very important in the mechanism of building collagen. Further, I absolutely understand the importance about sun care, especially with zincoxid and titandioxid. I have read that these two elements not only remain on the skin, but also enter the body through the skin and can also be deposited in the brain. This makes me wonder if I want to use the protection for my skin more often during the day. Furthermore, there is scientific evidence that red light (IRA, here referring to 780-1400 nm) increases the production of MMP1, which inhibits the production of collagen. This would mean that all the red light sources currently on the market that advertise collagen formation actually inhibit collagen. Could you also provide information on this? Thank you and best regards from Cologne
Love this Dr. Dude. Fixed income yet I afford it because I sold all my old products. Im pathetic but it makes me look at least 5 years younger. Which would be ...65.... ✌️
Hi i am 62 years old and just started to plan with my Anti-Aging Skincare can you please give me an idea which one i have to use during day time and evening? For now i just using sunblock and Vitamin C after cleanse my face Day & Night 🤔
I enjoy very much your comments about skin care. I have your trifecta and i really enjoy it. It didn’t take the few wrinkles I have but I have to be patient. I am using it only a month. I intend to do it and use it all the time
I'm 40. I use Tretinoin at night, and a Vitamin C serum in the morning with a sunscreen containing niacinimide. I also take Niacinimide orally because I've had skin cancer, and I take oral vitamin C with lysine and proline. My moisturizer contains hyaluronic acid, and I do gentle exfoliating acids 1-2 times a week. Anything I'm missing? I'm thinking sagging will be my issue though, because my skin is hypermobile.
When applied topically, growth factors help to improve the appearance of aging skin by reversing some of the reduced cell growth and collagen production. Check out my blog post for more information on growth factors here: karammdskin.com/blogs/expert-advice/understanding-growth-factors-what-they-are-and-how-they-work-in-skincare#:~:text=When%20applied%20topically%2C%20growth%20factors,growth%20at%20the%20cellular%20level.
51 here , and I never have that skin, I did menopause when I was 33! My skin was terrible! Now almost 2years on trifecta karammd, I’m always glowing 🧙♀️🧙♀️🧙♀️
Dr. K, would you kindly talk about your recommended concentration % of each chemical? Not many brands designate the concentration % of each active ingredients, but I do consider the top 5 listed ingredients as the highest potency. The rest are minimal ingredients, hardly worth the investment, or just preservatives. Im also finding companies combine ingredients that SHOULDN'T be combined. It happens far too many times than it should. "Buyer Beware" signs should be posted at the cosmetic counter. I've learned to select products that have the 'least' amount of chemical content. My thinking, which may or may not be valid, is that more of the active ingredient will be included. In reality, It's probably mostly water and glycerine.
Are you referring to retinol and vitamin C for example? When formulated together they work brilliantly together. And you CAN use it together but there is a higher risk of irritation so if you have sensitive skin, it’s recommended to split them up. But even people who have sensitive skin can certainly use products like that which are specifically formulated together if their skin can handle it. This is the same for any other ingredient. Especially ones that some people claim shouldn’t be used together. Cosmetic chemists work extremely hard at formulating good products- and it wouldn’t make it all the way through all the trials and testing if it couldn’t be used together. I highly suggest looking into these things rather than listening to a few videos from just anyone online. It will definitely help clear things up.
@@christineribone9351 well thank you? I’ll take that as a compliment because all of that I learned on my own.. but I follow him because he’s very talented and knows what he’s talking about and doing. Hi Doctor What can I use as “ growth factor “ ? As you do not have a distributor in the EU , I can t get the “ Trifecta”.. So ABC protocole and peptides is clear but as “growth factors “, I wonder ! Thank you anyway! Great tips !
As someone also living in Europe, I could advise you to look at Yesstyle and Stylevana. Those are two retailers selling Korean and Japanese skincare products who are shipping to most European countries. If you type "growth factors" you will get products containing the ingredient. Personally I use the HaruHaruWonder 2GF serum. It contains both endothelial and fibroblasts growth factors and the price of the product is quite reasonable. I hope this info helps.
Thank you for you informative videos. I don’t want to use retinol nor similar products. Would a good quality multivitamin with vitamin A be equally effective?
Such a great comprehensive video that explains everything you ever need to know about haow to care for your skin. thank you Dr. karam. In my opion you are the very best.
Thank you Dr K. Another informative video. Would you give an example of a an oil product? I double cleanse with an oil 1st, but that doesn’t seem to be what you’re referring to. Thanks for all you do for our skin! Tia
Omg, what order do you use the vitamin ABC 62 years old. New to this skin care routine. I need help with my wrinkles on my face. Thanks for any advice 😊
Thank you for this video! I've developed seborrheic dermatitis and my skin cannot tolerate anything beyond a basic moisturiser (with salicylic acid). When I try to use retinal, which is supposed to be gentle, my skin goes completely nuts. What do you recommend?
If you have seborrheic dermatitis, use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and a basic moisturizer for sensitive skin, handle your skin gently, avoiding rough products and excessive scrubbing. Consult a dermatologist for personalized guidance and prescribed treatments.
Can you do an age based skincare video? As in , at what age should we be adding all 3 vitamins? At what age do I add peptides, at what age is laser/ micro needling recommended etc.
I’ve done light peels under my eyes and now they look very thin and wrinkled. In your other video you said these help. Do you recommend any particular peel or etc for under eyes?

Great video. I read somewhere not to mix niamacide with vit C. Should these vitamins ABC and peptides and hialuronic acid be used all in one go or are some combinations more optimal? Thank you
I am a newer follower of your channel. I am 68 and have noticed in the last 2 or 3 years that the skin on my arms and legs has become so fragile. If I go hiking chances are good I’ll get some tears and bleeding. Are the routines and products you endorse applicable to the body as well as the face? Also, I have some retina issues and have read too much Vit A can be detrimental to my retinas. Thanks for your channel.
Same with my arms and legs. You can use the same products you use on your face and neck but that can get super costly. I’ve a retinol body cream that seems to help a bit. I alternate with a glycolic acid body lotion, Glytone which has gotten very popular and thus doubled in price lately. Not enough attention is paid to aging body skin by beauty brands
Amazing video. Ive been using Tretinoin 0.1% for a couple of years now, along with Vitamin C, HA, peptides and a quality moisturizer. Sunscreen every day. Im nearing 45 and my skin looks really good.
Hi Dr K - your videos are interesting and informative - I am 64 years old and have only been bothered by aging effects in last 2 years - do you recommend trifecta?
Thank you Dr AmirKaram for your useful advice. May I know the steps to apply all these ingredients on the face? I only know applying vitamin c for morning while retinol for evening. How about peptides and vitamin b? Thanks
Certainly! In the morning, cleanse, apply vitamin C and peptide serums, moisturize, and use sunscreen. In the evening, cleanse, apply retinol and vitamin B serum, and moisturize. Adjust products based on skin reactions and seek professional advice if necessary. My 3 step anti-aging system comprehensively includes expertly proportioned concentrations of these anti-aging ingredients so you don't need to worry about so many steps. Little question. You often say decreases pigmentation. I understand that it means that it evens out skin tone. But, does it mean that neither will your skin tan or will it tan less if exposed to sun??

I want to safely and effectively treat sunspots on my arms and legs as well as treat everything in between with the best that’s available!! Do you offer a whole body care line of products? 🤗 PS ~ What are your thoughts on taking collagen supplements? 🤔

My pleasure! Thanks for sharing.
I'm 62 years old, thanks so much for this!
Thanks for all the info 😊
What about exfoliating acids at home?
Funny post but love it!
Dr. Karam, your tipps are priceless.❤
You are a pleasure to listen to and follow because of your knowledge and delivery.
Thank you for all that you do Dr. K.
Thank you, you are always teach us, you care
Hi i am 62 years old and just started to plan with my Anti-Aging Skincare can you please give me an idea which one i have to use during day time and evening?
For now i just using sunblock and Vitamin C after cleanse my face Day & Night 🤔
The estrogen dropping causing loss of collagen does not affect men right? As estrogen needs to be minimised as a male.
Males has testosterone receptors as women have estrogen receptors. Men suffer from dropping testosterone with age too.
What are the growth factors? What type products would contain growth factors? Thanks
I was thinking the same thing
Microneedling with PRF. The serums are a scam.
As usual very educational and i imagine im a doctor for half hour after thinking about it all
Are the products that you can recommend. I know that you mentioned yours but I mean other brands? What are examples of growth factors?
Excelente vídeo I share with my friends thank you for you value time doctor
@@PiXie232 You're just repeating back what Dr. Amir teaches.
@@christineribone9351 well thank you? I’ll take that as a compliment because all of that I learned on my own.. but I follow him because he’s very talented and knows what he’s talking about and doing. Is that really all you took away from what I said? Personally I think you’re just complaining to complain. I tried to help by clarifying things for you, and *that* was your response? Bless your heart
@@christineribone9351 and the fact that you’re clearly into the “clean beauty” movement by trying to keep everything “natural” and the least amount of ingredients etc.. just proves to me how uneducated you are about a lot of things.. not just this.
Such clear and generous content! Thank you, Dr!
Thanks for watching!
Hi Doctor
What can I use as “ growth factor “ ?
@@TheTrigeminusthank you
I also agree heartedly thanks for guiding us briefly
Thanks 👍
They way i get confused with these products. Today for the 1st i get to know that "vitamin B is a naicinamide) wow, thanks Dr.
Same!
Does taking collagen powder help ?
Thank you for you informative videos. I don’t want to use retinol nor similar products. Would a good quality multivitamin with vitamin A be equally effective?
Such a great comprehensive video that explains everything you ever need to know about haow to care for your skin. thank you Dr. karam. In my opion you are the very best.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your support
,i wonder if Ai will come up with some new powerful treatments for skin
Great video. I learn a lot from you.
Thank you Dr K. Another informative video. Would you give an example of a an oil product? I double cleanse with an oil 1st, but that doesn’t seem to be what you’re referring to. Thanks for all you do for our skin! Tia
Plz suggest products if this which r affordable n good
Omg, what order do you use the vitamin ABC 62 years old.
I love the science behind skincare. I love how you explain it ❤❤❤❤
Can you do an age based skincare video? As in , at what age should we be adding all 3 vitamins? At what age do I add peptides, at what age is laser/ micro needling recommended etc.
I’ve done light peels under my eyes and now they look very thin and wrinkled. In your other video you said these help. Do you recommend any particular peel or etc for under eyes?
What are “growth factors”? I use everything else, but I’m not sure what you mean by a growth factor!
Growth factors help to improve the appearance of aging skin by reversing some of the reduced cell growth and collagen production.

I always watch you Dr. Karam but I have a question about LED mask is that help for skin aging?
So much valuable info thanks dr
Please address what to do for rolling acne scars. Deep laser seems to be the only option. RF microneedling did nothing.
Love your simple to understand explanation and the captions! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, do you sell your products in Canada? If so where? Thank you so much for this video!
Amazing video. Ive been using Tretinoin 0.1% for a couple of years now, along with Vitamin C, HA, peptides and a quality moisturizer. Sunscreen every day. Im nearing 45 and my skin looks really good.
Absolute Gold info!
BRAVO, thank you for the concise information.
Thanks for watching!
I am a year long swimmer in a hot country. If i swim till 10am with sunscreen and a hat, is it ok? I never stay after 10am.
Hi Dr K - your videos are interesting and informative - I am 64 years old and have only been bothered by aging effects in last 2 years - do you recommend trifecta?
Absolutely!

Great content. I appreciate your skin school videos.🌴🌈
Thank you for watching!
Great video with amazing information! Thank you so much!
Thanks for supporting
Thanks for sharing, very good information
Thank you so much for sharing, but what about "shape"? Is there nothing we can do to maintain shape?
Great info! Thank you!!
Thank you for the good information. I do everything except grow Factice. What product should I use? Thank you.😊
Truly enjoyed this educational video!
So glad!
Little question. You often say decreases pigmentation. I understand that it means that it evens out skin tone. But, does it mean that neither will your skin tan or will it tan less if exposed to sun??
Thank you very much for the info
You're very welcome!
Thank you Dr! Do i use them all at the same time ?
I love your videos! I’ve commented before - I definitely want to purchase your skincare!! Curious to know the products you suggest for body care?? I want to safely and effectively treat sunspots on my arms and legs as well as treat everything in between with the best that’s available!! Do you offer a whole body care line of products? 🤗
PS ~ What are your thoughts on taking collagen supplements? 🤔
Love your videos! What retinol are all you folks using? Face cream, serum?
Hey Doctor, Thank you so much for detailed explanation. i had microneedling sessions done 9 months ago, doctor gave 3 sittings of microneedling, resurfacing and rejenuvation with meso after every 15 days and i was asked to use elosolne HT and few more products , and i got serious rashes on face and it took 2 months to go and then after 6 months pigmentation came back thats why i came back to doctor and My doctor has given me hydrafacial and then high freqeuncy treatment for my active acne +pigmetation and then asked to apply Triluma+ few more products twice daily. i believe triluma is not very safe, how do i switch from triluma to tretinoin safetly without getting pigmentation back? Also i am very regular with my skinscare
Need to know the order of use and either morning or night application.
Thanks Doc, I learnt a lottt! Well informed, thank you❤
Glad it was helpful!
