Hey Jacob! Forgot to comment again back when the vid came out! I apologize 🤦♂️. I enjoyed that video I recall! All kinds of fun an great work that day! Take good care buddy! Andrew from NB :)
Good video bud! Lots going on. Beautiful rolling hills. Ugly hornets nest. Nice lookin’ shirt! Thanks for the support and shout out! Enjoy the cool down!
Great video Jacob! That sure is some pretty country! That ol’ dog really wanted your glasses 😂😂 Nice load of hickory scored there at the end Take care, Brandon
Awesome video. Now you’re gonna have to buy that dog a pair of shades. I have used the bags under some barns and they seem to work pretty well on carpenter bees. Take care and be safe.
New sub here , came over from Ricks Outdoors . Mike at KNL is a great guy . I enjoyed the video . Beautiful land y’all have and hope you get a nice buck this season !! 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🚜
Mike host a gathering called Hoosier Firewood Hysteria . It was a blast last year . There are and will be some great folks there this coming next one in April .
The event is for the Howard County Vietnam memorial campground . All the wood is donated . Last year in 12 hours we bucked up and split 25 cords of wood . Everyone brings their saws and splitters . It’s a chance to run different saws and try different splitters . It is for a really good cause and a lot of fellowship . Hardworking man , myself , Chris in the woodyard , Tony’s cool tools all have videos up from last year . I drove from Spartanburg SC and can not wait to do it again in April !!!!!
A quick time saver for you. You don't need to noodle the whole round. Usually if you cut 1/2 way through it, 1 whack with your maul and it's split. Save gas and time. Love the videos keep it up!
Really enjoyed the video Jacob. That dog needs a go fund me to get his own glasses😎🤣 Nice load of logs and some beautiful country as well! Take care brother 👊🏻
Enjoyed your video and that was a lot of work and a lot of wood. Just a hint on getting rid of a hornet’s nest. Wait till it gets dark when all the hornet’s are in the nest and get a can of hornet spray and spray up in the hole and when they start falling out they will plug up the hole then saturate the whole nest. And you will need a flashlight 🔦 😂 to see what your doing. I learned this trick from my dad. My husband and I got a great laugh about the dog and your sunglasses. You need to get you a Rosie 🐾. See you in the next video. Donetta
Thank you Mrs Donetta! Appreciate the tip on the hornets! If we couldn’t get a cab tractor back there then I guess I would’ve tried that. I sure didn’t like the idea of standing on a ladder spraying them hornets in the dark about a mile from the nearest road. 😂😂. Just glad it worked out. Yesmam, the dog sure was energetic 🤣. Thank y’all so much for your support!!
Your dad and I have the same taste in tractors. I’ve operated WC, WD, WD-45, D12, D-15, D-17, and a D-19 (may have missed one or two). In fact, I call my one Kubota (due to its color) an “Oriental Allis-Chalmers” lol. That is God’s Country for a fact. By the way, I have a 6x12 (I agree it’s too short for most compact tractors), but fortunately, I have a 10 gauge floor in it. I wish you & yourn’ the best.
Wow. You definitely have some experience with the AC tractors!! Daddy has all of those tractors you mentioned except the D-12 I believe. I drove a D-14 on a 37 mile tractor ride in perryville MO several years ago. I love the “Oriental Allis chalmer” I’m gonna have to tell daddy about that. His brothers (my uncles) will like that too!! They have a few AC tractors. I always appreciate your input!! Yessir, 6x12 is just a little too small. I’d be happier with it if I had 10 gauge floor. Thanks again and wish y’all the best too!!
@@TwinCityFirewoodI forgot the 175 diesel and the 180 gas lol. I wish I’d of known you were in Perryville - that’s about a half hour away from me. If you ever return to this vicinity, let me know and I’ll come and meet you. Take care and my best to your folks. By the way, I didn’t include any Deautz-Allis as they were a funky color - but I use to have a little synchro-shift 31 hp that I really liked. Have a good one.
So glad you like it!! I don’t mind working with big logs when I have the right tools for it. I glad you appreciate the Bible verses. Many thanks for your time & comment! Have a goodin!!
You were very wise to take that hornet nest down with a tractor. Every where you go alway keep a sharpener with you. You never know when you might need it. See you on the next video. Stay safe.
Yeah, don’t blame you! It has warmed back up here now. Back in the high 80’s not counting the real feel. Thanks a bunch for taking time to comment and watch!!
I really enjoyed this video. That nest was huge. Great work getting that down. Beautiful country you get to hunt on. I'd like to see videos of you all hunting. That white oak was massive. I was saying to myself how is he going to lift those rounds. You got it done Keep up the hard work Jerry
Glad you enjoyed it!! Them hornets don’t play!! Yessir, I may include some short hunting videos. I have a digital scope that actually records what the scope sees. It’s neat. The kids shoot well with it. Thanks so much for your time commenting & watching!! And congrats on 2k subs!!
Many thanks Genin!! I love that saw. I would like to come and love to meet a lot of y’all! I it’s like almost 9 hrs away from me. And youth deer season I’m afraid is the same wkend, so it’s unlikely I make it. I’d like to someday though!!
They make a fake nest that has scent ( looks like a air freshener tag, smells like a garbage can) that keeps the paper hornets away... some. Although I don't know if it is the end all be all because my dad has 2 active nest in the same tree... so I don't know if they care about neighbors
I was afraid that might bother some folks. I set the camera up on a stand when I can but I had so much going on that day that it was gonna be hard to do. Appreciate you watching
Beautiful loads of wood there and gorgeous country for sure! Love the scripture verses during your videos! - Tim
Many thanks!! I’m geographically blessed 😂. So glad you like them!! And I appreciate the compliments!

Thanks for the shout out. Wife laughed at that dog steeling your glasses. Was funny. Good video. I have a old Allis Chalmers C. Was my Dads.
Thank y’all!! Yeah, I was getting a kick out of him! 😂. The C model is a nice size little tractor.
Appreciate y’all as always!!
That’s awesome you still have your daddy’s tractor!
