One other reason you might be having issues with the loop is that the truck doesn't always hold grain as both trucks can be converted to flatbeds. Try with a dedicated grain trailer

I'm blown away by how much it has improved since FS22. I feel like in a lot of cases people are comparing it to Course Play which you cannot expect it to be. Everyone was much more chill and considerate of the devs and modders.

The ai worker tool has been a disaster for me so far. Prefer the old system where they could just go back and forth. Needs serious work. They will eventually get the whole field but will waste so much time doing the work in nonsensical ways
I would like to see the AI workers for the harvesting part be able to go from outside to the inside. That way, the pipe is always over harvested ground when you pull a tractor up to it to empty it.
Thank you for this tutorial. I have been doing all of these things (except for the obvious AI things) manually. This was an awesome and simple explanation of how to assign and get the AI to do the transport jobs. I have kinda played around with trying to get FS 25 to use multiple combines like I did in FS 22, but they AI tries to follow the exact same pathing no matter where you start on the field, so they collide very very quickly (like just after the first pass). Maybe with the 'skip a row' it may work. Haven't tested that yet.
I have found that if you let the first harvester do the header and when it starts going back and forth usually you can start another harvester on the opposite side and it will work fine especially with a sugar beet harvester. Just make sure you stop one when they get close to finishing.
I just happened upon this video tonight. Had to comment that the AI actually works better than the examples that failed here. Especially the load and deliver from that silo. I consistently load canola from that silo using AI and deliver to the Oil Plant down in the South East corner of the map. It delivers just fine and returns to repeat the process until the silo is empty. The silo only difference is that I use a tractor and wagon rather than either of those trucks. I also use the AI to do contracts for cultivating, plowing, mowing, weeding and fertilizing using the Create Job function. I have done over 100 successful contracts with the AI.
Noticed this yesterday on my multi-player "no bank" save. Tried to get in some contracts including a 10k one for weeding. I drove it out myself and set the AI to finish the canola harvest but I was griping all the way
I noticed in Hutan Pantai that the map Image is offset from the actual coordinates so when you were sending your helper to what it looks like a road, you might actually be sending it to a building so it said it was "unreachable". Once I drove there and saw where the location actually was (it was a bit offset to the west) then it worked every time. this was specifically for the sawmill that receives the wood transport contracts.
I was trying to harvet parsnips once with the AI driving and me in the tractor with trailer along side it. That was a lesson in frustration trying to keep up with the AI and get everything.
After watching this video I am thinking the AI is far from complete. This is a very sad display of three years of game development. I don't understand why they can't get the same work done in development as the folks at Courseplay. They have way more money for development than people working at code part time in their basement. At this point in time with mods FS22 is light years ahead of this. I don't understand the excitement to take a step backward and get less with a 16 bit looking menu system. It makes me wonder if they know full grown adults play this game? Starting to regret my pre purchase
The developers of courseplay aren't making any money. None of us modders make money. We would make more money in a single week doing chores for the elderly than a full year of 80 hour weeks modding... Just food for thought.

cracked me up seeing the AI immediately not want to drive to the destination field. Already ptsd from FS22. By far one of the biggest frustrations. Guess this proves I'll still have to have a heavy hand in helping them get from one place to the next. sad face. It is nice to see that a lot of the stuff from Course play is just in the actual base game now. The looping AI even more hilarious.
Giant did a pretty good job implementing AI workers/ field work along w/gps. However, I really wish they also implemented AI workers being able to pace combines. How we were able to on fs22 w/courseplay.

I wish you could make the AI act like fs22 sometimes where they just go up and down. Yes it had its frustrating moments, but I was trying to do carrots and the AI wouldn’t move unless I had the tipper under the pipe, but he wouldn’t doing long straight lines and just kept turning into me for no reason. I ended up wasting two hours and scrapping the field.
you need the modded harvester I had the same problem wasted hours and in the end gave up why in gods name would you have the unloader on the inside of the field going clockwise it needs to go in a anti clockwise direction may just have a chance then not prefect but would still help
My best take to use 2 of harvester, planter, or whatever is: Start each on the other side. then they normally shouldn't get into the way. i do this mostly on rice though.
i have found hire the Ai Some fields that are a little extra complex. more on the ones with thin triangle corners. they miss small sections. getting the setup you see the lines like they are gonna hit it. but they seem to miss it. its something you have to work with from field to field
I have a save on FS22 that is in it 48th year and I have almost £400million. I wish we could take the sort of progress over to FS25 one day someone will come out with that we need a way to export progress. I also have a save on FS19 that is in its 73rd year I still play it lol
Is there a way to have a trailer truck follow your harvester while it harvests to collect? there's a couple harvesters like carrot harvesters that need to have a side-along hauler to collect WHILE it's harvesting, it doesn't have an internal buffer collector. I had to have my AI run the harvester and just follow along myself with my truck to harvest it all, and geez it's difficult to predict how the harvester wants to turn around and all that. It's also got a very sharp turning radius compared to the trailer, so i can't keep up with it. Also it sometimes keeps harvesting while its making its turns, so keeping my truck on it is impossible and I can't just leave it to make its turns on its own because it stops as soon as it has crops that it needs to conveyor to the truck.
I have the same issue exactly right now! Its terrible i quit the job, and lost 5k.. of it doesnt has a buffer i will not be using that machine.. its impossible to co drive with your ai in such a harvester.
Yes so far my experience with the AI is that they are pretty good in the fields but still brain dead on the roads going places. A bit better than FS22 but not much. I’m not optimistic it will get better because Giants didn’t seem to either be able to fix them in FS22 or tried to.
Honestly and you dont have to believe me, but in testing i had to make a crazy field to mess them up. Like a field you would never want anyways to throw them off. They even do fields with custom islands in the middle of fields and crazy shapes
doubt the go to/deliver function is gonna be useable.. seems exactly like 22, maybe a little bit better. anyway, im very happy about the AI on the fields in 25 :D
Well the fact that they never showed it off, expresses a lack of confidence in the feature. As this was a HUGE complaint from players. (Just in general driving from point A-B was useless, let alone having it perform a task if it ever arrived at B)
You might be having trouble with just the fact that it doesn't have the day one updates and patches at least I'm assuming it doesn't. I've been playing Farming Simulator 23 here and their on mobile and the AI on there is better than 22 and you can pretty effectively Loop loading and unloading
Im sorry but this is unacceptable. The ai is literally twice as slow as they were in the other games. They are so insanely inefficient not only do they take like twice as long to do the same task as they did in the last game but i noticed when sowing or cultivating they miss like 5-8% of the entire field. I haven't had much luck getting the AI to drive harvester places. Without the header trailer is seems a little better but it's still pretty unreliable. They do much better with tractors, even when pulling a trailer.
Try have the worker travel from down near field 64 to up near field 36. Watch it run into a building full speed. Or set it up for a dragon to loop to grain river silo from < -625.5, -795.7 | 80° > and watch it crash into the low fence every time.
I agree with most people here, absolutely hate the new ai worker system. Seemed more straight forward before. You could start whatever you needed done to the field, let the worker take over and they just continue what you started. They weren't perfect sometimes but it was straight forward. Now it's just confusing and they start either outside of field or in the center and never seen to finish. And I find a custom made field just confuses them 😵
A few things. 1. Idk why it doesn’t default to headlands first. 2. Sometimes I miss the old ai. It’s better when you need it to take over to finish a row while you go to the bathroom or set up somtbjng else. the new ai is only better if the ai is going to do the entire field It definitely could be better and instead of headlands on or off you should be able to not do headlands at all. Especially if the field is open
As long as CoursePlay comes out eventually I will be happy. This AI implementation seems improved over FS22, but it doesn't look like it has CoursePlay beat yet!
Can the ai unload a harvester with a trailer while your driving harvester, i know im older fs22 you were able to beep horn and have ai come and unload into trailer for you
On field work I am very disappointed you cant tell the work to take the headland clockwise or anti clockwise. For example the work will the take grimme potato harvester for tractor and will harvest on the wrong side so the harvester drives on the field all zhe time...
When using a semi to make deliveries I hire a worker setup to loop. The first delivery is fine but once the truck gets back to my silo the worker just goes in circles and does not reload until I intervene. Has anyone else had this issue?
Beware when trying to grow or do jobs that require a Forage Harvester and a Chase Vehicle (Basically a Harvester without internal storage), the Ai is dumb as bricks and cant be the chase Vehicle so if the field is decently sized you are in for a few hours of frutration....
You also cant be the chase vehicle of you let ai do harvester.. you can do one lane and then it wants to turn, but he cant cause you are in his way.. but if you are to far from the ai it will stop working until you line up again.. And then frustration starts, because the ai wants to turn again🙄
Yeah everytime you try to send the ai to a field in the combine always everytime worker is blocked by object. Only thing is there is nothing in front of the ai
My ai will mow a field like a pro for a contract, but says he cant find my field when he is sittin in it. Ive noticed depends on which field. He will just say he cant find it on some fields, others he will activate the mower and sit there indefinitely.
Three weeks late reply, but it works fine for us. On Riverbend Springs we've joined field 3, 4, and 5 together, and also 6, 7, and 9, and the AI has no issues.
The more I see of FS25 the more I want to cancel my preorder. So far the only thing that interests me is the new animal pastures, and I’m not sure that’s worth paying £40 for

My suggestion to @philash824 is to keep the game and continue to play FS22 and come back to FS25 at a later date. Remember, if you preordered you get the Macdon pack for free. If you get your money back and at a later date decide to get this again, you WILL have to buy the macdon pack separately.
I sent my ai worker on a delivery of grain and he drove for a ways - right into a house. And is anyone else seeing where if you are working a field, and you pause the screen and unpause it after a few minutes your tractor kept moving and now you’re in the woods?
The ai is smarter in some ways but a huge downgrade in others. If your field is not a perfect square or rectangle with plenty of rokm to move it will very often just stop for no reason and wont move until you reset them
So the graphics are better, but the ONE thing everyone wanted to be better AI, is only mildly better. And Giants didn't hire the courseplay or autodrive developers to fix their AI issues. This game should be labeled "Early Access" just like FS22 should have been.
My AI workers are absolute idiots when it comes to driving to destination. More often than not I somehow have to unstuck a tractor wrapped around a pole right between the tractor and its attachment. God they are awefull at that. Edit: I have also seen AI harvesting a potato field diagonally even though it was perfectly square. It took them twice the time it should have taken them, considering potatoes aren't the fastest to harvest you can imagine my expressions looking at them.
You should try to get the AI to harvest with the self propelled vegetable picker and self propelled potato picker. Its like a monkey trying to fly a helicopter, it aint no workey.
They still need to get their sh!t tighter on the transport AI? That should be a basic feature, so useful for tidium. If only the frame rate was expectable. This will not bode well for customers
The AI traffic is supremely annoying with this. The new logic they have for avoiding you has repeatedly led to a car blocking the tractor as the ai worker tries to unstick themselves. Leading to a they can't move and we can't move situation. Typically happens when the AI driver leaves the road to join a field or take a junction.
AI Sucks on 2025. In my opinion, they've made AI and controlling vehicles much worse. Not sure why they messed with something that worked. I also think the menu system is worse. Here's hoping they continue to work on this and fix the issues.
something not right, i line my harvester up at edge of field then hire a worker, he goes on a detour doing u-turns in the middle of field, Noooooo harvest from the edge like i asked.... Nahhhh we cant put up with that Giants please fix that ITS BROKEN!
Improved helper AI my ass,my workers start sowing field from the middle of the field.Edit:didn't know that they are starting from the middle of the field,but do you know what the problem is with this,in previous games i used one to cultivate,if i didn't had the seeder that does both,cultivating and planting and then the other one to plant.You could do than as soon as the first one cultivating makes few rows but how do you do it now when they start cultivating and planting from the inside out
There will prob be ai driving update, but so was fs22 gonna get. It had 1 update but was never fixed. Now I see there is still issues with fs25. Giants better get on it

you have to take into account the consoles, way less mods there, so this one is a decent improvement

U do know your talking about a PC only mod right? Consoles never had courseplay as it's alot more difficult to code for consoles as it is for a PC

My Ai is getting stuck on fences and signs driving to destinations. It’s 50/50 if they will make it. The target is unreachable is annoying.

how does the base game GPS differ from CoursePlay? What can you not do with base game GPS where CoursePlay may come in?
I have noticed spreading lime the ai misses a love spots and I do wish you could have stuff delivered to your farm

How do you set up 1 worker to harvest and 2nd worker to deliver it?
My AI workers just flat out refuse to work. They just sit still and do anything no matter what I try.

U do know courseplay was only a PC thing right? For consoles this is way better than anything on FS22 as fat as the AI

Can the ai unload a harvester with a trailer while your driving harvester, i know im older fs22 you were able to beep horn and have ai come and unload into trailer for you
I’ve had very little success with AI jobs even 2 weeks in. This video doesn’t do much to convince anyone that the AI is greatly improved from FS22.
On field work I am very disappointed you cant tell the work to take the headland clockwise or anti clockwise. For example the work will the take grimme potato harvester for tractor and will harvest on the wrong side so the harvester drives on the field all zhe time...

When using a semi to make deliveries I hire a worker setup to loop. The first delivery is fine but once the truck gets back to my silo the worker just goes in circles and does not reload until I intervene. Has anyone else had this issue?
Beware when trying to grow or do jobs that require a Forage Harvester and a Chase Vehicle (Basically a Harvester without internal storage), the Ai is dumb as bricks and cant be the chase Vehicle so if the field is decently sized you are in for a few hours of frutration....
You also cant be the chase vehicle of you let ai do harvester.. you can do one lane and then it wants to turn, but he cant cause you are in his way.. but if you are to far from the ai it will stop working until you line up again.. And then frustration starts, because the ai wants to turn again🙄
Yeah everytime you try to send the ai to a field in the combine always everytime worker is blocked by object. Only thing is there is nothing in front of the ai

You're not missing anything. Use the Autoloader mod to avoid playing "Pallet Loading Simulator".

This will improve with the advanced worker mod Bocuse its set up to what for triatic and take the quickest route.

My ai will mow a field like a pro for a contract, but says he cant find my field when he is sittin in it. Ive noticed depends on which field. He will just say he cant find it on some fields, others he will activate the mower and sit there indefinitely.
I wonder if the AI worker will recognize if you combine fields together, will it create new pathing?
It will but rows in on one half of the fiels is broken so I can't use AI or GPS.
I'm getting the feeling fs25 is not big American farming friendly. And not seeing much john deere is very sad.😢

All I want is a function to 'send worker/vehicle back to farm' so I don't set up the Go To function every time which fails frequently.

Three weeks late reply, but it works fine for us. On Riverbend Springs we've joined field 3, 4, and 5 together, and also 6, 7, and 9, and the AI has no issues.
Quick question. I play on PC with a PS5 controller, but the buttons on the help window show up as Xbox buttons. Do you know how I can fix that?

@@markrendall2152 and awesome weather effects, new maps, somewhat story mode, better graphics, etc. Besides, this has a lot of bugs, yes, I bet in a year all these bugs will be fixed and new additions will have been made. My suggestion to @philash824 is to keep the game and continue to play FS22 and come back to FS25 at a later date. Remember, if you preordered you get the Macdon pack for free. If you get your money back and at a later date decide to get this again, you WILL have to buy the macdon pack separately.
I always tell people to wait until reviews come in AFTER release date. These games don't be worth it a lot of the times until years after release

I sent my ai worker on a delivery of grain and he drove for a ways - right into a house. And is anyone else seeing where if you are working a field, and you pause the screen and unpause it after a few minutes your tractor kept moving and now you’re in the woods?
The ai is smarter in some ways but a huge downgrade in others. If your field is not a perfect square or rectangle with plenty of rokm to move it will very often just stop for no reason and wont move until you reset them
So the graphics are better, but the ONE thing everyone wanted to be better AI, is only mildly better. And Giants didn't hire the courseplay or autodrive developers to fix their AI issues. This game should be labeled "Early Access" just like FS22 should have been.
i can never get the AI to drive combines to the field, tractors are fine, other harvesters fine, just combines.
My AI workers are absolute idiots when it comes to driving to destination. More often than not I somehow have to unstuck a tractor wrapped around a pole right between the tractor and its attachment. God they are awefull at that.
Edit: I have also seen AI harvesting a potato field diagonally even though it was perfectly square. It took them twice the time it should have taken them, considering potatoes aren't the fastest to harvest you can imagine my expressions looking at them.

You should try to get the AI to harvest with the self propelled vegetable picker and self propelled potato picker. Its like a monkey trying to fly a helicopter, it aint no workey.
As much as I enjoy the Farming Simulator franchise, I don't know if I'll be jumping on the FS25 bandwagon considering I've only got 50 hours in FS22.

They still need to get their sh!t tighter on the transport AI? That should be a basic feature, so useful for tidium. If only the frame rate was expectable. This will not bode well for customers

The AI traffic is supremely annoying with this. The new logic they have for avoiding you has repeatedly led to a car blocking the tractor as the ai worker tries to unstick themselves. Leading to a they can't move and we can't move situation. Typically happens when the AI driver leaves the road to join a field or take a junction.
AI Sucks on 2025. In my opinion, they've made AI and controlling vehicles much worse. Not sure why they messed with something that worked. I also think the menu system is worse. Here's hoping they continue to work on this and fix the issues.
I hate the AI workers. I miss the days of just goin to a field and pressing B and the worker harvests or whatever I need
something not right, i line my harvester up at edge of field then hire a worker, he goes on a detour doing u-turns in the middle of field, Noooooo harvest from the edge like i asked.... Nahhhh we cant put up with that Giants please fix that ITS BROKEN!

Improved helper AI my ass,my workers start sowing field from the middle of the field.Edit:didn't know that they are starting from the middle of the field,but do you know what the problem is with this,in previous games i used one to cultivate,if i didn't had the seeder that does both,cultivating and planting and then the other one to plant.You could do than as soon as the first one cultivating makes few rows but how do you do it now when they start cultivating and planting from the inside out

That game is not finished 100%, i regret any cent that i pay for game,game is broken..
There will prob be ai driving update, but so was fs22 gonna get. It had 1 update but was never fixed.
Now I see there is still issues with fs25. Giants better get on it

anyone that thinks AI is awesome hasnt tried harvesting carrots yet. I ended up just selling all my equipment and cheating in a million carrots just so I never have to touch them again
