@@phillipallen1 I tried the 941 because it looks like it has swath dropping and it DOES offer four mode choices (wide, swath and swath and left/right). Didn't try the 390 because it looks like it cannot.
Here's a method for making money on easy mode. It's a bit of an exploit but doesn't require much initial capital. Put a loader and pallet forks on your tractor. Wait until November or December, thereabouts, and head to the store with your trailer. Now, oats will sell for about $1,800 - $1,900 per 1000 liters. You can buy horse feed for $1,400 per 1000 liters. Pick up the feed, unload it into your trailer. Once the trailer is full sell it to the best or most convenient sell point. Farmers market is generally the best local sell point. You make a profit of $400 - $500 per bag of feed. Seems slow at first, but if you can rent a larger trailer and fill it fairly quickly you can make 4k to 5k per load sold, and relatively quickly. No cheats, no downloads, no panic selling or waiting for tiny productions to decide whether or not to give you anything at a whim. Just straightforward exploitation of an overlooked game mechanic.
another good money method is buffalo mozzarella, it is very expensive to get started because the barn is like 250k but each pallet is 25 grand i believe so 10 would pay back the barn
Selling "unused" equipment is really a bad tactic: I converted the JD to narrow tyres and I use it of spraying and fertilizing and I am planning to add a front loader to it. Let's be honest, at start on new farmer, you lack equipment more than anything (plow if you have plowing required enabled, sprayer, weeder, fert spreader). At best, you can get rid of some sheds or decoration buildings (I sold most of mine as I am planning to redesign the whole farm area down the line) Contract work... Well I am used to the FS19 contract payments (where a beet harvest could pay as much as 30 grands), so I feel like these have really low payout (I never got FS22), but still, the jobs on large fields have decent payments (about $10k at least). Beware though that some contracts are bugged (harvest contract on field 77 in Riverbend Springs will never reach 100% completion). Also most contracts which require some consumables (spraying, fertilizing, baling, bale wrapping) will require you to fill the equipment, so it will decrease your payout. Some harvesting contracts cannot be done solo (anything involving the Dewulf ZKIVSE that has no storage and requires you to hire a worker, reducing your payout)
So in case you didnt know. Put your animal pens on a grass field. Dont select pasture. Delete part of the fence and you can mow and bale it. Dosnt reduce the meadow fill amount. So benefit and kinda cheaty to get extra bales and still have pastures
Burrowing is situational, based on your current equipment and the equipment u can borrow. A good example is you have a 3m wide cultivator, the contracts for 15ac. This would not be profitable in the end cause of ur size and time it requires now the ai is willing to lease u a 16m wide cultivater, this makes it worth it to borrow.
7:14 Please note that you can wrap 180cm bales with the Anderson Hybrid X Xtractor. The only downside is that you cant drive that wrapper to the bales, the bales need to be put in.
.. well I feel dumb. I always thought the “government subsidies” sign was just a free sign to decor your farm lol. I’ve been using them since fs19 to decor my farm by adding one or two in the front of my entrances lol
I added a lot of them, because they arent as generous as they used to be in FS22 and I needed to buy a plot to progress. I also only can buy the one with the lower amount (which is ok, because 8M a year is waaaay too much) has anyone seen the other one around? It should be two in FS25.
the collectables are not really passive income. they are 1 and done and with 25 across the american map, its quite hard to find them all as some are quite large like the size of a small tractor and some are small like baseball size.
FYI: Solar and Wind generators are VERY misleading. You will only get 30- 50% of what it says typically. It's dependent on how much sun or wind there is that day and the amount it generates is based on max sun/wind for 24 hours. So the solar panel he was talking about says ~$9000/mo, it's usually closer to about $3000-5000/mo. Still nice passive income but it will take quite awhile to pay for itself.
What you can do is buy the solar and then place the sign next to it that gives you money until you are satisfied of what that solar panel should give you, since most of us play not to break the game we are aware of what is too much money from something
If you buy a front mower and baler you can equip both and let an AI worker do both mowing and baling. Worked perfect for me in FS22 but didnt test it yet in FS25. You may occasionally have to go over some corners to pick up grass but I expect if it still works, it wont be necessary in FS25, however must consider the AI worker does not ´see´ the baler and might crash it here and there.
Another missed easy way to make money is purchase discounted equipment, repair it, then sell it back to the dealer. I don’t know the discounted needed but anything over 40% will turn a profit.

One thing to note is that some of the harvesting contracts will provide a tipper trailer that's actually too tall to load into from the harvester, like the vegetable harvester jobs. I'm sure it's an oversight by Giants, but I found out the hard way and ended up nearly $90K in the hole at the start of the game once I realized vegetable harvesters don't have hoppers. 😭
Honestly, those jobs are a pain in the ass. I accepted a $20k parsnip harvesting contract where I had to drive a trailer next to the harvester operated by AI. The AI would just get confused at sharp turns and I would have to manually adjust it back into position again. Plus the field was massive so it took me almost 5 hours irl to do. Never again XD
Hey great video but I would really like you make a video explaning how grass works with the growth stages and how it grows/doesn't grow over the winter. I am very confused about grass because I always thought that you harvest grass in growth stage 3 but when I did some tests I could not see any difference in the yield when harvesting grass in stage 2 and 3. I did my tests on Riverbend springs field 4 and I made sure to put concrete around the field so that I would get the same amout every time and the grass around the field would not impact the yeild. I had all the settings of lime, weeds, periodic plowing and stones off and I tried fertilizing 2 times and just with the fertilize you get from grass, still no difference. This means that you would actully make more grass by harvesting at stage 2 because you would harvest more times per year. I figuerd out that you can harvest 3 times per year when harvesting at stage 3 and 4 times at stage 2 with seasonal growth on. Also for me grass doesn't grow over the winter but if you harvest in novmeber it won't grow to stage 1 until april but if you already have stage 1 or 2 before winter it will grow to the next stage in march. Hey there. I’ve been watching for a while. But I have a question about bees… and this seems right up your alley. I want to set up bees on my farm but I didn’t have a start farm… if I buy the start farmland later and it has bees, will it cause issues with my honey pickup spot? I play on console and don’t want to mess up my save
I think the collection spot gathers from all the beehyves on your whole map, so unless you do something to the palletplace you should be fine. You cant sell land without selling the hyves and or palletplace on it if not mistaken, the other way around buying land with hyves preinstalled, it will just add the honey to your owned pallet.
The Goweil wrapper actually comes standard with a 3 point AND a front loader coupler, so no need for a telehandler. Coupled with a front loader on your tractor you can use it to wrap and load your bales onto a trailer for just 16k, hands down my favourite wrapper.
Great tips... thank you! I do have a question though... first time playing Farming Simulator and wondering if you typically run the game at the default speed for time? Some people say it's fine to speed time up... but I'm not sure if that's really cheating or not. Yea they give the option, but would really like to know what the average player does. Wouldn't it kind of be the same as the government sub. you mentioned at the end? Of course not on that scale, but still...
I typically stay one 1x speed but that’s just what I like. The only time I speed up the time is when I’m looking at prices for grain to get the most money for my harvest. I don’t think it’s cheating, play however you’d like!
I play at 1x speed while I am prepping my fields to seed them. Once my fields are seeded I will take on some contracts to make a little cash while waiting to harvest my fields. I will speed the time up a bit if there are no contracts I want to do. Also to check on the used equipment for sale. You always want to check that. I was playing last night and I think I had the time on 10x speed. I was doing a very large harvesting job for 17K. I forgot to lower the speed back down to 1x or even .05 while doing the contract. Apparently if it changes months in the middle of a contract the time for the contract expires and all the work you did is wasted. However you still keep the crop that is in your trailer and harvester. Always make sure you have enough time to finish a contract!
Fertilizing and Spraying contracts do not pay well after you spend the money on the products. I got a $1600 fertilizer job and spent $1000 on product for just a $600 profit
For New Farmer on Riverbend Springs (I haven't checked the other maps), I would suggest keeping the JD tractor. I personally prefer the Challenger, but the JD is more versatile. With the Challenger you're stuck with front weights, no three point and no front loader. A note on Harvesting contracts, YOU have to do the harvesting. In 22 I would hire an AI to do the harvesting while I followed and delivered. In 25 , you have to do the field work. You can still have AI deliver. Field flipping is totally cheating! I was hoping that 25 would have dynamic field prices, so you couldn't make a huge profit from flipping, but also be able to kind of play into the market for when to buy or sell farmland.
What do you mean by having to do harvesting contracts yourself? I usually just hire AI. You make a decent bit on top too from selling the additional harvested crops above the 100% that you deliver. Do you mean it’s more costly to hire AI to do it?
You are 100% wrong. You CAN hire AI to harvest. I just did it last night. AI harvested and I delivered the grain. Oh and I sold my JD tractor and kept the Challenger for the 225 hp engine. I also found a tractor half off and the used equipment page. Gotta shop the deals!
@@maximus11400 I guess the only time you can’t use AI is the contracts that require a trailer to follow the harvester. I think the annoying one I did yesterday was parsnips. Cancelled immediately when I realised I’d have to follow the AI. 😂

Giants have dropped the sell price of silage so its not as good to make money any more, FS22 Normal = £341, FS25 Normal = £219 and thats highest price, HUGE drop
On console I have noticed that contracts have time limits I believe. This on ps5. There also bugs I have had big square blotch on screen and have to change camera angle before it goes away. This usually when I start the game. Other night one of the front tires on a tractor I barrowd for a contract was missing. Also percentage didn’t go down as I did contract.
Well, i guess this was meant for the absolutely newest of new players lol Sell unused things, use mods, do contracts and work your fields! Thanks, lmao

We tried the rice field on our multiplayer server and we could not get water on either tank that we tried. Moved it many directions and just wouldnt give us the prompt. has anyone else tried it?
Yes you can. I did 3 contracts yesterday for fertilizing. Borrowed the equipment did all three jobs with it. Then collect your money and the equipment is turned in automatically. Do not collect your money until all jobs are done.
You can start some mutiplayer farm and steal the money from it buy transfer it to your main farm. I did a video about it on my channel if you interested. This way you don’t have to speed the time and mess up your field or animal. I do thats when i mess up with construction or landscaping tools. I refund mysefl.
some times it's a lot cheaper to lease a equipment than buy, that winch for example you only gonna need it a few minutes per day so you only gonna pay the daily fee and eventually you gonna grow and get rid of it before it reaches the sell price.
I'm so disappointed with farm similar twenty-five.. I when right straight back to playing farm simulator twenty two. As far as i'm concerned, way, better game.
Please stop saying solar generators or wind turbines produce so much per month. It is not true. It depends on how much sun and wind. This was also true in fs22. Why does no decent TH-camr awknowlidge this.
Hey Cop, do you know when the PS5 is going to get a patch? I am stuck on the job contracts. It's telling me I can't open any more contracts because three are already active when I canceled all contracts. Then I'm also stuck with harvesters and other equipment like tractors, and I can't return anything at all. I know you talk to Giants and all that, and I did report this, but it's not cool buying a game you can't even play. I understand bugs, but not to the point where you can't play the game. Thanks.
If you want to make money fast, STOP hiring workers. Every video I have seen each one hires workers and then wonders why they arent making as much as they thought. There is no need to hire workers starting off as there is very little to do until you really get going. I never use workers for anything unless I have a multitude of things going like animals to care for, production, fields, etc etc. I dont touch fertilizer jobs or any jobs that require extra costs or products as it just chews into your profits. And I def stay away from any source that produces passive income like solar or any other type of money cheat. Solar doesnt make you money in real life it just provides power which you dont even get to use anyway. That would have been a better thing to have in game as the one thing I havent seen on this game is that there has never been a need for power yet a farm needs power to run its silos, generators, fuel pumps, lights etc. I see ppl hiring workers just doing contracts. Like seriously, what is the point of even doing it. The returns are very small if you rent the equipment and then hire wokers to do the work. I havent tested it but I would say you would actually lose money doing that or a very small return at best. Wages in base game are quite high, just having a vehicle automove from one place to another can cost hundreds or more depending how far they go and how efficient they are getting there as they dont always go full speed and knowing the ai, they arent the smartest tools in the farmshed.
It does not cost a lot to borrow equipment. Most expensive one so far was 600. That is not bad when the contract you are doing pays 9k. I hire workers all the time to do contracts or my own fields. I make a boat load of cash.
You missed the fact that the Samasz rear mower has a built in wind-rower, save a step and not need a separate machine for that.

Does it matter where i place the windgenerators in terms of how much money they make?
One of the things that is annoying me right now is the chicken barn you can't use or sell on Riverbend Springs. Most I already knew but you did give me a couple ideas... thanks
I really hope that one is a bug, I got confused when I saw the palletplace and no interaction possible at all. I didnt do anything with it yet as I thought maybe its a building project, I havent really looked at RS map yet. Playing Hutan Pantai first. RS is a bit overwhelming for me :p
thanks for this video farmer cop!
How to make money in Farming Simulator? Do anything but farming
This game economics always genius and amusing , what dem germans at Giant are thinking
Jeez farmercop, how much coffee did you drink?? It sounds like you’re talking at 1.5 speed!
Been watching since fs19 no mans land started, keep up the great content!

9:00 😭 best tip ever! I saw the rice but i didnt know it was that easy. Im so tired of either paying $2500 to fill up and it fills SLOOOOW or having to spend 2 minutes just backing that terrible trailer up (the small stainless one)
Anyone have any tips for why the rice field trick (9:00) isn’t working for me? I don’t have the option to fill from there.
You might have to cultivate it first in order to flood
You make sure its flooded and the trailer is all the way in the field
@@FarmerCop negative, turns out I’m just impatient. I made a really small one just like yours but it still took a full in game day to flood before I could use it.
@@Amandasaurus_rex you dont have to wait for it to flood. Mine works fine if i activate the flooding feature and then i can immediately get water from it
@@Amandasaurus_rex you don't even need a rice field. just back the trailer down into any body of water.
Giants have dropped the sell price of silage so its not as good to make money any more, FS22 Normal = £341, FS25 Normal = £219 and thats highest price, HUGE drop
Goverment Subsidy? What is this..... McBee Farms?
Kamala administration. They love giving stuff away
Could you do a material on the profitability of horse breeding?
On console I have noticed that contracts have time limits I believe. This on ps5. There also bugs I have had big square blotch on screen and have to change camera angle before it goes away. This usually when I start the game. Other night one of the front tires on a tractor I barrowd for a contract was missing. Also percentage didn’t go down as I did contract.
correction: you can wrap bales that are 180cm
You can wrap 180 bales, i am doing it on my server
Mostly good tips.
But no way would I sell the John Deere.
Front loader attachment!
And 2 tractors is good
Thank you, FC. Your knowledge is appreciated.
where did you find super strength mod?
There is a console command to enable it.
Why don’t you sell the equipment at the sell point instead, that pays more :)
Well, i guess this was meant for the absolutely newest of new players lol
Sell unused things, use mods, do contracts and work your fields!
Thanks, lmao
Yet you still felt the need to comment a useless reply....
@maximus11400 mine had more use than yours.
Talk about irony.
Boas dicas! 👍🏻
Update: That water tower gives you free water now!
Started the game and only bought a large windmill and saving money and keep buying them until 5. But now i get so much money it feels like cheating
You never told us how to sleep after selling the farmhouse?
used the gov subsidies in place of easy dev to get a start where I want, rather than just the default start.
didn't know about the free water from rice paddy thing. cheers for that.
Classic new age farmer, leased all the land for solar.. LOL
Selling everything on your farm and taking out loans is not "making money" haha. A better title would be "generating cash"
Top 10 Ways to make Money:
-> Take out a Loan
Why can’t you sell the main house on the tutorial farm ?
We tried the rice field on our multiplayer server and we could not get water on either tank that we tried. Moved it many directions and just wouldnt give us the prompt. has anyone else tried it?
1:20 I made more money using the lower horsepower tractor on contracts such as cultivating with the AI then I would have selling it.
Can you Farm Regeneratively in FS25?
You can’t use borrowed machinery to do other contracts
yes you can if it are the same kind contracts
Yes you can. I did 3 contracts yesterday for fertilizing. Borrowed the equipment did all three jobs with it. Then collect your money and the equipment is turned in automatically. Do not collect your money until all jobs are done.
I did this a bunch last night. They were the same type of contracts though.
4:35 Why lease a cultivator when u have your own that 1 meter narrower
The damage and wear you will do to your tractor and cultivator will be more than the leasing cost to borrow theres for a contract
They took away the government subsidy 😢😢
Soybeans im making 130k a year with base fields on riverbend
Grandpa has regrets
I’m just gonna sell my ps5.. I’ll have more money in the long run
Wait until Dbag Donnie puts tariffs on everything it will be worth more.
If im not mistaken, the solar panels are between 0 and max. Atleast ive never gotten the max value of money from them x)
You can start some mutiplayer farm and steal the money from it buy transfer it to your main farm. I did a video about it on my channel if you interested.
This way you don’t have to speed the time and mess up your field or animal.
I do thats when i mess up with construction or landscaping tools. I refund mysefl.
Its easier to just add money in with gov subsidy
@@FarmerCopeven easier if you open up the console and use SGMoneyAdd
Make money fast, tip 1, sell stuff. 🤣
And truth be told....what farms aren't getting a government subsidy these days?
They probably wont be getting much now with Donnie "the felon" in the while house.
@@maximus11400 IDK....he gave them like $20B during his first Presidency. Not sure what Slo Mo Joe has done for em
some times it's a lot cheaper to lease a equipment than buy, that winch for example you only gonna need it a few minutes per day so you only gonna pay the daily fee and eventually you gonna grow and get rid of it before it reaches the sell price.
I'm so disappointed with farm similar twenty-five.. I when right straight back to playing farm simulator twenty two. As far as i'm concerned, way, better game.
White goverment subsidy sign.
I bought a couple tractors and plows and hire ai workings each season. They just work in the background wile I do my own thing.
I don’t see the signs in my generator column
Thanks.
You have to collect them even after you cancel them.
Who plays on Mac??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
People who have macs
I make a boat load of cash.
sell your farm and do harvesting jobs..fs25 is too much like real farming, if you want 1 million the only way to get there is bring 2 million.....
